I came in just to get my engine and tire pressure light checked. Friendly staff, good service and I wasnt there to long. Just its the second time they didnt turn off the warning lights for me. I know I couldve just walked back in but I shouldnt have to.
Took my vehicle in for scheduled service and was pleasantly greeted by a very nice lady who explained what she would be doing and walked me to the service rep who would be assisting me with paperwork. Then I was greeted by another young lady who was fantastic in getting everything processed quickly allowing me to be in & out of there in less than 10 minutes. Both ladies were very courteous and displayed excellent & quick customer service, which is what I like. In & out! Always with a smile and great attitude. 👍
I have gotten my cars service here for quite some time now and i have never been upset about it, service is always good. The service guy who i used to choose no longer works here which made me a little sad but yesterday i was attended by a new service tech Sergio Navarro and i 100% recommend this guy! He is polite, professional and knows how to communicate with you. He was completely booked for the afternoon appointments including mine but he still turned in my car in a good amount of time considering how many cars he had. I really appreciate his service! This was a very pleasant experience. Chris was my Service Rep. He was professional, friendly, courteous, and did all he could to ensure that my wait time was as short as possibly. He even came to find me in the lounge area, instead of calling me on my mobile or over the speaker, to not only update me on the progress of the work but as soon as the work was finished on my car. That was a personal touch that made this appointment go smoothly. He even took the time to help me locate my car as it was parked out of sight and not in the normal place after completion of work. While I need to share my faults in my experience today, I was 6 minutes late to my 10:30 appointment I however gave them a call in advance that I would be just a few minutes late. I came in for a simple service and after waiting for 2 hours to go about the rest of my day they hadn’t even seen my vehicle yet and with zero to no empathy they told me it would ready at about 1 to 1:30. While I understand that things get busy and delays happen please let me know it’s going to be a while especially when Toyota was the one to reach out to me to set this appointment up.

Service department is a complete fraud. Provided me with false multipoint inspection. If you ever choose this dealership make sure you check everything before receiving your vehicle. Sergio Navarro helped me with my maintenance, I told him to rotate my tires but he didn’t do it. However, he is a good guy. This is the first dealership I have seen where they charge for rotation. BE VERY CAREFUL.
If anyone goes to Toyota Chula Vista for service, you have to ask for Sergio Navarro. This young man is knowledgeable and a true professional. He has excellent communication skills and is very thorough when explaining what is wrong and what needs to be done to fix your car. Charge my sister $150 to replace the gas cap which doesn’t even take more than 10min to finish the work.The same warning light was on for two times the first time they charges $150 to do the diagnose and did not found out a problem and the service staff promised that there will be no diagnose charges next time if the warning light is on so there should not be a fee for diagnose. I agreed that my sister gave the authorization to perform the work but this is because she trust you guys and think that every dollars she spend here would be worthy but clearly it is not.me and family have bought 4 vehicles over the last few years here, my dad got a 4runner, my sister got a rav4, my other sister got a Tacoma, and I got a Camry here and this is the first time we encounter a problem but the manager say they did not charge $150 for diagnose and that charging the gas cap itself cost $150 but now you are saying that there was a diagnose fee of $150. you guys can not even be honest to your costumer and accept what you did wrong and overcharges.if you need prove of what I just says I can post evidence here.
Just purchased low mileage 2019 Toyota RAV4. Only flaw found after 100 miles was fuel gauge not working accurately.Tried to make an appt at Toyota CV, but failed. Decided to wander in at noon and see if I could get a date and time to solve fuel gauge. Meet and greet were excellent and in a few minutes I was talking with Sergio about the vehicle.Shared that a fuel pump recall had been a previous issue(documented by Toyota and CarFax). TOY bought back the vehicle, replaced fuel pump, added time to warranty.Once the vehicle got into TCV shop, Lee N, the tech had seen this issue before. Some factory pump replacements failed to reset the fuel send gauge. Reset and fuel gauge was back to health.I did wait a couple of hours until my car got diagnosed, but, I had patience to get this thing resolved ASAP. Lee and Sergio had the car in, out and washed in approx 45 minutes. Everyone at this dealership had a smile, you being helped?, need a desk and outlet to charge your laptop?, service is taking care of you?.Shhhh, keep this between us. Im getting them doughnuts this morning. CHEERS Toyota Chula Vista!

