Extra Space Storage on 70W in Clayton was fantastic. Everything is kept very clean and organized. Multiple options to load and unload. Huge covered area to pull all sizes of trucks/cars for load/unload. 10/10 will use this location again if I need another storage unit.

I have rented from Extra Space Storage in Virginia and now in North Carolina. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The storage units are very large and accommodate my needs. The rental process is very easy it can be done online or over the phone.

Extra Space Storage in Clayton has been a great storage facility the last year and a half. My husband and I moved to Clayton over a year ago and were in a panic on where to store our belongings. The staff has been so great and got us a unit so quickly with such amazing prices! Highly highly recommend this storage facility!

This is my first time ever renting a storage unit! Absolutely amazing facility, friendly and very helpful staff. The loading ramp area is very nice with plenty of flat carts to load up and deliver items to our unit. We can also go in a different door which is on the same level of our unit. Highly recommend this facility. Convenient location and easy in/out.

Awesome location, and superior staff. I accidentally forgot to slide my latch before locking up my unit, and one of their managers noticed during routine a walkthrough. He called and left me a message informing.I love that my stuff is indoors, they have 3 floors, an elevator, carts, nice management, and auto draft. When I upgraded my unit size, they even made sure it was not far from my old unit to make moving easy. (Granted I was lucky they still had units near my old one.)I highly recommend this location.

Extra Space Storage is extremely clean and safe. There are plenty of carts for easy transportation of items from your vehicle to your unit. The best is the overhang. It can easily fit 2-4 cars so even on rainy days you can move your items without worrying about getting them or you wet. The front office makes signing up so easy too!!

Best place in Clayton to store a wide range of your household or business belongings. The staff is incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable on their units available and on a customers’ storage needs. I highly recommend this place!!!The hours hours of access are plentiful and office hours are right inline with normal business hours. There are 3 levels of storage with units ranging from a closet size comparison to that of a three car garage. Super clean storage facility, well lite, and most importantly air condition !!!!!

This is a great facility. I’ve used it multiple times under the previous name but now that Extra Space has bought them it is smooth and easy to get the unit you want. The lady helping was fantastic and really went above and beyond.

From my first visit to the website, to my phone conversation with Kaylee, to meeting Ken for my walkthrough and paperwork, all of it was a great experience in customer service. I brought my first boxes over today. The facility is easy to use while being secure at the same time. Carts are available to help with storing your items. They also have locks and moving boxes/supplies you can purchase. They make things very easy for the customer. They have a plastic shield by the check out which is great. I’m in the high risk group for COVID, so my only regret is that they are not wearing face masks. They did respectfully stay 6 ft. from me when possible. I wish this relatively new storage facility the best of luck in the future.
