I bought tires and had them mounted here. Tires ride well and where balanced great. The store isnt very organized, and the guy lacks customer service skills, but he is very knowledgeable and knows where everything is in his store. Ive bought a few items there over that last few months also. He has catalogs to go through and can order most things it seems. So long as you arent a wimp, this store is great.

This place is different, when you walk in there is stuff scattered everywhere like literally everywhere. The owner / guy behind the desk lacks customer service but he’s straight to the point true to what he said the price was going to be for a tire change and so far the looks and rides well all in all I’m happy and will buy my front tire there.

These guys are absolutely awesome. I have an 04 sportster that (after they replaced my tires) they found out there was a missing part. The owner helped me hunt down (basically) the only person who has the part I needed in the US. He then offered to install the new part for free. They’ll have my business as long as I’m in Clarksville, and they should have yours!

Bought a rear tire for my bike from Action and the experience was great. I called letting them know the tire size and brand I wanted. They did not have the tire in stock but had it delivered the next day at a great price and the next day shipping was on them!! I took the wheel in where they mounted and balanced and had me out within an hour.

Barry has been doing motorcycles for two careers worth of experience. He provides great insight to any question you may have. They’re a little old fashioned, but that’s fine. If you’re a snowflake, don’t bother because you’ll just get offended in this store. If you want a good deal and great craftsmanship, this is what you’ve been looking for.*7/25/18 update - 2 tires and chain/sprocket replacements later, still the best around. He beat the local MC dealer by $100 on just one of those. Gotta be patient with them, but getting quality work for cheap is nice. Still highly recommend.

Barry is a very busy man and may come across as rude but really he is just only one person doing a 3 person job! As far as the service my husband and I got, it was awesome! The first day we took it there we ordered ISO grips for our Harley and Barry had them there the very next day, they were very reasonable and the labor was reasonable as well!Within 2 days we noticed our bike wasnt charging so we took it back to Action. We had just had the voltage regulator replaced by Harley under warranty so we knew that was ruled out. Danny, the technician, said the starter was ruled out and the battery cell charge was very low. We picked out a high performance battery (we have a trike, so it needed higher cranking amps) and with labor and all it came out to around $180.I dont care what you other guys have said on your reviews, all I know is we had a great experience, good customer service and awesome mechanical work done on our trike! We will return to Action Cycles for any out of warranty work needed for our Harley!! Thanks guys, awesome job!!

I had a rear tire blowout on a multi day trip to Nashville, from Chicago. I was slightly hesitant to go here based on the mixed reviews but they had my tire in stock and were open on Saturday. The owner and mechanic went above and beyond to help us get back on the road, including staying a half hr after they closed to finish the job. They ended up replacing both tires and replaced the rear axle nut. They literally saved the trip. The repairs were done well and the price was very reasonable.

I went to go get my front tire replaced and his mechanic tied my front break line in a knot, causing me wreck on the way from my initial pick up, after filing a police report and contacting my lawyer he offered to replace my break line. Upon him discovering I am military he then offered to fix the damaged caused on the right side fairing to be repainted. Keep in mind this happened 22 June 2018 it is now 28 August 2018 and I am still without a right side fairing. I just recently checked on my part earlier this morning and he lied and said he hasn’t gotten my fairing back when it is sitting in the back room when I noticed it he immediately closed the door! This man is so unprofessional I highly recommend not using his unprofessional shop!

Every other year or so I convince myself to go to Action Cycles just because of the convenience of their location, and each time I tell myself I will never go back. They are rude, slow, and never seem to be able to fix what I bring them. Took my wifes bike to them and they kept it a week and charged me $300 for labor and never fixed the problem. Instead they told me it was a California bike and they couldnt get it to run right.

Don’t expect a hello, please, or thank you. You will get ughs, eye rolls, sighs and byes. Shop is gross, unorganized, smells and falling apart. Quotes are much lower than final bill. I’ve never had or heard of this place having a part I/someone was looking for. Nothing is done with a purpose, they move so slow. You are a burden to this shop and they treat you like it. No manners or politeness here. I drive 30 miles out of my way for parts this place is so bad.

Absolute Worst!! We are racers we were driving through town on or way to a race and needed a part we couldnt find. We got there at 0830 in the morning which is an hour and a half before he opened we were on our way to AL and were calling and checking every place we could to get our bike up before the race. When we arrived they were there but were moving bikes around and doing inventory. I knew they didnt open until 10 but hoped they could tell me if they had the part. I was meet by the door by the owner who shortly told me that they didnt open until 10 and would not help me before that, I quickly asked about the part and he said maybe then walked away. I went back to the truck and waited. The inside of the store looked like a horders house everything piled in there everywhere very small and zero organization, normally i would have left but surely he would not keep me waiting if he didnt have the part. So at about 5 till 10 i walked over by the door he looked up at me with a scowl and went back to doing what he was doing moving bikes around etc, 10 came and went at 1020 he finally said you can come in now like I was a bother and pestering him, which I wasnt I completely stayed out of the way. He said what do you want again, so I told him......10 seconds later he says nope dont have it. I just starred at him for a second, shook my head in disbelief and walked away. So if you like being treated like a POS and your not important and like having your time wasted then this is the shop. STAY AWAY!!!!!

