My visit here was good the store was very clean and the aisles were also very clean, A lot of great deals but sad that I didnt see any Nike items anymore.. only Puma, Champs and a few other brands.Overall great visit!

Nice, big JCP with a ton of merchandise, it was very busy. I wish they had more cashiers working; the lines were long and customers were getting impatient. Also, why does this JCP sell Forever 21 clothing when there is a Forever 21 at this massive mall..... Maybe you can get the items cheaper here with the extra discounts JCP offers.

The place looks like my sons room when he was young at his worst period of learning how to pick it up. To be fair the staff is overwhelmed and underappreciated/paid.

We want to JcPennys and I got some cute soft blue pajamas that were on sale. Love after the holiday sales. I also got a Star Wars shirt that was super reasonable. I love this place it has some good clothing and make up. Will go back again for sure

Jc Penny is the worst store in whole galleria due to their shoe selection thats never available and never sorted in the boxes, only display shoes are available. Its been over 10 yrs later and their shoes are still as scattered as they always were, ridiculous

Love this place and the amazing goodies that I find. However the purchase process is not smooth. Only a few cashiers for the whole store and very long lines without air conditioning.

JCPenneys is behind the times very expensive. The clothing is not exactly whats in style. And for what youre getting you can get online much cheaper. And you have no problem return policy and I think that if you are unsure of your sizes go in get your sizes and then get online and order your stuff. Because JCPenneys is just for my grandma. And my grandmother has passed.

I was happy to get the end of season discounts, but not quite enough check out stands open so there were very long lines. The checker tried hard to give great service, but he recognized the long lines offset what he could do. He gave a nice apology and Im happy with my purchase.

I love this store and everything that they have in it. They always have what I like with the right price and sale. I can always find shoes for myself or for my children also and I always seem to find a great deal for my childrens clothes. I also love the fact that they sell the sports gear like my Golden State Warriors apparel. They have enough in stock for me to grab!

I found some great pieces at great prices. I told the cashier Nina that I needed to make sure things rang up on sale/clearance, so she went over each item as she scanned it. A clearance item rang up full price, but it did have a clearance sticker on it, so she honored the clearance price. Great customer service!

EDIT:0 stars if I could. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. After 2 weeks trying to get an order to go through, it finally arrived. I was supposed to be getting 3 pairs of shoes. Instead, one of the pairs came with 1 shoe. Thats right: 1 shoe!No return label, no receipt. Called customer service again, got the return label sent. Went ahead and re-ordered the same pair of shoes and guess what? Cancelled. AGAIN.Ive spent hours with customer service in the past 2 weeks. The customer service reps are nice and helpful. However, whatever system JC Penney is using to process orders is canceling and giving no reason.DO NOT BUY ONLINE.After i get this order squared away I will never buy anything here again. Fairly good layout. Its two stories. Lots of sales going on,but coupons arent taken for a lot of items. Not enough cashiers to make it a quick checkout.

Terrible Terrible workers in this store ... today I forgot my wallet at the checkout. The store was already closing, one worker accompanied me to the door, I did not have time to leave the store and when I noticed that there was no wallet, the worker of this store said that I would leave the store and she would go and fetch my wallet, waited 15 minutes, I started knocking and no one did not open ... after 20 minutes she went to the door and said that I would leave the door otherwise she would call the police and that they did not find any wallet and do not believe me that I forgot something in the store. I started crying and belittling so that they let me go to the checkout because I remember where I forgot it, I had 2 children, 5 and 11 years old ... the children started crying and asking them to solve this situation, but they coldly said in hard words that we would leave, turned around and left ... I started running around the pier and found a security who said that they would try to help us ... the security asked for another 15 minutes that they let me inside and he was responsible for everything. In the end, they missed it, I ran and took my wallet, but not where I left it, I noticed in the car that $ 200 was missing, but I did not become indignant, since I had all the medical cards in my wallet for the whole family; phone and car and house keys. I don’t know what I would do if securite didn’t help us, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR HELP ... I still tremble from what I would do with two children to the parking lot without keys and phone. I melted so much that I could not sleep, I decided that I should write this case here ... workers in this store …

Took my sister to Penneys for her hair cut. Excellent salon.

You can find deals and cloths on sale. It is hard to find a variety and my teens dont find what they like here, but I am happy we have a store like this in town.

