Do you like retro games, movies, and pop culture? I sure do and having NorCal Collectables in town is a big plus! Its been a minute since I have been in there, but I wanted to give them a quick shout out. I love collecting retro games: NES, Sega Genesis, SNES, are my three major consuls I like to dig around for, they have it all and more. The owner is super nice and really fun to chat with. He suggests fun games and will let you try them out too. They have a great selection and were even going through some remodeling to expand a little bit last time I was in there. Prices are similar to what you would find from most re-sellers (were not at the swap meet guys) and I understand. He actually had a lot of re-sellers beat from what Ive seen in the Bay and Sac. He was also cool enough to let me trade in a few Game Cube titles (I dont collect GC) for credit towards some NES and SNES games I actually did want. He even had some pretty freaking rare games in there. Had my eye on Mega Man X3, so hard to find! Check them out if vintage gaming is your jam.

Have worked with the owner many times online, both as a buyer and seller, he is very knowledgeable and fair on his prices. Great guy, wished I lived closer and could visit his store while chatting it up in person. Thanks NorCal!

Nice to pop in once and a while to see whats come in. Usually has some good stuff. Lots of nifty old games and figures I like to see. Usually has some old consoles and collectors edition consoles too.

This place is great! They got you covered! From Hot Wheels to Video Games, Star Wars, Action Figures, vintage toys! Its a clean store, a pleasant store! With a great customer service! I highly recommend Nor Cal Collectables!

I have been here 1 other time and it was enjoyable. This time however, it was a total letdown. I was greeted with a yellow sticky note on the door saying that they were closed. No fun today.

Best place in town for your retro video game and collectible toy needs! They are know what they are talking about and have a great selection. All gameboy cartridges have new save batteries etc...I love this place and will keep coming back as long as Im in or near Chico. Truly one of my favorite stores.

This place is like collector heaven. Everything from old video games and Pokemon gear, to Hot Wheels and action figures. Plus so much more. The owner always strives to find new and incredible items and collections to buy to improve their inventory.

The store is well put together. Staff are super smart and helpful

Has good quality of games and systems that Im looking for. The prices may be a little high but thats to be expected of retro games and systems and overall best place to buy retro games and systems and plan on making an online purchase for games if its available

High prices, but decent quality and selection.The games and systems they have there are usually hard to find and rare. I would suggest this place as your last resort.The only selection that was not too pricey were the games for mainstream systems like Gameboy, and PS2/PS3.The person inside the store was rude and answered questions in a way that made you feel like you were disturbing him.Hours mean nothing, you just have to go there to see if it is open. I have gone 4 times separated by weeks on random days of the week during opening hours only to have it be open once.

I absolutely LOVE this store. The selection of retro games selection is awesome, and the owners are as friendly as can be. Ive been going to this store for around 4 years now. I used to live in SoCal where I would patron a video game store much like this one, and 4 years ago (to my surprise), I discovered this place whilst looking for stores that sell the retro stuff that Im into. I suggest anyone who loves retro video games and toys to come and give NorCal Collectibles a look.

Place reeks, literally everything here is overpriced like crazy. If you want a Nintendo 64 for $100+ be my guest and get ripped off. Ive never seen such mundane prices in my life for retro consoles. Not only that but I had to wait almost an hour to enter because a note was left on the door Lunch break. Do yourself a favor, even for nostalgia, buy someplace else even Gamestop has better prices and that says a lot. Must be going out of business.

So I live 30 miles from this place. I called ahead and asked the owner if they pay better prices than gamestop. He assured me that they most definitely do. So I drove to his shop. I had a huge box of games and accessories. From Wii to xbox one. He quickly looked through it all and said he didnt want any of it.....very disapointing. I drove to gamestop and they took about half of what I had and gave me $130 credit. This place is a joke and very small. It appears larger than it is.

Prices are HIGH, exchange only return policy if they even HAVE an equivalent. The owner is a nice fellow but 2-faced, the son comes off as rude. They have some rare gaming hardware you wont find online easily, but if you can help it SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Bought my superboy here plus a handful of games to go with it, at that they threw in a free super Nintendo controller. definitely recommend dropping by to take a look around.

Its a blast from the past. They have all the old games and consoles from the 90s and even stock some D&D books, all at reasonable prices.

Yo this place is taxed... they go around taking advantage of elderly ppl at garage sales low ball than charge 4x what they paid in the store!They don’t give any breaks Amazon and GameStop got them beat for all retro game prices.. I actually collect they don’t
