Not only was the unit clean, it smelled so much better compared to the facilities we just moved from! We also enjoyed the music that was playing for a little entertainment during the process!!

Nice facility and the manager, Jason, is nice enough. The downside is the corporate pricing policies.First of all, you cannot count on the pricing, if you are looking for a new rental. The price on the website can and does change daily by as much as 10 or 20%. So, if you find that they have an introductory price that works for you today, you MUST get the space reserved or get the price in writing. Otherwise, it could change in the time it takes you to get over to their office.Then, if you do rent a space from Extra Space, you should be prepared to lock in the rental amount for as long as you intend to keep the unit. Generally, this means prepaying for a year or so. This seems to be the ONLY way to lock in a rental rate.If you choose to pay monthly, you should expect that your rent will go up EVERY QUARTER of every year you keep the space. They will continue to raise the rent every quarter until you finally get disgusted and decide to move your stuff out. For example, our rent DOUBLED in about a year and a half. They take advantage of the fact that many people will put up with several increases so that they dont have to move their stuff.Unfortunately, this sleazy practice now occurs with many companies in several industries.

This is my second time using Extra Space Storage. Really like that they retain their employees. Shows a company that cares. Jason, was my contact both time. Hes always professional and helpful. The first time my furniture was in storage for 4 months. There was no damage to them & no bugs when I moved out. I highly recommend Extra Storage.

Good help who let me make sure my kayaks would fit before renting. Add to that a great deal as this place is about 2.5 times the size of my prior rental at a competitor for a minor additional expense really sealed the deal.

I started renting a 10 x 20 at Extra Space Storage before we actually moved to Florida, upon the (Jason) managers suggestion. Upon arrival in Florida, he was very helpful getting us situated in our unit. He has helped us, being out of towners, with the unit, pointing us in the right direction when we needed to dispose of things at the dump.He was so helpful in fact that we chose Extra Space for a 2nd storage for a short time.Jason is quite happy to see his customers when they come into the store for anything from tape to renting a unit.

I had a unit here for several years and my experience was nothing but positive. The climate control on the inside units is a big plus by keeping your books and clothing from getting that musty smell.A notice is always sent to remind you when your rent is becoming due and should you forget you will get courtesy call. Jason, the property manager is a great guy, very helpful, attentive and friendly and is always in a good mood.The location on US 19 is very convenient and even during the last hurricane everything stayed high and dry.If you are looking to store your belongings in the Clearwater area I would highly recommend Extra Space Storage

I reserved a space online solely due to outside appearances, price and convenience of the location. I wasnt disappointed. The property is much cleaner and well maintained than others that Ive been to. The area this facility is located in is good so I had no worries about safety while making late night drop-offs. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

I recommend this place. Very clean and the price is really good! They even have cheap insurance to cover, protect and replace it for a very low cost a month. And most important, Andy is great, he really do an amazing job and he will make the whole process fun!

I got an indoor 5x10 here the other day and the place is great. Its clean and everything looked sharp and well maintained. The place has reliable access almost all the time. It was easy to drive a moving truck right up, have a moving team unload everything into the space, and leave. There is plenty of space to handle the truck as there are two gates so you can drive it straight through. Workers are attentive and friendly, able to help get me set up right away. Its a good price for the unit too so overall, its been a great experience so far.

Jason was super friendly and made it an ease to get set up. He helped me get a unit inside away from the exterior walls where it was a little warmer. The facility is very clean and since it is right off US 19 it feels like my items will be secure and safe. They have security cameras and a gate keypad to control entry to the units.

This is a very nice place and kept clean. The gentleman that helped us at the desk was very friendly and helpful, even though we came to arrange a storage at the end of the Saturday workday.Easy access to upper levels with large elevators and carts available to use to transport boxes and other things.I only wish that the price of storage didnt cost so much. Its everywhere though so cant complain that, I suppose.

I recently rented a 10 x 10 storage unit at Extra Space Storage and I feel great about the safetyand security of my furniture! They explained how theyve never had a flood because of the waythe streets are angled to channel the rain water to drain properly. The property is clean and theresa security gate where you key in your code to get in only one vehicle at a time. Theres no way twovehicles at a time can go into the property which is a great feature! The personnel staff are friendlyand professional and prompt with their services. You will leave there with a smile on your face!The prices are very competitive! The first month is free! Very impressed! We have 2 units here and couldnt be happier. The units, as well as, the entire facility is well kept and clean at all times. The staff here are extremely helpful and go over and above to make your experience a positive one, especially Andy! We would recommend Extra Space to anyone who needs storage space for short or long term use. We feel our belongings are safe here and above all, the customer service is outstanding.

Let me tell you, thank you Jason for making my day. I went around searching for a mattress pad cover to no avail. Not even walmart had any in stock at the time. I Thought let me check with extra space self storage... down the road for a last ditch effort. As I walked up to the door I could see the mattress cover within distance, boom... door closed with a sign reading be back around 2:30.. as I was about to leave disappointed Jason rushed out of his car (must of just left the office) and asked me if he could help. He got me all squared away within 2 mins... most employees would’ve just let me drive off or not even cared enough to ask if I needed help. I got a great climate-controlled 10x10 unit for a very fair price. I looked at a number of Extra Spaces competitors units and their prices and ExtraSpace was the best. The staff was knowledgeable and great to deal with it. There are two very convenient entrances and plenty of entry-room for a big vehicle (I came in with a moving truck). I highly recommend this Extra Space Storage facility.

Update 8/18/18: arrived to storage with moving company today to find everything, EVERYTHING covered in rodent urine and droppings. Extremely disappointed at response received when brought up to management/corporate office. “We should have put down traps” and “contact the insurance.” Instead of unpacking to our new location we now have to open every single box/item, lysol everything and search for rodents that maybe living in our stuff. 0 stars if possible. Would not recommend this place.
