These guys replaced my clutch and were communicative and professional every step of the way.That aside, I’m unsure if they do anything other than major repairs. Have called and left messages for an oil change but no one has returned my calls.

A friend recommended Six Star Motors to me when I first moved to VT 3 years ago and my partner and I have both been taking our cars there ever since and couldnt be happier. Tim is an excellent mechanic, very fair and honest, and wont try to sell you work you dont need. His prices are very reasonable, he explains everything clearly, and I have always been very happy with his work. He only works on Japanese cars and is a Subaru expert in particular. Just started taking my car to Six Stars Motors and I am very pleased with the service. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. They clearly explained to me what they had done and what would needed to be done in the future.

After having nothing but problems with Burlington Subaru, I was recommended this place by a friend. Tim was great and I was very happy with the work he did. I will only be going to this place from now on to have my Subaru worked on.

Tim does good work at a good price. If youve got a Subaru, this is the place to go. You dont feel like hes trying to put one over on you, he is always very up from and open about what goes into the price of the service.

Amazing mechanic! Ive never owned a vehicle that has run better for longer. He keeps my Subaru Outback in tip top shape! There havent been any sudden stressful sudden repairs ever since I trusted it to Tims skilled hands. I always struggled to find an honest, straightforward mechanic. However, that frustration is a thing of the past since Six Star Motors has my back and is going to continue being amazing bc its an excellent business!Also it took me over a year, but I finally realized that there are six stars in Subarus logo. I discovered a gem of a Subaru repair shop this week: Six Star Motors. I spoke with Charlie who was patient with me, answered my multiple questions, injected a good deal of humor into the situation (because, lets face it, fixing your car sucks), and gave me tremendous peace of mind. I highly recommend this business. These guys know what theyre doing, and know how to communicate with honesty and professionalism with a potentially naive customer base.

I recently purchased a vehicle that was inspected 4/2019. After the exhaust clearly failed 2 months later, I brought it to a mechanic not far from where I work. I was shown the cracks in the tires, the rust along the entire exhaust system, the faulty breaks, and the rot from the front end to the back end. The car was only driven 3000 miles between the inspection and the time of purchase. Im eternally grateful that the tires didnt blow out while I was driving and that no one - including myself - was injured while driving this extremely unsafe car.DO NOT bring your vehicles here for inspection unless you know you need to screw someone over. You might not even get the chance to as the DMV is currently looking into this joke of a shop.

These guys are top notch mechanics. They have tons of experience, and understand the practicalities of Vermont driving. Theyre not only courteous, professional and technical, theyre local and they give a damn about your car and your safety through proper maintenance and quality service.

Great mechanic. Perfect if you are a subaru driver. Fair prices and quality work.

They do very good work at a reasonable price and can usually see me pretty quickly. The only thing that keeps it from being five stars is that every time Ive been there Ive had to go out back to find someone to help me up front, even with there being a buzzer on the door. That doesnt really detract from the experience too much for me, but its just something to note that if you just need to drop off and leave quickly dont be afraid to poke your head into the garage and ask for some help. Very helpful, fast turn around and good prices.My car had been going there its whole life before Id bought it from its previous owner, and when I initially called about the issue I was having the guy on the phone after hearing the make and model asked Oh, was this (owners name)s car? Thats a great car - really well taken care of! which really gave me the extra push to go there rather than shopping around, knowing they actually remembered it even after some time away.

Their website says they service all makes and models. Called to make an appointment as they’re right next to my work and they would not service my vehicle because it’s not a Subaru, Honda or Toyota. Inconvenient and they should probably update their website.
