The guys were hard workers, accommodating, quick and very helpful. The price is a bit high tho. I do recommend them!
Team George and Tom did an outstanding job. Chris in the office was extremely accommodating and worked my ever changing timeline twice. The guys had their work cut out for them, we filled the truck with a piano, weighing a LOT, and 2 full size safes. George was up to the task and the bunk bed breakdown and set back up was as smooth as it could be. All 3 movers were friendly and professional and really took great care of our belongings. They worked with urgency and were respectful of time! I would absolutely recommend 2 Men and a Truck for any move, 3 miles away like mine or across the country! Youll be hard pressed to find a better group of people at a better value, stop looking, call 2 Men and a Truck! Oh, good luck on the Doge George!
The processing of getting the move scheduled and then completed was so much easier with Two Men and a Truck! They were friendly, professional, and were very careful with my stuff, so I didnt have to worry about anything during the move. I unpacked all my boxes and not one thing was broken or damaged. Highly recommend them if you are moving - your friends with thank you!
This was a great experience. The guys were very professional in appearance and communication. They were no-nonsense in their work ethic and use of time. They were very careful to handle the items marked Fragile with the utmost care in lifting and packing in the truck!I am not a big 5 star guy BUT these guys certainly earned their FIVE STARS with me! You will be extremely pleased with the service!!! Rg
I would recommend Two men and a Truck whole heartedly. They were great to work with during the stress of moving. Everyone, from the office personnel to the two men who actually did the moving were fantastic. Everyone was kind helpful and patient and I would highly recommend this company for your next move.
Exceedingly professional in all aspects. I am a landlord who had to move a deceased tenants possessions - a tricky situation at best. The crew/office staff worked very closely with me to make sure the wrinkles were as smooth as was practical. And we had to do some quick adjustments to handle unexpected surprises. All in all a very impressive and fast solution to my problem. Thanks guys.
We utilized them in March for a move across town. They were on time and moved everything as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately during the move a treadmill was damaged. They worked really hard to make it right though and helped resolve the damage to our satisfaction.
I wish I could give them 10 stars! I have moved quite a bit and my experience with Two Men and a Truck, Chico was AMAZING! From scheduling my move, to adjusting the schedule, to move day was all flawless! Day of the move the two men showed up on time, were professional, asked great questions, and got to work. They were respectful and careful with my belongings.... and they were FAST! I moved 2 hours away, they took a short lunch break and got right back to work (they even picked up another man on the way so the unload was even faster). They didnt just dump my stuff either, they put it in the designated areas of my new home. I am also a Realtor, so I deal with moves frequently, and I am very very impressed with their service! Thanks guys!
Efficient, hard working movers. Friendly and helpful.100% satisfied with their work.
Great group of guys would definitely recommend this company
We were very happy with the young men who moved us. They were very professional and got the job done with no problems right on time. I will use them again when we need to move in about 8 months to our new home. Thank you Two Men and a Truck.
Ive moved 11 times in 19 years. Used this company the last 2. They are the most excellent in every aspect!
Broke several lamps, very rough with boxes, dropping them many times. We have used other moving companies in the past, these guys are the worse. Did I mention the final bill was 2.5 times the amount of their estimate. Not recommend-never again
In September 2020 my wife and I used Two men and a truck for a local move within our city. About 20 total miles between houses. The way they packed and protected our belongings you would figure we were going across country!Everything was loaded and delivered perfectly....They even were kind enough to RE MOVE from one room to another when we were undecided on what went where in the new house..Amongst the many delicate items they disassembled, moved, and reassembled were three intricate Sleep Number beds.We were impressed as each bed was reassembled and demonstrated to us as operational! As we finally made our way through the unpacking and unboxing we discovered one of the beds had deflated...After contacting Sleep Number Customer support and many phone calls to their help line one of our beds was still unusable...We finally decided as our last resort to call Two Men and a truck and ask for their help...It had been 2 months since the move and guess what...They sent David and Cullan out THE SAME DAY OF MY CALL...The bed is holding air and we cant thank them enough
Last Thursday Chris came over to give me a quote for both local and interstate. I also asked if they had storage, which he said yes. I told him if I didnt find a place local Id have to move out of State. In turn store my things til I got the rest of the funds to do a interstate move. His attitude changed when I said that. I am a disabled Marine Veteran. I dont have alot saved, so would need to check on funding or a loan.He left quickly. I called the office Friday to let them know I forgot to include my storage unit in the quote s. Not once since then did I get a call back. At all. No quotes. Nothing. Pathetic. Just wanted a quote so I could see if I could cover it all or have to get a loan or help. Obvious this company looks down on people like me. All I said was I may need to get help in funding the move.
