As usual they had everything I needed with one exception some of their fruit was a little aged out other than that dependable as always

I liked my trip to Food Lion today. I dont usually shop here but I went in bc it was close to another stop I had to make. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection and prices. I will be back and look forward to trying their Food Lion brands. I also loved how clearly WIC items were labeled👍

I LOVE this Food Lion. Its always very clean and the employess are very friendly. On one occassion a manager overheard me asking cashier about having beets. The manager stopped what she was doing and went in the back and got me some....they were just delivered. #customerservice

Chicken and beef was stocked at 6:00pm. Sometimes on Sunday at this time of day it is not, but this time it was. Awesome!!

Pretty good grocery store for most part... my only complaint is that newbie employees need to go to how to bag groceries school before being allowed to bag groceries!

Im giving the people - the managers, grocery clerks, cashiers, stockers the 5 stars. This Food Lion has some of the nicest, friendliest people Ive come across in any store. Moved here 13 years ago from New Jersey, went shopping on an early Sunday morning and was blown away by the genuine smiles and greetings. They have remained friendly and helpful all these years. Having said that, this company is owned by a Belgian firm, and youd believe they would treat their employees better. A family member worked for FL for 2 years, barely more than minimum wage, frequently cut hours, terrible insurance. Right now, in these pandemic times, workers that have been at risk are sent home without pay. Corporate Food Lion does not treat their cashiers, stockers, lower managment in a fair manner.

This store is never really all that crowded, which I like! I did see toilet paper on the shelf this afternoon, albeit there were only a few packages of one brand. They are observing all the standard social distancing recommendations right now: separate doors for entering/exiting, marked directions for the aisles, plexiglass between customer and cashier, floor markings for 6-foot intervals at checkout lanes, cleaning the carts, etc.

Good food lion inside a convenient location. Broad parking lot structure. Like the store. Good variety of products. I like the franchise. Everything always looks cleans. It has a costumer service desk. Theres a coin star machine and a primo water jug dispenser outside.

Nice store. Went a hour before closing so the environment was relaxing considering how much I had to get. Meat selection was great. And everything that was advertised was available.

I want to give higher stars to this food lion! We drive out of our way to this store, because it is usually nicer and has more selections than the food lion that is 2 minutes from our house. But yesterday my husband and I were shopping and went to walk down an isle and a group of people (looked late teens/early 20s ) were just standing in the middle of the isle. As we walked toward them, they quickly turned to walk the other way but were smoking one of those electronic cigarettes or some device and as we got closer out eyes started burning and we couldnt breath. We had to turn around quickly and walk away (not getting what we needed)This is horrible to allow in stores! What are people thinking and why is this allowed!??

Went shopping there 2/12/19 about 6:ish. The young cashier which regrettably dont know her name, was super friendly. (I do know she has a 14 mo old child) Store was very clean and it has always been my favorite among all the Food Lions in Winston Salem. The young friendly cashier just gave it extra points.

Love this clean, friendly store. It has been updated and so has the quality. Only problem is the meat department can no longer cut or tenderize meat. Corporate took the machines away. Have to buy meat at another store.

Been a few times to cash my paycheck there when I was switching banks and waiting to get direct deposit, but every time I had the same cashier and she would noticeably make it seem like I was inconveniencing her. I went today and it was her and I believe a manager, when I walked in she rolled her eyes at me and walked off. I handed my check to the Male employee, he looks at it and simply says we cant cash it, its not dated for today (even though Ive cashed post dated checks at multiple FL stores) and he wouldnt give me a reason as to why. So I went a couple miles down the street to another FL and they cashed it no problem. Maybe they should find a new line of work for themselves, since dealing with customers isnt their strong point.

This Food Lion has been recently upgraded. They have decent quality produce, good organic and natural food selections and good prices for the area. Great location right off Stratford Rd and near I-40. They do have good local products and brands, a ♿ handicap accessible restroom and parking.

Im almost afraid to say that I took pride in shopping here. What I witnessed in the parking lot today and from what I was hearing the police was called here because 4 boys were being disrespectful and loud. The police had those boys handcuffed and on the ground until their mothers came. That is so beyond messed up. You mean to tell me no one in Food Loin was grown enough to handle it a different way?

One customer walked in with no mask and not stopped.

I usually like it there, except for this one rude cashier. Stood around not waiting on people in growing line. Had to be told to do her job. Didnt say a word to me, carried on side conversation whole time. I see her there often. Dont know how she still has a job there. Too bad, since I have a good shopping experience otherwise.