HORRIBLE !!! BUYER BEWARE !!! NEW VEHICLE NOW 2 YEARS OLD 11,000 miles now. Has been repainted three times as they can’t get it done correctly, service reps smoking pot in my vehicle! The GM ROB Gins is the worst and it has definitely created a terrible dealership with his inability to satisfy customers. He’s not the only person with a problem. DO YOUR RESEARCH !! By the way I paid for my vehicle in full they got their money and I got a MESS!! ONCE AGAIN BUYER BEWARE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH !!! If I could give no stars I would. Pictures don’t lie !! The photos below show how I received my 4Runner back after they repainted it. Any ethical and moral corporation that has an upset customer would not go online and say foolish things to exacerbate the situation. I haven’t tarnished your 17 years in the industry, the pictures I just sent show that what you wrote is NOT true! I have had my Tacoma 4x4 for 25 years. Until my last two visits it seemed all my issues weren’t being totally addressed. Steven Sanchez and his team of mechanics have done a phenomenal job. They have found issues others have overlooked or ignored. I want to thank them for their dedication to do things right. I don’t know who the mechanics are, but I hope this gets to them. Stephen Sanchez is a standup guy and I trust him to treat me right. Thank you
A quick drive up into the dealership for having your Toyota serviced. Oil change fee is reasonable. Enjoy a free cup of coffee while you wait in the lobby which is passed the service counters. Vending machines available. Comfortable sofa chairs and a large television to watch the morning news. Stop by the auto accessory store if youre in need of a special item for your Toyota. I recommend booking your service appointment on their Toyota Chula Vista website before showing up!

I have been happy Toyota customer for the last 9 years. However, I am highly disappointed today for the following series of events:1.- LACK OF CAPACITY PLANNING - Left my car for maintenance and ended up staying overnight because we were not able to got it it today2.- LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL - among the 5 things I pointed out to the service rep was to fix a rattle in the bed of the truck. I event went to point the exact scree that was loose. Well, 2 minutes after leaving the dealer I noticed the screw was loose.3. LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE - I wrote twice to Toyota (main page and Service Manager) to find out NO response whatsoever.I would expect to (1) receive better service and (2) avoid other customers to go through this type of events.
Very slow service. I made an appointment thinking that would make it easy to get an oil change. Two and a half hours later I am still waiting for service I expected would take an hour at most. I asked the service manager how much longer and he said, sit down in the lobby and Ill call you. This will be the last time I come here.

I am not happy today. I have an appointment for 9 AM but came in at 8:40 AM hoping that coming early will speed up my waiting time. I just came in for a tire rotation and by 10AM it was not even started yet. What is the use of having an appointment when they dont respect it. I dont know if Im still going there. I just asked the attendant to pull my car out and go home without the tire rotation.
I live in the North San Diego County, but I drove all the way to Chula Vista because of their selection and low prices. Closer dealerships were angering me off because of their price marks ups or their lies about inventory. I bought my RAV4 here for thousands of dollars less than what another dealer offered, and I got the color that I wanted. With the Toyota shortage, dealers are getting away with some serious mark ups. There were no mark ups at Toyota CV though. The service here is typical. No matter where you buy a car, always be prepared to sit around for a few hours. In the end though, I drove home happily in my new RAV4.
I decided to give Chula Vista Toyota a 2nd chance since they are so close to my home. Once again I am left waiting all day when I had an appointment for the morning. I arrived at 9:30 and went to check on my car at 11:30 to be told I still have seven cars in front of me. After asking how that is possible, the employee leaves and comes back saying he moved my car to be next in line. I appreciated it, but it shouldn’t have been that way to begin with. I finally left the shop at 1pm.. I don’t even want to imagine how much longer I would have had to wait if they did the “seven” cars before mine.
We have been taking our Toyota’s to the Chula Vista dealership. All the time we have worked well with Chris Lora Valdez. He knew very well what an excellent customer service is and we really appreciate it. The patience, knowledge and understanding is always outstanding. Don’t get me wrong - Toyota’s service are always great, but Chris has this calm demeanor that you know your vehicle will always be taken care of. He will not take advantage of you ... old vehicle or not so old one... his honesty is always welcome. That is what we customers always look for. Thank you.
The service section is absolutely fraud, they gave me false multipoint inspection. I did a regular maintenance on 3rd of August 2021 with them, and they supposedly checked my tire thread. In their inspection it came out 8/32 but I compared with my lexus inspection done on 29th of March 2021 which showed 7/32. Last time I checked, tire thread wears with time, so the amount should have gone down, not up. They also didnt do the rotation but showed in the inspection that they did. I checked the tires today with Discount Tires and the tire thread came out 4/32 (in one month it went down to 4????). It doesnt make sense how Lexus tire thread inspection had less (7/32) and in 5 months grew to 8/32 looool. Complete fraud, now I doubt their total inspection. Dont go there!!!!

