They had everything we wanted and so much more. I believe there prices were really good. We got 2 costumes for under 50$ Friendly staff! Thank you Spirit! 😎👍

This store is an experience in itself! They have lots of great Halloween decorations and props, as well as all the classic costumes. The display props are all set up in the middle of the store and ready to be triggered so the customers can see and hear the effects very well. The staff is friendly and helpful there. It’s a fun place to visit, I’d recommend checking this store out for sure. *** If you have little ones you should know that some of the items and working props are quite scary and bloody.

Quality items...never an issue with product! Certain items over priced for sure! My issue is customer service! Not one person asked if we needed help with anything, they never even acknowledged us! I assumed they were going to ask if we were looking for anything specific! No they were making sure we weren’t stealing! They spent the entire time following us around like we were there to steal! There was like a max of 7 people in the store total! Not every person who walks in is a thief! But they treat their customers as if they are all there to steal from them! Even though we did spend $71 on 4 items! They definitely need to be better trained in customer service! Especially when people are there spending that much money on 4 items! Be less suspicious and more accommodating!

Rude employee.... I get it... masks are required while in the store.. girl will half her head shaved and painted green came up rudely to me telling me to put my mask on.... I decided to shop elsewhere, overpriced items... and rude EEs will keep folks away... I was well prepared to spend about 200 bucks on items.. politeness is not common here at this Chico location...

They dont offer plus sized costumes at the one in Chico, CA. The store is set up weird. Has a weird smell. Half the animatronics do not work so you cant see before buying

No bathrooms. Thats a problem and takes away from the shopping experience. Its already expensive and I was willing to spend but had to leave due to no bathroom. Ended up buying at Walmart.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Picked up a $60 costume that was missing the main portion of it (red Riding Hood dress) but I was fine with it because all I needed was the hooded cape anyways. The best they could do was take $6 off. Thats it. $53 for a cape?!

Got accused of stealing for having my phone in my pocket then got told that a customer told them I stole I mean if you guys own my phone then sure I did steal my phone

Love this store. They have so many options on costumes and many ideas for out of the box thinking on costume ideas. But, they are expensive. They have tons of stuff to decorate your home for Halloween or for a party. Unfortunately they dont have as much stuff as they use to and its becoming cheaply made. The whole point of buying decorations is so that it looks real so that it scares people!! The staff isnt helpful and dont know what they are doing.

I was in your store buying a costume. My son found a costume in our price range (well thats what we thought) the price tag clearly said $10.00 I get to the register and the guy behind the counter scans the costume and it comes up a total different price. Which was higher so i asked him how that can be when the tag says $10.00 he then turns to the manger and she rudely says its $19.00 and I asked how when the tag says $10.00. She then tried to tell me that the numbers were smudged and it didnt say $10.00 it was $19.00. Im sorry but the ONLY number that ISNT smudged is the zero!! Well long story short I walked out with the costume and having to pay $19.00 plus tax. They were so rude. I drive over an hour to get my son a costume. This place is the worst place to buy a costume. The sign on the door says they open at 11 about 20 families were out here at 11 and they didnt open until 11:45 when they did finally open the manager of the store who was the one that was late was very rude to us they have very little toddler boy selection and the store is a complete messin side I wish I would have saved my time and my money and just gone to Walmart or something

They have just about everything you need for your costume and lots of items to decorate your home, spooky or friendly. Helpfully and friendly employees too.

Here is a Chico State student that just had the worst experience of his life at this store. This store is selling broken products and do not refund your money and if argue with the manager, she will call the police on you. So be aware people. Take your business some place else and save yourself the trouble.

I will never ever step into a Spirit store in my life. Just had your manager Andie at the Chico store humiliating me screaming out loud in front of everybody she would call the cops on me and have me removed from the store accusing me of saying something I didn`t say. Last week I was there buying other products and saw her doing the very same thing with another guy. She has this pattern. I`m calling local news on you, filing a complaint on the better business bureau and filing a lawsuit for the embarrassment she put me through. I have never experienced anything like that in my entire life. Now let me tell you what caused all this: I was looking for buying a Creepy Sailor Boy and found the last one that I didn`t know if it wasn`t working due lack of battery or because it was broken. I had a coupon of 30% off and asked the cashier if I could use the coupon he said it was expired, then he suggested to use the one on twitter or instagram, he was nice enough to pull out of his phone but he said I had to purchase two products. He affirmed that he would ring in the less value product and it would get me 30% on the most expensive one. I told him that if I didn`t get 30% off the Creepy Sailor Boy which costed 39.99, I would not want the product. He rang it in and I got the discount for the lesser value which was 1.50. He charged my credit card and I told him I wanted a refund. He then called the manager, she said she could exchange for something else but not refund. Then I explained it was her employees fault for giving me the wrong information. She said I should have read the information on the coupon, but she wouldn`t let me explain that the coupon was taken from her employees cell phone, so I didn`t even see it. She kept on saying there`s nothing she could do. Seen the injustice that had just happened to me, I lost my temper and used a term I am not proud of and then she accused me of cursing her which is completely untrue and had the security trying to escort me out threatening to call the police. I said: go ahead and do it. You are wrong. Your employee made a mistake. She kept on yelling that the store was private property, she would have me arrested, I wasn`t welcome in store, that I could not trespass. All this at the center of the store. The security guy felt so bad for me because at this point I was shaking and crying and said: Sir, I understand where you are coming from, but you have to leave it. I left the store with the feeling that your manager not only stole my money but also stole my dignity. And I`m going to make sure that all of you pay for this in court. Last week your manager Andie did the same thing with a guy and I saw the security escorting her to her car right after the episode because that`s just what she does. Those are the only two times I`ve been at your store and the scene repeated it in both occasions. It turns out that I just changed the batteries and one of the arms is broken and I can`t even go to the store do something about it because according to your manager Andie, I`m banished from entering the store or she will call the cops on me. So, I got ripped off by your manager because she didn`t want to refund my money, got humiliated by her in front of the entire store and now have to keep a broken toy because I can`t go in the store to exchange it.
