Such a great clinic! The staff and eye technician that first assisted me was so nice and personable! The exam was quick, easy, and to the point -- and the doctor was also very nice. I needed new glasses and Marianne is the ABSOLUTE BEST! She is so sweet and has an amazing eye for glasses that fit your face shape, personality, and style! I ended buying the pair she picked out for me which happened to be the very first pick. Ive never had such a smooth and easy time picking out glasses like I did with Marianne! Very happy with my visit and my new glasses from Visionworks.

Sorry to say I will not go back. They offer additional items when getting a eye exam which I declined up front. But when I was with the Dr. She refused to let it go to the extant of asking if I wanted to go blind. Really who does that? I felt like I was being bullied into something. No means no!

100% love this place. Used to go to eye glass world because of my insurance but since I switched this is my go to place from now on. Staff is super friendly and actually very helpful. From the time I walked in to the time I walked out/ to even picking up my glasses its the same wonderful service. The front reps are very welcoming and shows friendliness to everyone that walks through the doors. The eye doctor is different. The floor staff that is there to help you find glasses can be challenging if your like me and want to stick to your own style. I did feel very uneasy with one because the way she talked to me made me feel like I was less than but once I spoke up. She did aplogize and didnt mean for the way it sounded.There is advertising on the website and inside the store saying buy one pair of glasses get the second pair free but thats not true because I was told the offer is not good for the people that has insurance even the fact it doesnt say it anywhere on the sign or website that. Many will be fooled by the advertising on website and inside the stores hanging sign thinking they can get a free pair of glasses after buying one. These advertising signs needs to state something like under certain conditions. Another thing.. you have to pay for everything in advance. Theres no order now and pay later here, glasses can take up to 2 weeks to be ready, and the eye exams are not free.I do recommend seeing Jason when picking out your glasses because hes laid back and cares alot about your needs and wants

To many issues to even write. Treated my daughter horribly. Double charged and much more. We will never be back and will never tell anyone to come here. Worst experience ever. Very RUDE staff and doctors dont listen. Save yourself some grief and go some place else.

All 4 of my children have gone here since 2027, Excellent doctor for the whole family. Dr is funny and friendly, and very compassionate. She makes the visit a breeze. All the staff are helpful when choosing frames, and tabs care in helping young children. Definitely recommend.

Went to Vision works after having a terrible experience at Target Optical. The employee was super helpful, friendly and patient while I chose frames. I have a very strong prescription that often equates to not liking the frames I chose. Not this time. ..very happy all around. My whole family will be coming here from now on.

Made appointment online, as they arent doing walk-ins. Very easy to navigate the website. I was offered a same day appointment, but took one for the next day. The staff were amazing and clearly know their jobs. Enhanced safety measures in place, so no Covid-19 worries. Doc explained in detail everything thats going on with my eyes. Cost was comparable to other places. I left satisfied and informed.

Just wanted to rave about this place real quick. I had stopped by not too long ago to get a new pair of glasses with an exam. The thing is I was hoping to be in town longer than I actually was so didnt get my glasses before I had to leave. I called them and told them to ship it to me. This would be my first time actually getting my glasses shipped to me so I was a bit worried. Called them every other day and they were soooo kind every time and assured me they were on their way. And there was nothing to worry about because just yesterday I received my glasses and I love them. I called them to tell them personally, but also want everyone else to know that they went far and beyond to help me. Also the Dr. was extremely helpful she went into detail with me about the health of my eyes. Honestly no other Dr. has done that. Thank yall so much. Sending love all the way from GA.

Supermarkets ravaged, shelves left barron, and eye appointments at Target pushed back due to the pending gloom.With little to no hope left In the town, two men set out to brave the impending carnage ahead. These men will always be remembered as the epitome of best friend. The now local Ben sought assistive devices to enhance his ability to perceive the world clearly around him. This task far to dangerous for just one man to take on alone, he sought the accompaniment of his best friend who resided 1,200 miles away. His name was Lane. With little to no time to prepare, a flight was purchased to cover the vast distance between them. The adventure commenced.Both best friends soon arrived at Vision Works not knowing what to except. As they opened the pearly gates into Vision Works not only were they greeted by the sure embodiment of angelic beings, but a quick scan of temperature was given to ensure the safety all around. Quickly after passing test one the best friends were separated. Ben, filled with moral support that stemmed from his pal Lane, was sure that any task placed before him would be met with determination and competence.Though briefly separated through the exam both friends were provided great hospitality. A level of hospitality only dreamt of by the highest of corporate elites. From the great conversations, to laughs that emanated throughout the building, such a time has never been cherished oh so greatly!Upon Ben’s fulfillment of a much needed prescription the two were reunited only to see the insurmountable pinnacle of service met by the quintessential duo Charlie and Tina. These two demonstrated the idealistic apex of professionalism and genuineness.A bond like no other quickly formed. A bond so strong not even the winds of a thousand hurricanes could perforate it. We couldnt find glasses the right size for my teenage son at the other eye offices, so stopped in without expecting much. The selection took me by surprise and even though he hadnt had the eye test there, Mandie was quick to help and within a week, he had glasses that he loves.