When to this location for service since 2017, had no problems until now. Such terrible experience at Toyota Chula Vista this time. The service advisor Joseph Chavez lied to us for 2 weeks, he never ordered the new parts for our car, however he said they are coming. And even 3 days ago, he said it was at San Jose, Really great lier. Within the two weeks, we tried to communicate with him on the status of the car and also the part orders. However, he tried to avoid our calls. I called him many times, he never picked up my call. I even called the main service line to left a message and let him call me back, still no return call at all. Once I switched a phone number to call him, he picked it up right away. ( wow).On the day we picked up our car, he still tried to lie saying they changed the parts. I even showed him the exactly scratches we had before. He still saying they installed a new part. Then his manager came out and verified the order detail and said they never ordered any part.How can you trust a person to work on your cars while they lies on you the whole time, and try to avoid your calls?
Mario was able to help us with a recall issue the same day. We went in, we were helped right away and the truck was finished before promised and even washed. Highly recommended.

Avoid going to Chula Vista Toyota Service Center by all means if you need to get an oil change. I take my car to Toyota dealers routinely for oil changes and have never had so much trouble. Chula Vista Toyota charges more than other dealerships and does not work with the customer at all. To top it off...I had an APPOINTMENT at 12pm for my car to be seen and it took THREE AND A HALF HOURS for them to do the oil change. Three and a half hours for an oil change that I was going to have to wait there for! Im a Mom of 3....I dont have time for that. Who does?? And I MADE AN APPOINTMENT! Poor service time, poor pricing....AVOID!

Good service the only thing is that my 4 Runner Limited came with Electric Side Steps and Don’t Close after I close the Doors and they say that it Doesn’t do IT every TIME THAT I LEFT my SUV with Them and has been already (5) TIMES and AT 40,000 Miles they have to Replace all the 4 Shocks one was leaking thanks that I bought the EXTENDED WARRANTY I DONT HAVE TO PAY $3,500 I hope the District or General Mgr REED THIS and Do Help?

We shopped around before we settled on where to purchase a 2021 Prius. After dealing with multiple Toyota dealerships, we found that Giovanni Molina, was not only honest and upfront but courteous and efficient. While other dealers were willing to offer rebates, none were as honest and direct as Giovanni. We have purchased cars before, but this was - by far - the best experience weve had. Once we decided, Giovanni came back to the dealership to meet us so that we could get it done that day. He then came back for a 3rd time after realizing that financing was a little behind. He followed up with us and quite simply made the entire process a happy exciting experience!! Definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle!

Went in for the 5000 mile maintenance. Got fast tracked to the front of the line which was perfect because I had a busy day and I needed my car. The service area was in the front so I saw the technicians working on my vehicle. Ms. Tapia was very helpful and her window was very decorative so I didn’t feel like I was at the DMV. The waiting area was open, clean and spacious. Dealership was easy to get to and inside the dealership was easy to navigate.
Quick service visit. Made the appointment online, dropped off my vehicle and they called me within the time that they said they would. There wasnt much to go over since it was my vehicles first schedule maintenance. Overall everyone was attentive and friendly.