Two Men and a Truck helped us with a move from our 2-story condo into a one story house. The two guys who came out were great! They were on-time, very courteous and so helpful above my expectations. It was one of those 100 degree days in Chico and it didnt even slow them down one bit! They really were amazing in many ways. For example, when they removed a bed from one of our rooms there were items under the bed that I had forgotten about so didnt box up. They just grabbed those random items and threw them in the truck! They didnt say anything about it and I didnt realize it until I was unpacking the new house and saw a nice little pile of books that I had no idea where they came from. Also, getting one of our beds down the narrow condo stairs was very challenging. They remained calm and cool and took the time to do it carefully. Im so glad they were there! I would not have kept my cool if it had been me!
Andrew and George were flat out FANTASTIC!!. From Chico to Sacramento and we cant thank them enough for theyre kindness and hard work. The gal in the office didnt call us for the two week confirmation so after the second call we reached a gentleman that dialed us in so that was nice.We would certainly recommend these guys.
The two people who came were extremely rude and unprofessional. If you’re looking for a company to move your items I would not recommend two men and a truck.
Movers showed up one hour early. Picked up all my stuff in an orderly fashion. That part was good. However, when it came time to unload they slid my furniture across my new hardwood floors scuffing and scratching the surface in every room they placed furniture. On top of that they lost 12 of my shelf pegs for my bookcase. Now I have to go to Home Depot and get replacements. The quote they gave me wasnt near what they charged me. I was quoted between $500 to $740. The bill came out to over $800. The amount of time it took to move was below the three hour minimum and I still had to pay more. I would not recommend these guys. Pick-up was ok but drop-off to my new house is now costing me more in repairing the damage and lost items.
Once again (used 3 times) excellent service provided by office staff Justin and Chris and by the movers George, Chuck and Seth. Packed and moved my items with no issues. Very professional, friendly, ensured furniture not damaged. Set up everything correctly and placed boxes in correct spots. Kept within time frames of when they would arrive.
They are always professional and friendly.I would recommend them to anyone!
I called Two Men and a Truck for a Business Move. Danielle was able to help me get a quote and setup my move in date. At the time of my move, Nick and Noah were very professional and did a great job moving and packing our furniture. They even helped set up the furniture exactly where we wanted it.
Our entire experience with Two Men And A Truck in Chico, from the office team - Justin, Danielle & Chris - to the movers who loaded and unloaded our belongings for our out of state move, were professional, polite, helpful, respectful of our possessions and the doorways and walls of our newly constructed home. We would use them again and highly recommend them.
They were so quick and very professionalAnd were able to help my move and throwAway furniture and unwanted junk atThe same time. All within a few hoursNobody moves like these guys!!
The crew did a great job & on time.
The movers from Two Men and a Truck did a great job with my move! They protected all my belongings and completed the job efficiently and with skill. They were friendly and accommodating and went the extra mile to be helpful. I recommend them highly!
These guys were really good. They were conscientious of our time, and also of our furniture. We have a lot of antiques and they took very good care of them. They tried to avoid taking more time, raising the price, when they certainly could have. They were pleasant to chat with and super efficient!
These two men arrived on time and did a great job. They packed out an assisted living center after my father in law moved into a nursing home. We were not allowed entry due to Covid but Two Men and a Truck were...and they did great!
We have used Two Men and A Truck for our last two moves and would highly recommend them. One move was from a nearby town and two moves have been to move out our furniture for home remodeling. The staff is easy to work with and the movers themselves were excellent.
I have moved numerous times and this was the WORST move that I have ever experienced. Things started off smoothly. My fiance and I had the house boxed up, sent our list and received our quote, which seemed reasonable. We opted for 3 guys, instead of 2, in order to get the job done faster. We were quoted for 6-8 hours and budgeted for the upper end, 8 or even a few more in the case of unforseen circumstances. The weather on our move in day was less than ideal (heavy rains), which is by NO means the fault of the company. We assumed this would tack on a few hours and were fine with that. Multiple times throughout the day our crew tried to quit mid-move, saying they would continue the next day. We called the local office who, after multiple calls back and forth between us and the crew, then called the franchise owner who assured us that the crew would continue. We were so relieved, as we had to be out of our house by the following day. About an hour later we received another call from the local office reporting that one of the crew members had fallen and all 3 guys had to be removed from the job. After confirming the crew member was okay and not injured, we asked why the remaining two could not continue working. The local office said they would unload what they had loaded so far, which was next to nothing- maybe 25% of our house. Hours later they arrived and unloaded the truck- including the crew member who had reportedly fallen. We still do not understand why he continued to work and why the other two could not continue to finish the job. We were assured the new crew would begin by 8-9 the following morning. The crew left their two moving dollies in the middle of our bedroom with furniture still loaded. Despite the issues, we purchased lunch for the crew and tipped them generously.Fast forward to Sunday at 11:30 am, still no crew. No office to call. No contact person. Nothing. Keep in mind, we have to be out of this house TODAY. We received a call around noon after we had moved several loads of boxes ourselves in our car and SUV. They were ready to start, but had no dollies because the previous crew had left them in our house with furniture still on. We loaded the dollies in our SUV and took them ourselves to the old house, to get things going. The Sunday crew worked diligently, but finally pulled out of our driveway AT ONE AM ON MONDAY!!!!! This crew was very respectful and polite and they did work hard. We told them as such, again tipped them heavily and fed them before they left in the middle of the night. The next morning I called the local office and spoke with Justin to express our concerns with the move in general, with our BADLY damaged refrigerator and to inform them that we lost EVERYTHING in our fridge and freezer, as it was taken out Saturday am and we did not receive it again until one am Monday. He twice, during our conversation used the phrase Im not trying to sound like a jerk but.... As a professional person, if you are using that phrase, then guess what, you are being a jerk! He refused to help us in any way and continued to be rude, so I told him I would call and speak with Danielle, who had been quite helpful previously. Fast forward a few more days, phone calls (no answer) and emails later, we get in touch with Danielle. After several EXTREMELY snarky and unprofessional emails from her, they agreed to charge us only for Saturdays hours, which is fair since that is what we were quoted. We were happy with this. They refused to reimburse us for the loss of everything in our fridge and freezer which took about 40 hours to arrive, or the extra day we had to pay to stay in the old house. They sent us a check for $56 for the damaged refrigerator, which will have to be replaced, as the damage is front and center across the entire front of the fridge. I have never worked with a more unprofessional, rude company. We came out WAY in the red to say the least with this one. As though moving is not stressful enough, throw all of this on top of it! Good luck if you decide to go with these guys.