Must be desperate to get customers. I receive unwanted mailings a couple times a months. They get information from insurance companies about who in the area has vision insurance and if you have used your benefits for the year. It should be illegal for an insurance company to release this information and to be on cahoots with specific providers and not others. Will never do business with them

Im not angry but I am unimpressed, mostly. I made the appointment over the phone with an overly-bubbly associate. She sounded like a cartoon character singing every word like she was high on something. I found it funny, but dont find it charming. At least she wasnt being crabby, thats a plus I suppose.Then I went in for my appointment and at first it was a really great experience. This genuinely nice lady did the first portion of my eye exam and she did a great job keeping me informed. Her work area appeared to be clean and she was quite helpful.The Optometrist wasnt an unpleasant person. She didnt come out and say so but I got the impression that she didnt like my mom telling me I needed glasses. My mom has been wearing glasses since she was five, so I think its okay to listen when she tells me to have my eyes checked. Maybe I read the OD wrong? Anyhow, as she was doing my eye test she would ask me if I liked one magnification or the other better, you know how they do that. But as we progressed she started telling me what to say, as if she was certain she knew in advance how I would see. Thankfully I have a will and patience, otherwise I might have let her decide... She would say, Four or five? Pretty much the same.Um, girl? You dont have my eyes, so hush yourself.She dilated my pupils and then took me out onto the sales floor so that I could look at glasses while I waited for the drops to do their work.The woman who sells the glasses and collects payments started off sort of neutral, which would be fine but when I resisted the sales pitch she developed a bit of an edge. She became hard and impatient, which humans do but all I did was hold off and walk the floor rather than go straight in for the buy. When I said I was waiting for my dad to get back to me about whether or not I should purchase glasses from them or order online (I specified that he was paying for them), she cooled off rather quickly. Now, when I made the comment that everything is getting blurry, she said, thats what is supposed to happen. But it wasnt so simple as she was informing me, but that there was an air of p**s off in it.I used to be in sales and thats not how your overcome the I have to think about this you might hear from a potential buyer. Always be patient. I dont know if she makes commission or not, but one way or the other, Id have felt a bit stronger of an urge to buy if I hadnt felt so useless upon resistance. Once she found out my dad had said no to the store glasses purchase she shuffled me off to the exam room.This is where I sat for twenty or so minutes, waiting for the OD to come finish my eye exam. Eventually I had to poke my head out the door and ask if it was supposed to be taking so long. The dilation drops were in my eyes for about thirty five or so minutes before she finally gave them a look.Overall Id say Im just sort of nonplussed. I dont think a regular eye test should take two hours, accompanied by cranky staff and dozens of minutes of being forgotten about. I just didnt really enjoy myself.And I know management is going to say call us or send us an email so that we can...No.My eyes still hurt twelve hours later. Im going to bed.

I had a great experience at VisionWorks. They were all over it without a lot of waiting around. Super helpful with answering any question I had and explaining all of the testing they did. Very thorough eye exam as well. I feel that my eyes are in good hands with this team!

This was the first time my kids and I elected to use Visionworks eye care services. The customer service was outstanding. No one was pushy and they took lots of time helping us select frames that fit the demensions of of our faces. The frame inventory selection was for woman was broad, while the boys and girls selection was rather limited but the styles offered were modern. The mens selection included sports brands such as Lacrosse and Nike. I was very impressed with the variety of lens upgrades. We took advantage of the frame sale which made our over all purchases of glasses and contacts far less than I expected. After seeing the vast selection of colored contacts I almost splurged on getting myself a set but they were only available in prescription form.