It goes like this folks, Barry keeps a short staff and low overhead to save YOU! Money, he is also the ONLY! Metric shop in town that doesnt double as a dealer, so yeah he can be a bit cranky, yeah your order might not make it in a timely manner, but you will get the best parts, honest recommendations and advice ( even if it hurts) and the best job possible to fix what you cant. If you want the glitz and glamor, the lies and excuses, and trumped up prices take your metric bikes to jpm or mid south and leave Barry and action cycles alone, your complaining and griping delay the rest of us riders who understand his situation, from getting back on the road. If your not a metric rider I recommend Watsons down the road.

It seemed that they made sure that I was THE vary last person they checked out that day.!!!! Just because I didnt buy the tires there!! and they made that very clear!!That is great motivation for me to deal with them in the future, dont-ya-think!??

Just dont be sensitive about the no nonsense and blunt communication. These guys deserve a lot more respect for the work they do. The worst of the worst! I bought a tire from there as an emergency replacement. After I purchased the tire and went home, I saw that the tire was manufactured 3807, (The 38th week of 2007) A 10 YEAR OLD TIRE STILL ON THE SHELF THAT WAS DISCONTINUED YEARS AGO. When I returned for a refund, the owner was very adamant on doing so. He then told me no refunds would be accepted, without a receipt, which I had and that there would be a 20% restock fee plus and additional 2.2% due to the fact that it was a debit card purchase. I ended up getting a partial refund with all the fees added. I pretty much gave him $50 ish for free! I would rather drive all the way to Nashvilles dealership rather than drive 10 minutes up the road!

Drop my bike 16 April 15 at action cycle and have them change my valve cover gasket and thats including the gasket for the spark plug then I pick my bike the following day. After i clean the area where they had the job done I decided to take it for a road test to see if the seal is working. After the road test i park the bike then I notice that there is a huge leak coming out in a little hole under the exhaust port on the engine block so, the following day I went back to action cycle and tell them that my bike have a massive leak and show them where its coming from and they said they will check it out. came back and ask them whats wrong the owner said that its the oil line and told me that he can order a part for it but on that point of time I know they dont know what they talking about so I decided to bring it home and check it my self and confirm that the leak is coming from the little hole next to the engine block exhaust port. They cant even put my flaring back in the right way. Its either they know what they doing but dont take time to do the job right or they really dont know what they doing. I suggest that go to the right motorcycle shop even if they cost a bit expensive but guaranteed that they can do the job right. learn my mistake trying to spent less but in the end I spent double and plus the inconvenience. I actually wanna give give them a -3 star coz the owner is trying to say that its been like that said that I havent notice it. Think twice before you decide to bring your bike and have it fix at this place....

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. Before moving to the area I rode my motorcycle from 500 miles away to find a house for my family. My tire pressure was low and thought Id stop by check out the shop and see if I could get my tire pumped up. They were very rude and acted like I was stupid for asking. I havent been there in 3 years and finally thought Id stop in to buy some parts for my bike since they are only 2 miles from my house but left empty handed despite them having what I needed in stock because they where so rude and didnt seem to want to sell the parts to me. I will never walk through their door again and will warn every one I see against them. There are several other bike shops in the area that are far superior to them and are worth the few extra bucks or waiting for them to order something. Cycle Gear is only an hour ride south east and are worth the trip for riding gear.

The store was very dirty, dingy, and disorganized. The personnel were very hands off and when they did interact with me, they were very terse. I was only there to browse while a friend was having a radio set installed on his helmet. When my friend asked a question about the radio set he had just bought at their store he was told Youll have to read the instructions. I am giving this two stars because they do have a lot of product in stock, even though I wouldnt recommend their business.

Absolutely the worst customer service of any place I have given my business. The two old guys that work the counter are constantly tripping over each other looking for the same part for the same customer. If you are buying anything less than $10 bring cash because they arent willing to swipe your debit card because the lose money on small purchases I went into look for a part, one of the guys told me he had one but I would have to give him time to find it in the back. I gave him the whole day and when I went to pick it up he was sitting at the counter and told me he didnt have time to look. They are only friendly when you are spending a coupld hundred bucks. I was very impressed with their mechanic when I spoke with him but I would rather pay a little bit more and get treated like a valued customer. Dont waste your time with these jokers.