Im not sure whats going on with JCPenneys there at the Galleria, the gate upstairs inside the mall was broken and I stood there for 15 minutes before I knocked on gate and ask why isnt it open and they told me that it was broken, what angers me is they saw me standing there till 11:15 a.m. with my service dog my cane and they did nothing to let me know the gate was broken until I knocked on gate and ask her why its not, then she tells me I have to go down elevator and go in the store and use the escalator to go up to the second floor, then the escalator to go upstairs was broken so I had to take the elevator to go up to the second floor to get to the return counter, when I got to the return counter there were five people in front of me and it took 30 minutes just to get help what my return. The person working the return counter called several times to get another person up there to help him and nobody ever showed up oh, there is absolutely no reason for any of this.

As always I found the store had great sales. The sales associates were pleasent, helpful u0026 friendly. Will be returning.

Walked in, a couple employees roaming about, not a single hello etc. Went to the lingerie dept, 2 employees not a word from them. Go in to try a few things on, come out out stuff in the go back rack, one of the hangers broke, the employee put it back on the shelf with the broken hanger!! Go to find an open register, that was a trek, found one at the mens dept, and the cashier ARGUED with me when I was shocked the coupon I gave worked, I commented I worked for JCP before and was always excluded. She argued telling me how wrong I was. Are you kidding me? I didnt get into it with her just left. But I worked for JCP for 10 years!! 2 of those in this location. I left in 2014. I did Fine Jewelry, childrens, and lingerie! I know what the sales used to be for lingerie. And you know what we used to be required to do? Greet EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER when they walk in that door, if not we would get in trouble. JCP has been on the decline since Ron Johnson the old CEO tried to kill it off, shocked its still around. Very little customers and rude, lazy employees, doubt you will be around much longer,. Sad to see a company I once was proud to work for decline so badly.

I have a JC Penny card, and I spend quite a bit of money there, but not anymore. Got a 50% off coupon, and when I got there the escalator to second floor was broken. Obviously since it was a sale, it was crowded, and elevator had long lines. When I finally got to 2nd floor the check out lines were 30 people long, because they had ONE PERSON at each station during a huge sale... When I finally did get to counter, the saleslady was rude, and I just left the clothes on counter, and will not be back....Cut up my card...

Dressing rooms are open again! No getting all the way home to try on a pair of jeans and discover they dont fit! Large selection of items. Friendly clerks. Pleasant experience.Be aware of check out clerks that try to save you an additional savings by completing a quick and easy credit application. IF YOU WANT A PENNEYS CREDIT CARD AND HAVE FAITH IN YOUR CREDIT SCORE, GO FOR IT. IF YOU KNOW FOR FACT YOUR CREDIT SCORE IS BORDERLINE, do not do it. There is no such thing as a soft pull to check. It is a hard pull and a credit report will be generated.

Good variety of clothing. Took my petite 88 year old MIL to get some new clothes and she had no problem finding several outfits that fit great. Staff allowed us in with a huge pile of clothes and when checking out the clerk made sure to confirm that we were ok with purchasing a few items that were not on sale. That was a very nice touch.Also got some great deals here during Black Friday sale Cyber Monday.

I’m giving Jcpenney 5 stars. I know I know. You’re thinking I gotta be crazy because so left with nothing. Well it was holiday time so I understand it was a couple days before Christmas. The associate that helped me was friendly and got the shoes ordered for me. Didn’t need them for Christmas just thought while I was here to pick up an order I’d check on shoes. The Jcpenny staff was friendly. From walking the sales floor to fitting room to the cash register. Every interaction was welcoming and helpful.

Theres always a good deal and extra coupons at JCPenny! Love to shop there for home and windows. Also clothes for our 11 yr old daughter who loves to shop at Penneys.

Large selection. Great prices (especially during a sale--the prices were just as good as the clearance stores). All of the staff were super friendly but not pushy. The store was also clean, well-stocked and organized. Dressing rooms were also kept clean and free if clutter. Its apparent that the management cares about the appearance of the store.

Very poor customer service. I was in jewelry looking at watches. There were three employees shopping, trying on necklaces and bracelets, with a fourth employee behind the counter helping them. I asked for assistance and was told to.wait about 5 minutes until someone returned from break. I left the area and reported the situation to someone who said he was a manager. He said he would go check on the situation. I returned about 10 min later and they were still shopping!! That manager had either not gone or didnt do anything. I again asked for assistance and the employee grudgingly came over to open a watch case. She offered no assistance in locating the style of watch I was seeking...she literally just stood there a couple of minutes and then walked away. I will take my business elsewhere.