Came in today and had the best customer service experience. Dr. was awesome and Marianne the General manager did a great job helping me figure out the right style for me.

Purchased cheap back up lenses for my old frames. Clean atmosphere, staff was friendly enough.

My appointment at Vision Works was very smooth. The facility was very clean. I was greeted when I entered, and was told it would just be a few mins. I didnt have to wait long at all before I was seen. Everyone was kind, but one particular person made my experience very memorable. Charlie, the woman who did the prescreen, had amazing energy the whole time I was there. She was very positive, upbeat, and very sweet. I really wish I had asked for number. This was my first visit with Visionworks and I had a great experience. I easily made an appointment online and filled out the forms ahead of time. I didn’t have to wait at all, and was there maybe an hour for the whole deal (eye exam and glasses purchase). Everyone working here was extremely friendly and helpful!

I broke my glasses and and my back up pair and didn’t think they could be repaired, so I took them back to Visionwork at First & Main to have them looked it. Tina greeted me with smile (under her mask) and said let me take a look at both pair of glasses. She said leave them with me and we’ll see what we can do. I came back a couple hours later and she had repaired both pairs!! Tina had fix what I thought was unfixable. I wanted to pay her for her time and she refused to charge me anything. Job well done!!! It’s a long drive for me to their new location, but I continue to do business with them because of Tina’s great customer service.Thanks Tina, keep up the good work.A loyal customer.Jack Boehm

The lady who checked my daughters eyes tapped her on the head to get her to look at what she was talking about. It took everything in me not to walk out right there.If youre looking for a friendly person to do your eye exam I would go somewhere else . She was also very rude to the other people working.

This was my second time at Visionworks to buy new eye glasses assisted by Val. Again, it was a great experience, in part because Visisonworks has a large and divers selection, but largely due to Vals expert customer service. Val always has a friendly smile and is patient while I debate with myself on which pair of glasses are bast for me. Plus, Val is an expert in fitting my glasses with my progressive prescription. I will return to Visionworks again next time i need new glasses.

Staff is very unprofessional and down right rude. Doctor on site is very lazy and bills insurance for services that they tell you (the patient) arent needed but they get the money from insurance for services they didnt even provide. Prices are outrageous even being in network with your insurance company. The staff acts as if your an inconvenience by asking questions about frames, lenses, and insurance. All around this was a horrible experience. It was the first time and last time I will ever step foot into a vision works. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!

Amazing place to go. Ive been here 3 or so times, and every single time has been nothing less than perfect. Carly was at the front desk for my visit yesterday, and she was extremely nice and very easy to talk to. All of the techs, doctors, and front desk staff are always very nice and make sure I feel comfortable and I understand everything about my appointment, prescription, etc. This is the only place I will go for glasses and contacts.

We were in such a tight spot and spent our afternoon running around to every eye glass place in the springs. We finally made it to Visionworks on Academy Blvd. Mandie our helpful and amazingly cool associate immediately not only helped but offered to go out of her way to make sure they were ready only 2 days after we needed then! She was out of this world when it came to customer service and we would recommend Visionworks to anyone and everyone.

Ive been going here since I was an early teen and Im now about to be 22; these guys are awesome in what they do. Always super friendly and kind, willing to help where you need and offer assistance. Staff is always welcoming and work hard to get everything done quickly but effectively; theyre not afraid to wait for you to choose and let you take your time. 11/10 recommend. Their glasses are always super cute too and theyll help you if youre not sure which to get. The glasses always come in super fast too and they help with it for free when they need little repairs or cleaning.

The staff is extremely friendly and patient. Kathryn knows her stuff! She helped get us the best deal for contacts and 2 pairs of glasses. The doctor was engaging and treated my 16 year old well, he spoke to her to find out what her concerns were, not expecting me (mom) to do it for her. While the prices are higher than some other places, the service and attention to detail makes up for that.

The girls and fellows are oh so helpful and nice and very knowledgeable in their field its a complete pleasure going there not a chore like going to the eye doctor normally is. Kathe is the greatest... she really takes the time to get to know you and to find out your specific needs for glasses then and she takes she trying to find the exact ones that work best not only your needs. But, also to accommodate your budget... thank you for the greatest group of folks who really understand and get customer service!