The team was so polite and hardworking. They protected every piece of furniture, taped everything and did not complain or act rude in any way.
Guys were on time polite professional and price was reasonable
Your company generously moved our entire school back to Paradise at no cost. Your team; from first contact, to bid, to moving crew (Fabian, Cole, and Tanner) was outstanding from start to finish. We are most grateful to TWO MEN AND A TRUCK for your service to our school community in helping us re-establish our home back in Paradise.
Chuck, Mason, & Jordan did an excellent job!!They had to move a sleep number bed up stairs that were very narrow but they did it.They were very personable & really took care not to damage our belongings, we highly recommend them!!
Ill be honest, I was quite distraught when three men came to help me move. I guess I was expecting two men for some reason. That aside, wonderful people, the staff is some of the nicest and most helpful people I gave ever met. Jokes aside, the guys that came out were very professional and knowledgeable about the whole moving process. Not only were they respectful and efficient, they had awesome personalities. It was nice being able to talk to them. Other businesses felt more like robots that had no emotions. Two Men and a Truck saved us from multiple trips between apartments in 100+ degree weather.
WOuld be a five star rating, but they charge a minimum of two hours, for something that only took 20 minutes. It was an expensive 20 miuntes, but the guys were great.
A great moving experience. The guys really hustled and nothing was damaged in any way.Joe and I really recommend them.
Great movers - Professional, on-time and took great care of my furniture. My only issue is the 2 hour minimum - It took only 1 hour to unload my furniture, but had to pay the full 2 hours. (Most moving companies do this though) However, I did like that they didnt charge me a deposit days prior to the move, like other moving companies. Would definitely use this company again! Highly recommend.
First off the review doesnt have enoughstars to give people because Id give them more. They were professional, showed up on time, took alot of care to protect items and their prices were great. I was able to schedule on very short notice when moving my mother from Paradise to assisted living in Chico.
Best moving company for years to come. Have used since the 80s
The movers were amazing and efficient but my issue is with the lady I spoke with on the phone. I was told an estimate of 350 for moving my couch from Chico to Paradise. They make you pay for a 2 hour minimum (understandable) and it took all of 1.5 hours. Well we get to Paradise and sign paperwork and the gentlemen said my grand total was 422. Apparently the woman on the phone did not take into consideration their drive back. So I pay 70 dollars more than expected and was already a bit over priced. Will not use Two men and a truck again, I could have used another moving company who would have been more knowledgeable on their prices.
I had the pleasure of having Ryan and Taylor move me from Redding to Red Bluff on May 13, 2016. I have used Two Men and a Truck 2 times before and each time I have been very pleased. These strapping tall young men were the best. I have always had a good experience, but these two outdid themselves with their politeness, experience and the quick service they gave. I would and have recommended your service before and will continue to do so. They made my move easy and a pleasure not only with the way they handled my furniture but with their personalities also.
Fast and timely. At first, two hours total moving time were expected but it ended only being one! It was great, they disassembled and reassembled what needed to be.
Extremely careful and quick. These guys surpassed any expectations.
Most excellent
Expensive I just did it myself. Yeah I wish I had more money tho cuz I couldve used the help. Maybe next time guys😊
We are #Campfire victims with various furniture items between Redding and Chico. We had them start in Redding, pick up more in Chico and delivered in Napa. The movers were professional and courteous. They carefully wrapped the glass shelves from our hutch and none were damaged. They blanketed all furniture except dining room chairs. Definitely more care than if I DIY.
Wonderful customer service . fast and friendly
Wonderful help with my move
Very reliable and proffesional.
Great service!
Highly recommended 😁
Awesome and helpful