After a horrible experience where we walked out of trying to buy a used Honda up at Ocean Honda in San Juan Capistrano we found the very same used car with less miles for a better price at Toyota Chula Vista (yes, we bought our Honda at a Toyota dealership!). From the second we inquired about the used car to dealing with Mark Garcia, our super nice sales person, to the fabulous Finance Manager Mireya Perez we couldn’t have had a better experience at this dealership. They were honest, transparent, not pushy, and incredibly helpful, securing financing at rates even below our credit union and helping us with an extended warranty that we hadn’t thought we could afford. I was blown away at our experience at Toyota Chula Vista, and I highly recommend them for anyone wanting to buy a new or used car. They have definitely won us over as a repeat customer and I look forward to purchasing another used car from them for our college-aged daughter later this season. My wife and I are in the market to buy a 2021 RAV4 Hybrid XSE. We already knew exactly which color and package to get. I initially went online to avoid all the unnecessary dealer salesman tactics and to my dismay still had to deal with poor salesman pitch from other dealerships wanting to waste my time. I’m beginning to feel hopeless until David Nunez and Carlito Alquisola from Toyota Chula Vista help me with our car purchase. These guys made the whole process exactly as I could possibly hope for. They are the best and are so helpful that they communicate with me as I wait impatiently for the delivery (the delay of the vehicle is another story which I’m certain has to do with the car shortage).Long story short, my overall experience with this dealership and staff has exceeded my expectations. Giovanni Molina sold us our car from this dealership. Not only did he offer the most competitive price and financing but was upfront about the cost. He even knew other dealerships and, although we wanted to find out ourselves, he stated that we were welcomed to come back and he would still help us. We did visit 3 nearby dealerships which, quite simply, were a joke. The dealership in National City even refused to give us actual numbers unless we were serious about buying a car. Once they gave us the numbers, we thought they were kidding as the price was inflated and included way more than what we requested. Giovanni was the best option by far!! Definitely recommend him for your car purchase!!

I appreciated the service and care we received for our vehicle. Javier (Assistant Manager, Service Dept) was friendly, helpful and offered great recommendations to me, after we had a trailer hitch installed. He even waited for my late arrival after they had closed, so I could pick up my vehicle, when I couldn’t get a ride in time. This location also offers a Lyft, if you need a ride home, after dropping your vehicle off for service. I would recommend this Toyota Service location.

They kept telling me my car would be ready and then saying it wouldnt be until the next day. They gave me a door ding in one of my doors. I had to call them to ask if my car was finally ready and it sounded like it had been done for a while and was forgotten about. They didnt do any work on it the first day they had it even though it was dropped off at 10 am. I was stuck with a one year old and no way to get anything for her for 2 days. They offered a rental car but I would have to give them my credit card. They had already charged me for things they said were covered by something else, so I felt like I would probably end up spending even more money I didnt have. I spent $1800 to get a door ding and be stranded for 3 days.
I’ve been a loyal customer to Toyota Chula Vista and have always purchased all my Toyota vehicles and done all my car services at this location so I was extremely disappointed in the service I received for my 60,000 mile appointment. First off I had a scheduled appointment for 8:30 am and was not given my car until 1:15PM when I was waiting customer. I was given the run around for the last hour of my appointment being told it was getting a car wash, the dealership was short staffed and the keys needed to be found, and finally that they didn’t know where the car was located. When they finally found my vehicle it was brought without a car wash and from a completely different location. I didn’t appreciate the lack of organization and run around I was given before being told the car was misplaced and not located. It left me with distrust that the service was actually done and or done right.
Worked with Jeovani to buy a new car. The guy didnt play any games, and stood by the price he offered on the phone. He also didnt pressure us into buying anything we didnt want. Although I love my Honda, it felt like we were buying a timeshare at the end with all the upselling. They had us out in just over an hour with the car, couldnt be happier.BTW I went to the Toyota dealership on Mission George after confirming availability and pricing on the phone, and then they tried to play games after I showed up.