I have always had a good experience here! The doctors know what they are doing. The staff is wonderful and willing to work with you if you don’t have insurance. My prescription was over 700 for one pair and by letting me know my options, Marianne was able to help me knock it down to 475 for two pairs. Keep in mind that I have a really expensive prescription, because I have to wear bifocals on top of my astigmatisms. Also they have an amazing selection of frames. I’ve been going here since I was a kid and I feel they are the best in town compared to other places I’ve gone. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Shout out to Marianne who helped me pick my frames, definitely a confidence booster because I wasn’t sure which ones to pick. She was relatable and funny. I hope in future visits she’s the one I get to help me through my process.

The whole staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I was in a crisis with my only pair of contact lenses torn and they got me in. Even though they were extremely busy they took their time with me and made sure I was comfortable. Mixed feelings about this place. Good: the staff for the most part were really friendly. The girl that sold me my glasses was informative and very easy to get along with. I got my glasses same day at a fairly reasonable price.Bad: I felt the doctor who was doing my exam was rushed. Oh and I only saw them clean the equipment once (by the RETAIL worker who sold me my glasses) and I got PINK EYE.

I’ve worn specs for 47 years. I’ve used many different places but stopped searching when I went here 10 years ago. Love the specials. Dr. Audrey was very pleasant as was all the staff. My only disappointment was not being able to upgrade a pair of glasses that weren’t on the $69 special. I was willing to pay the $30 difference or even more but was turned down and told the deal would be off and 2 pairs would be calculated individually and the price rose almost $200 😳 I’ll get used to what I chose and wait til next year and try again.

Went in as a walk in. I did call ahead to be sure that it wouldnt be long and they told me should be fine and it was. Shortly after arriving filled out paper work and proceeded with they eye exam. The eye doctor was pleasant and nice and helped make the experience more comfortable. The staff helped selecting frames and processed everything in a timely manner. Definitely recommend visonworks for your vision needs.

I had such great services from my phone call to make the appointment. That was the same day. And i was on such a tight time line that I was seen by the provider and my glassed picked out. Then I got a text saying they were in and I went to pick them up and it also was amazing. Thank you so much. I just love my new glasses.

Theyll tell you your contacts will be ready in 2 weeks at most, and convince you to put $130+ dollars down, then no calls or anything for 2 months and they STILL wont have the contacts when you call them. At least when I loan my bank $130 I get paid interest

I do not recommend at all, the girl at the front desk looked to be about 16 years old didn’t know what she was doing at all I was given misleading information THREE TIMES by her. I got an eye exam done here after I picked out a pair of glasses I really liked and told the girl at the front desk that they were the ones I wanted and she said they’d be ready in about a week. I even asked if I was supposed to pay for them now or when I pick them up. She said I could pay for them when I get them and to check in, in about a week. So a week later I call and I spoke with a lady on the phone gave her my name she said they weren’t done and to call back in a couple of days. So I did waited two more days called, found out they never got the glasses I ordered done nor did they even have the ones I picked out in the system! I wasn’t in the system at all. She obviously never put them in the system for them to get done. Gave me misleading information about how I was obviously supposed to purchase them. So I wasted a week and a half waiting for a pair of glasses that I thought were going to be done turned out to never exist! Complete INCOMPETENCE AND BAD BUSINESS.

Audrey is very professional. She is working so hard to get my contacts prescriptions right.

Mandie was working on the day I came in and even though I had insurance that Visionworks accepted, my insurance said I would not be in network. Quickly Mandie showed me that they would pay partially and with Visionworks reasonable prices, I still saved almost $100 according to what I was quoted at another store that was in network. The best staff and most excellent customer service in the city! Vanessa went above and beyond with her kindness and follow up she went out of her way to help me with my daughter glasses. She checked my insurance and called me back as promised. She helped me in my time of need to get me the best deal since my daughter lost her other pair of glasses. Marianne was the one who checked us out and helped us get out glasses quickly. We drive all the way from Briargate to go to Visionworks because they are the best! Quality customer service is a lost art in today’s age but not at the store this store is the best in all of Colorado Springs! Thank you Visionworks team for helping us get our glasses!

Very pleased with my experience at this location Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was able to get an appointment with short notice. My daughter loves her new glasses, she said she would even wear them to school!

Super quick and friendly service, plus great deals. Ive been getting my glasses from them for about 5 years now and Ive never been disappointed. I just got a new pair and the lady who processed my order was super great!
