Super friendly staff and they always have some cool selections from older systems that change regularly.

I was referred here by the Gamestop inside the Chico Mall didnt have the game my son was looking for. Staff was incredibly quick to assist and they also take COVID protocols very seriously. Thank you!

Got exactly the controller I needed for my xbox one, pre-owned and its in mint condition for 20 bucks off buying new. When I was waiting in line the clerk was very patiently and helpfully explaining their funko figure products with a special needs guy in a wheelchair- didnt seem to be hurrying the guy at all and was answering all of his questions. Overall great service and if they dont have it in store theyll order it for you pretty quickly.

What a great place to buy games for cheap. Love the used section. Plus now I found out they still sell phones and other cool tech stuff. You can even trade in your unwanted items for cold hard cash!!!

If you’re going to buy games, this store is the place. Much better service than Walmart and target and the prices are exactly the same if not less. Plus it’s really the only game store on this side of town.

I bought two used controllers two headsets and a charging dock for the new controllers....one of the controllers is dead won’t charge and won’t connect to anything I’m taking it back in but there should be mandatory testing of these before leaving the store I live 45 mins away and it just sucks to get home and find out you bought a faulty controller 😕

Best of the Gamestops in town, the employees there are chill and open minded, never really afraid to chat about anything from politics to corporate and internal affairs (even if corporate doesnt like it, its much more conducive to purchases! dont make them change or I wont shop!), the store is always clean to the point of being spotless, and everything is neatly arranged in ways that the other 2 in town couldnt possibly hope for.

They are OK but only affordable if you go during a holiday or sale event! The CDs sometimes dont work and cant be replaced even when you buy protection. So thats frustrating.

Guy made me lookup the phone number connected to my reward card . I just bought a ps4 2 weeks earlier from a different cashier and they found my account with my email in 10 seconds . Anyway it took me 30 minutes in their to buy one game and Killed my whole vibe. 1 star.

I would have to say, out of the three Gamestops in Chico, this one is the best. The management and employee crew is very helpful and friendly. These are very important qualities to consider when shopping for me, as I dont believe I have all the answers ( even though Id like to think I do at times lol ) and when I go there I never am made to feel stupid, or wasting anyones time.So, I would recommend this store first, secondly the store in the mall and last the store on mangrove, there is an employee there who does not value customers to well and in his words does not do what the online website says. Meaning, when I told him that I can get double trade credit if I trade my PS3 in for the GOW slim, he said no, we dont follow the online promotions. Give me a break-
