Delivery drivers were so nice and helpful. They worked quicky and went above and beyond to help me.

After looking for a nationwide mover, I was really skeptical and cautious about scheduling a company to move furniture from Indiana to Colorado. Lots of horror stories online about moves that took longer than promised and items being dirty or damaged on delivery! I gathered estimates from 3 nationally known movers and choose Mayflower. Glen Ellyn Storage (the area Mayflower mover) prepared the estimate and completed the move. From the estimate through the move, they were really great to work with. The estimator made a revision so that one stop could be made in Kansas and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The scheduling and details of the move was handled by a coordinator Adrienne who went out of her way to make sure things went well and I was satisfied. She even made a call after her work day to help us. The items seemed to be packed well - lots of padding when needed. Only had one hitch - two small items destined for Colorado were delivered to Kansas. Adrienne made sure the items were redirected and delivered to the Colorado destination in the next couple days.Evidently online reviews are most often from customers who have had bad experiences. I would have given them a 4 1/2 but couldnt figure out how to do that. My experience is Glen Ellyn Mayflower respects your possessions and does a nice job of handling the move.

My original movers didnt show up. I called Mayflower and they had a team of 6 movers come out 3 hours later! Amazing experience!

Delivery man did not warn me that the refrigerator probably would not fit through the kitchen doorway and that it would take me several hours to remove and install the refrigerator doors. Also delivery man was pushy and in a hurry to leave. I certainly wouldnt want him back. Delivery team was John & Dino. Also, the guy starts moving my brand new furniture even before asking me which I feel is very disrespectful.

Great moving experience from Chicago to DC. Came in on budget, excellent service, fantastic all around.

Surprising how these people are still in business. Horrible customer service. We ordered furniture from Z Gallerie and they were the middle men. I had to deal with Donna who was very rude and inflexible with the delivery times. She never called to confirm the delivery time and I had to call few times to figure that out. Although I specifically told her Saturday morning wouldnt work because we had a musical to attend with our daughter that we had already paid for the show, they called exactly in the middle of the show and said theyll be at our place in 15 minutes. We rushed home and were 5 minutes late and they ended up sending the driver elsewhere. She left a voicemail lying that the driver a lot of deliveries. Talking to the driver, it seemed my delivery was the last and he was going home after that. We ended up cancelling the order with Z Gallerie just out of principle and not wanting to deal with Donna anymore. Well never shop at Z Gallerie if they deliver their stuff through these guys.

Cause I use to be a employee there, they took care me well I hated it move ....