What a wonderful place to shop. My daughter and I were there for about 2 hrs handling the rest of our familys Christmas presents. We had excellent service in perfume, women’s, juniors and especially in the jewelry section. Wish I could remember her name, but her associate code was 0064 and her patience and assistance was exactly what you would hope for from any retail experience and yet we hardly ever receive these days. JCP has really hired well at this store. I look forward to my future shopping there. I went from hating going to the mall or big retail, to be pleasantly rewarded for taking a chance. Great job to the hiring managers. The ladies working over in the women’s areas were very willing to help which definitely made my shopping a lot easier. Thank you.

I found what I was looking for but got frustrated with the lines and got masks that go with today. I understand the inconveniences but I don’t understand the lack of conveniences. The store was not overly busy and the jewelry department was empty, but unwilling to help customers.JC Penny I like your stores, but you must improve the team efforts on customer service, especially in times of heavy stress.Unfortunately I was not the only customer to put their purchases down and leave.

Good selection. We were there for school clothes and shoes. I found a lot of things and they had a lot of sizes to. There was a good sale the day i was there. We left with a large bag of school clothes and shoes. They had a lot of things the other stores in the mall did not have. I found a great deal on summer sandals as well. I found a purse for myself and i will go back for a few things for the house soon. I am glad the stores in the mall are still there. I like to try clothes on and feel the quality.

Ive always been a JCP shopper, but since COVID and with the malls mostly closed, I havent been. I looked online but the choices were very poor, mostly frumpy looking stuff that looked dated. Today at the actual Roseville store, selections were very slim. Hopefully, theyll recover if the COVID situation ever improves.

Customer service is poor, most of the works are rude 😔 I had an issue with the sale signs. They are totally misleading, I am very observant and read the fine print, and they still got me 🤣 But sadly I wont be shopping there anymore.

I got a really good buy on a Jacket that got me through a business trip to Fairbanks, AK in -17 degrees last winter. None of the other stores in the mall had anything as heavy and warm on sale for even close to the price I paid for this jacket.

Couldnt find someone to help us out with what we were looking for. There wasnt much of a variety for kids clothing and it was mostly toys. They had some nice stuff for adults but very disappointed in shopping for kids apparel. Perhaps if a staff member was available to help us, we would of had a better experience.

Poor selection of juniors clothing and associate knowledge. I asked for help finding a shirt in the store. It said if i ordered it online before 3pm today i could pick it up in the store today. The girl told me it must be I the back because someone else already ordered it....then how could i order it online to pick up later? Not helpful at all.

Always love shopping at JCPenney. They have a large selection of styles, colors, prints solids, you name it. Everything from dresses to shorts. Great selections for Men, Women and Kids.

I like to shop around these big behemoths but rarely buy anything. The store was clean and the staff was kind but the prices are too high and the stuff is available in other places... I like the cologne and perfume counters as they allow you to smell what you like before you buy it. I will likely walk through these stores for years but not commonly buy anything.

Just walked thru looking for an escalator, which was broken the direction I needed. Looks like they need an update inside. Very blah feeling in there. Portable a/c blowing on a checkstand.

I was in line for 30 minutes before the store closed and my car at was on top of the parking garage and they were rushing ppl out so I went upstairs so I could check out there and the line was even longer I went to customer service and they refused to help me and told me that they were announcing long enough I couldnt leave out the doors where my car was if I didnt leave right away I couldnt make my purchase and had to leave immediately very very unhappy with all their customer service

I ordered some shoes for my brothers birthday.I received the shoes one week after his birthday and when received the shoes they sent me the wrong size I ordered a Size 14 and they send me a size 11 . I was the only one at the birthday party with no present. This was the worst experience ever! I didn’t expect this from JCPenney.

The store was so hot and suffocating. The air conditioning wasnt on. It was very hot so uncomfortable to shop. I had to leave couldnt finish my shopping.

Love the quality of their clothing and the care they put into arranging everything nicely. Just moved into Placer county a few months ago and I was so excited to find that JC PENNEYS was open! The JCPs around my last residence in the Cupertino Sunnyvale areas closed and other locations were too far away to get to without tons of traffic. Hope JCP can get over the slump and stay afloat.

