Good prices and many different units to choose from. Climate controlled is nice too. My only complaints are they require you to purchase their insurance and the bankers hours they are open. Hard to get to when I work the same hours theyre open.

My daughter and her boyfriend had recently moved out of their apartment and were waiting for the new apartment to open so for the mean time they needed a storage unit and found that at extra closet. The pricing was amazing. I truly didnt believe that the unit could be so cheap considering it was climate controlled. The office staff was both courteous and very helpful. They offered help in the form of a dolly or cart and even held the door open for us. I was so impressed that Im sitting here in the car after closing out our account and writing the best review I can think of. I cant praise this facility enough. The total experience made our stressful move just that much nicer and alot easier. Thank you to the whole clearwater staff. You really are a pillar in this community.

There was a good selection of sizes and prices to choose from and they were very friendly and helpful. It was easy and quick and we were able to move some items in right away. Very Good.

This place is very clean and affordable. More than anytime the staff is amazing!!! The manager is so helpful there for everything I needed even had to add another unit. The hours are different then most units I have had which at first I didnt like. Then I realized I really liked it I know the staff is there my stuff is safe. This place is awesome I highly recommend for anyone looking for short term or long term storage!!! They will do whatever they can to help you!!

Great facilityHowever, price quoted was not finalprice. 19 $ admin fee and 12$ ins urancefee, ok. But price was adjusted to 10 $ more than was quoted over phone.

I have rented from Extra Closet for over 10 years. I have clients who need storage but are out of the country so part of my job is to care for their things. Extra Closet was the solution and the guys that run the front office are great. Always a friendly face and fun to chat with so I do always recommend this storage space. Good pricing also; not subject to how many spaces are used that particular month which will determine the monthly fees for new people. What they tell you the price is; thats the price!

I moved from another storage to rent a unit here. The management there is great!! I got my unit at half the cost of my old one and they work with me for deliveries from UPS to my unit. I would highly recommend!!!

I needed a Uhaul. The manager here was kind,patient,and very informative.Even though he did not have the truck I needed he was able to reserve a truck at a different location for me. His customer service was what sparked my interest to also inquire about their storage facility and pricing. After another short informative conversation, I decided on a unit here as well. I have just started using Extra Closet Storage, and it has been a great experience so far! I looked up most information online but once I came in to set everything up all of my questions were answered thoroughly (I had a lot) and they were very nice and helpful. I am a college student and this is perfect to store all of the things that cant fit in my shared apartment.

Hi Extra Closet is one of the most friendly, economic and exceptional storage facility. The manager I believe it is Bob now is great. I have been there since 2016 and the staff is the best. I could not be happier.

Generally speaking, I was very satisfied with my experience with Extra Closet Storage. The only drawback were the hours of operation. I would have liked more availability and I had to plan ahead to access my unit due to limited hours.

The Manager was so helpful! I needed a little extra time because my movers were running late and he graciously kept his business open an extra 30 minutes. They dont cheat you on prices like everyone else. The facility is very clean and bright.

I have rented storage units in the past because of traveling for work and all. We moved from Nashville to Clearwater. When we arrived our new home was not going to be ready for another week or 2 because of our closing being pushed back. We needed storage quick. The staff here helped us with what size was the right size and gave us the first month free because of our troubles we were going through. When we finally were able to move in to our new home we were able to rent another truck here and the manager even stayed a little late because we were so slow due to the heat that we are not acclimated too yet. Great facility,staff,and location.

I will never go to another storage facility. My living situation changed drastically the other day, and left me with little to no time to figure things out. I chose Extra Closet Storage because it was close to where I was living. I had a moving company coming to pick up my things at 4, and the manager Joshua told me they closed at 4. But he could tell I’d been having a rough day, and offered to come back and open the door so I could get my things in storage. You don’t know how much that meant to me. I’m forever grateful for your kindness. The units are in air conditioning and over all the whole facility looks clean and sanitary. I highly recommend you consider this place for your storage needs.

I wonder if people were paid to write 5 stars reviews about this place? Honestly, this place is disgusting. We saw mouse pop all over our boxes and the smell of the storage is horrible.

We had need of lots of storage while my husband and I were house hunting in the Clearwater area. Joshua was wonderful in working with us long distance to help us figure out exactly how many units we did need. His calculations were spot on! I must say, too, that he was wonderfully supportive in helping us solve the many problems we encountered during our move from Texas to Florida. Ill never make that kind of move again, but if I ever do, I sure hope to find another Joshua!Doing business with him has been a continual delight and I highly recommend this location for all your business and personal storage needs! You simply cant go wrong with them!

20 days have gone by since I signed up, paying in full for a month at that point. Ive been contacted six times since then about payment - received two phone calls and four emails with several different due dates and late fee mentions and amounts I owe. VERY Confusing, no one repairs it, and I get another contact with different amounts due and another late fee. I havent even moved anything IN it and Im getting late fees?(Plus, when I moved in, I made it clear that for personal reasons they shouldnt contact me directly, Id come in or call to make my payments.)I cant entrust my items to people who could so easily mistake me for someone who is late on paying for my unit. I might find my things seized and sold despite paying on time!So, instead, I asked for a refund, due to all the confused ball of mess and sending collections-style late notices. They refused my refund request.I avoid people who wont answer customer service questions and refuse to offer refunds to unhappy customers.

They asked me to leave a review not sure who he was but ok heres your review. My boxes with my children items got ruined because of flooding. Their insurance I had to have doesn’t cover “flood” but it was their building that leaked. Items are ruined. Girl in office no help.
