In a word, Dr. Kelley is AMAZING! She is one of the very few optometrists Ive ever known, who actually does a thorough examination ... and I mean THOROUGH!She took her time diagnosing my unique eye issues, and actually LISTENED to me. It was clear that she cared, and truly did her level best to get the correct prescription. AND shes very personable. For once, I didnt feel like a cow being herded and rushed through the exam.She and her warm and wonderful staff bend over backward to cater to their customers every need. All I can say is: Ive FINALLY found an optometrist I want to stick with!

Dr. Kelley and staff are awesome. The staff is friendly and efficient, and in 30+ years of wearing glasses/contacts, I’ve never had a more thorough exam. Time with Dr. Kelley is not rushed and she pays attention to what is going on with each individual. Dr. Kelley sees 3 of my kids as well.

Dr. Kelley is attentive and thorough. We’ve always had good experiences there, and the entire staff is helpful and friendly throughout the entire appointment. I dropped my glasses and scratched the lenses on Friday. I called today to find out when I had my last eye exam. The receptionist was so rude. At all the other Optometrists offices I have been to, the eye exam is good for 2 years. At this office the exam is only good for 1 year. I tried asking her three times if my perscription was still good so I could get my lenses replaced or new glasses somewhere else. She would not answer the question and kept snapping at me.I asked her if she was okay and if she was having a good day. She said yes and hung up on me. I had a great first visit here with staff and the doctor but will not be returning after this very shocking and rude phone conversation.

Finally Ive found an eye doctor who takes the time to be thorough and explain what my problems are, and give me solutions for them. Dr. Kelley was very personable and competent. My visit went very nicely and smoothly, with lot of attention from very nice professionals. The selection of glasses covered by insurance pleasantly surprised. And a very important detail - my toddler was happily busy in kids corner all the time!

Wonderful doctor and assistant who were nice to talk to, knowledgeable and explained all results fully, and found the best frames that fit me well. I noticed they even have a selection of frames for kids, and all shapes and sizes of faces. All around a great experience and will certainly return again and again for me and my family.

This time the team listened carefully to my description of vision changes and came up with a plan to address. You cant trust your vision to a more professional team.

Toward the end of the last school year, my 8 year old daughter started complaining of blurry vision and also seeing double. She saw her regular eye doctor who confirmed that she was having problems with her vision and diagnosed her with Convergence Insufficiency disorder, and, referred us to a couple of specialists in the local area who could provide us with the vision therapy that she needs. We were told by the eye doctor that therapy is the best treatment for this condition and depending on the severity of the disorder can take months to correct. Summer just started and we really wanted to hit this hard so that our daughter would be ready for the next school year.We called Northgate Vision and Dr. Kelley and Maria got us in right away for the assessment. My husband and I watched Dr. Kelley go through the assessment and saw how over time, our daughter was having more difficulty performing the exercises. Dr. Kelley did confirm the blurry and double vision and because of the double vision considers this severe. She estimated it could take 4-6 months of therapy sessions to correct. This was alarming to me. I just didnt know how much progress we would make over the summer and then the difficulty of trying to get appointments in during the school year. Dr. Kelley worked with me on scheduling 2 appointments a week during the summer. She treated us like we were top priority! Being a 1 doctor office, that is really hard to do! She also sent home some items for our daughter to practice the vision exercises. We kept all of our appointments and worked with our daughter on doing the eye homework. My daughter made huge progress and significantly improved her vision in a very short period of time. Dr. Kelley gave her a prescription for reading glasses and we ended the therapy appointments the end of August with a follow-up appointment in September. I am amazed at how successful this work was, given it seemed like a daunting task to me. I attribute this success to Dr. Kelleys expertise, thorough work, and, how great she is with kids! My daughter loved seeing Dr. Kelley and enjoyed her appointments. We have since enrolled our daughter in gymnastics which she loves, and, Dr. Kelley said is also very good for exercising the eyes. We are so grateful to Dr. Kelley and Maria for helping us with this very important effort! I cant say enough good things about our experience with Northgate Vision and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services!!!!!!