Brandi was lovely, she is always totally professional and attentive. She explains everything thoroughly and never rushes you. She always lets you know about what deals and promotions are currently running so you dont spend anything more than you need to. I will be bringing all my optical needs here in future.

They advertise a sale on merchandise you cant get because they never have it in stock. Ive been in several times over the past few weeks and still no stock. And they dont seem to care. They dont offer to send it to you so for those reasons I would rate them below a one star.

Kids section was very messy and had way too much merchandise for ease of shopping. Jcpennny used to be a much better shopping experience, but now it feels like walking into a discount store instead of a department store. Ill probably choose a different store for the rest of my Christmas shopping.

Shittiest employee here ever. Tricked me into buying the credit card by saying its a reward card. But when asked, I thought you said reward card (showing him my American Eagle reward card), he says well it was another kind of card and it did say credit card. I know that you use all kinds of sales pitch techniques, but this aint one. This is a clear blatant lie and this is how you dissatisfy your customer who just might never come back. Other employees were going way above, but this guy didnt know what was going on. One bad fish makes the whole pond dirty.

I’ve been shopping at this JCP since it opened and I can say in the last few years this store has gone downhill fast. The women’s clothing departments look like a cyclone hit it and looks like a close out store. They no longer accept returns or exchanges at the womens dept checkout you have to go upstairs to customer service and wait in line way too long. I have severe back pain and having to go up there and wait was inconvenient and not customer oriented. This store and JCP merchandising has got to pull it together or yes JCP will be gone. I have always liked this company but finding any customer assistance and the new kohl’s like shoe dept is just horrific. Please JCP get back to great clothing at good value with a vision in your merchandising. Women today do not have time to go through dozens of racks of mark downs.

I had to dig thru every rack. Im a size LT and the size was sporadic and ended up leaving after an hour because nobody helped me.

We went in to buy a toaster oven that was on sale and could not find a sales person to help us. we and several others walk allover the dept. looking for help but finally left without buying anything that we came for. I saw at least 6 people leave the area in discust.

JC Penny web site said this store carried Lee Jeans but all I could find was a couple of odd sizes, lots of Levis which I didnt want. No clerks in mens department or any nearby department. Wasted my time even going to the store!!!

Overall excellent service and amaze balls deals, especially considering we were there for Black Friday shopping 2017.First the jewelry department, asked to see sapphire or tanzanite rings which isn’t quite common. Three staff members helped us in turn at their counters. We didn’t quite find the ring we want but I did find a couple of gold earrings for a major discounted rate ($130–u003E$30).We then went to the Home department. Found an amazing deal for stainless steel 13 pc cuisine art cook ware set. The lines were a bit long, but if you go to the side checkouts it’s not bad. Workers were quite friendly and helped insure best discounts.

Kinda pricey, for so so haircuts and color. I understand that men arent a priority and that any right headed man should go to a barber to get their hair done. But you would think some of the workers know what they are doing for the amount of time they worked in their fields. You can even kinda sense a feeling of dread from the employees. For instance a employee named Maegan, she is not very passionate about her work and gets nervous around men cuts. At first i thought it was normal for a new employee, however she has bin working there for 2+ years?! That just screams inexperience, not only that but you are working in a field that requires friendly attitude and customer service. So why so much dreadful environment and unhappy employees? Probably bad management would be my guess, maybe just a bad company. I couldnt really tell you, all i can say is that i had a bad experience. And hopefully i could encourage you to go other salons. If you do happen to go to roseville jcp salon dont go to Meagans chair, really not worth it.

I was looking for a watch. Not sure if the woman that walked up to the cubicle register was on duty but she never acknowledge me. She carried on a conversation with a fellow employee. I figured they were on break with no acknowledgement I decided to leave. I will still look for my Seiko watch.

Curbside service failed me yesterday. Tried calling the store to let them know and they placed me on hold. Had to wake up my kid and pick up the item. May not use it anytime soon.

The best Penneys in the entire central valley, hands down. Furniture and bedding is off the chain. Great mens clothing and jewelry/watch dept. Its next to Ruths Chris Steakhouse. Never heard it? Google it.

The photo studio employees are all amazing!!! They are friendly and did great with my crazy family... And believe me they are crazy. We had an amazing experience.
