Short version: 1/2 the staff is rude & uncompromising. The Manager is not empathetic to Customer’s needs. The equipment is faulty or NON existent. & don’t ever lose a personal item at the location, clearly you’ll probably NEVER retrieve it. Enough said…

I was racially profiled by the manager on duty and was accused of using a fake ID to rent uhauls. This is the first time I’ve ever dealt with this, as I rent uhauls often because I own a moving company.

Single-handedly the best location. The staff is amazing, Fransisca the manager is well deserved. I HIGHLY recommend Gage Park if you want a stress-free rental experience.

They lagged to inform you exact price on the truck rentals and policies

Introverts are not welcome. I tried to get a storage unit there today...They asked my phone number...I was happy to give it to them...They asked my work number...I was happy to give it to them...Then they asked for my friends number...Im a loner - I dont have any friends like that...They said they cant rent me a storage unit unless I give them a name and phone number...I tried to explain that all my friends are at work ...My roommate has a phone but I never called him...Simply call my job...Nope...they would not budge... So I left.Its wasnt just that - they had the attitude and tone in their behavior that said clearly they did not want to rent out a storage unit to me.

The run around it took to get my rentals was astronomical! You can do everything online... Have proof of those transactions and they will deny thier existence and promptly swap out your registered order with one that fits their understanding.

Horrible rude staff, no parking lot available to park so you can not pick up a rental or park anywhere to get into your storage unit . There is no street parking cause winter ban is in effect thru April 1 st, Tons of traffic on South Kedzie going into post office very poorly managed poor rude staff.

Upon getting my rental February 23rd around 2:30pm, the African American lady was very friendly; however, I called right after I got my rental to change the drop off location and Guadalupe answered my call and just said no that we could not change the location but did not help me understand why. I called customer service and the lady there perfectly explained why the pick up truck could not be returned at a different location and gave me an option to extend my reservation overnight so that it would be easier for me. Something that Guadalupe didn’t do. The next day February 24th, I went to return at 5:52pm, where a lady and a gentlemen were working. I pulled in the wrong area but the lady working did not let me know until after the fact so I reversed out and accidentally drove over a chain to where the pickup truck got stuck. The lady instead of offering help she went up to me and asked if I had insurance. Did not offer to help get the chain out and left me and my boyfriend to figure it out getting frustrated. My boyfriend and I finally figured it out and the lady and the guy both came out and immediately started looking for damages very money hungry but of course there were no damages. She told me to wait inside and both of them did not greet us, very rude, and overall the service was just bad. This location needs serious training on customer service especially if one of them was the Manager.

I stored my household items here for about 6 months. The storage units are clean and well maintained. I had a corner unit on the outside wall with a window. The window had aluminum mesh panels over it but still allowed light to enter which was fine for me. The hallways are well lit and the lift or elevator works great. If using a pickup truck to remove or bring your things the loading dock works great.I would definitely store things here again. Staff is friendly and polite and I would say that prices are reasonable.

Poor service. I made a reservation for a van rental over the phone giving them all my information and credit card. Called 8 min before closing that I was 4 blocks away. Arrived in 2 min and they had already locked the door and told me to go online and no further information as to where to pick up the key, what was my contract number. Then they closed the door in my face. When i tried to ask a question they just ignored me. On their way out both just walked past me until i told one guy that i only had a question. He said what was my question but acted annoyed so i just left it at that. I spent 35 min on the phone on hold with Uhaul to try to get a code for my reservation and truck key and could not get through. Online did was not giving me the code after i had to make an additional reservation but never got a code so never got my rental. I refuse to try to rent with them again i hope they arent going to charge me since i gave them my information and they did not help me at all.

First time there but the attendant was helpful and the facility was clean. Moving cart was available and rolled well.

It was ok but they could have adjusted the time for me we didnt pick the truck up till an HR later we talked to the rep at the desk and explained the sit and she said she would fix the time for us but at the end she gave us the same time limit and we had to literally Rush and run just to get truck back in time but other than ty needed a truck

Great service. Reserved a 10 footer that they didn’t have so they upgraded me to a 15 at no extra charge. Will definitely be using them in the future again

I made a reservation a week ago n Bryan refuse to help me find my reservation n said he couldnt help me.. N told me to call gouhaul.... N I couldnt speak to a supervisor n OR ANY ASSOCIATE. N hung up on me.. Horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I SPOKE TO GOUHAUL.. N THEY SCREWED UP MY SECOND RESERVATION that I made for Friday!!!!!!!! N NOW I CANT GET A TRUCK !!!!! UNTIL SUNDAY N STILL SCREWED UP MY RESERVATION!!!! FOR ThE SECOND TIME WHEN IT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE FOR FRIDAY!!!! IVE MADE A COMPLAINT WITH CORPRATE N THEY CANT CALL ME TILL 3 DAYS.. N MY #3 STORAGES GOTTA BE EMPTIED OUT BY SATURDAY!! N NO TRUCK AVAILABLE IN THE WHOLE DAM CHICAGO AREA!!!! THIS IS WORST EXPERIENCE AFTER TALKING TO #12 PEOPLE IN 1 HOUR N STILL CANT GET MY ISSUE RESOLVED!!!!! NOR A TRUCK HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now Im waiting for there REGIONAL TO CALL ME BACK AFTER 13 CALLS N TALKING TO 13 DIFFERENT PEOPLE N STILL CANT GET IT RIGHT!!!!!! REGIONAL PLEAE HELP!!! I AM A DISABLED PERSON THAT JUST HAD SURGERY. N STILL NO HELP!!!!! FROM UHAUL!!!!!! & PAYED OVER 4,000$$$$$$ BETWEEN HOUSE N MY CURRENT RENT N 3 STORAGES!!!!!!!

The facility is very new and modern, but what made it special was the service
