I love this place! So organized and well kept! The lady at the front counter gave my daughter one of the little jelly candies and it was so sweet! I had a very pleasant experience here and will be back again soon!

There were a lot of products to choose from and employees were helpful in assisting me. I picked up spicy mayo and eel sauce for poke bowls and sushi.

Visited the Asian Market on Bakersfield Rd, Columbia this past Saturday, and my partner & I (recent *Successful* escapees from N.Y.) were quite happy to find a place relatively close to our home, where we could procure a number of staples for cooking our favorite Asian cuisine. The store is fairly extensive in its offerings, and well kept, the isles are clearly marked, and when needed, the store personnel were helpful in answering our questions and pointing us to the isle(s) where we could find certain items we were looking for.While the prices are a bit on the high side, Ill attribute that to the recent supply chain excuse being touted in the media of late as the cause, Ive personally seen milk prices in my local Aldis jump for 70-cents a quart to over $2.90 a quart, so Im sure everyones jumping on the price increase bandwagon, including this store, but when youre in need of the right ingredients to prepare your favorite Asian dishes, at least we now know where to find them, & we no doubt will be frequenting this store in the future. In addition to foodstuffs, they also have a decent selection of Woks, & various cooking utensils as well, so its a one stop-shopping extravaganza for all things Asian.

We were getting some unusual items and she asked what we were using them for and offered some suggestions for other uses as well!When we were looking for something specific, she very happily showed us where to find it.The store is clean, staff are friendly, and the produce section is very diverse and fresh! Prices are also really reasonable, often lower than you find in the international sections at bigger grocery store chains.

Clean and well-stocked grocery store. Lots of Japanese products I was looking for, including a few varieties of Golden Curry (locked up because of its value I assume). Was excited to find gyoza wrappers and had the most delicious gyoza the other night. Will come back for produce, as some of the vegetables arent found in regular grocery stores.

This is the premier Walmart of Columbia. The shelves a fully stocked. The store is clean and well organized. A shopper can dash in for quick purchases or shop the large inventory to find just the right product and check out with their purchases in a reasonable amount of time. Of all the Walmart stores in CAE, this is my favorite and choice.

Had any and everything imaginable. Staff was very courteous, helpful and insightful. Reasonably priced goods.

The people there are always so nice. I travel far just to come here. I like how they recycle boxes so use can use for your grocery. That helps with the plastic waste. If something is not in season, they offer the can until the actual produce comes in. They will help you with whatever you need.

If your looking for a great Asian market, this is it. They have extensive fresh products, frozen goods of all varieties. It is a large market, and when looking for rarer products for recipes I have always found them here. They also have an entire isle dedicated to different types of instant ramen and noodles, and a large assortment of teas, canned coffees, and drinks. The staff is also very helpful in answering questions and showing where stuff is.

Very organized and clean, filled with all kinds of wonderful foods from a variety of Asian countries. Very relaxed and considerate atmosphere to find some greats.

Great Asian Market. Clean, not cluttered and did not smell like the wharf. They have a smattering of Korean, Filipino and other Asian nationality delights. They carry fresh produce and seafood. They have an interesting tea section, 3:15 Roasted Milk tea is where its at! They carry porcelainware for all your noodle concoctions. They even have Good Luck and Maneki Neko items. My daughter loved the candy section, she enjoys Pocky. They also have a freezer section were they have dumplings, eggroll/wonton wraps, buns and mochi. They even had Balut (fermented baby duck eggs) at the counter! Open 7 days a week.

The Asian Market has all your taste buds desire regarding the realm of Asian cuisine. I was stationed in Japan for shore duty for 3 years of my Naval career; during this time I discovered so many uniquely Asian dishes that are very difficult to find here in South Carolina. Making these dishes yourself sometimes require special ingredients not carried in typical grocery stores. For this reason alone this Asian Market is top notch. Aside from this, their employees are extra helpful and patient. The store carries every product that one preparing Asian cuisine can imagine. I highly recommend this store if you are looking to satisfy what your appetite is missing.

I love this place. Its one of the largest Asian markets in the area, with a huge variety of ethnic foods and ingredients. I love making Thai food, and come here to get my ingredients. While chain stores are starting to carry more diverse products, its still hard finding specialty ingredients. You can find a good 20 some varieties of noodles, rice, and sticks here. Soy sauce in all colors and flavors. Snacks from all over. Even frozen and fresh foods. This is the perfect stop if youre looking for that hard to find ingredient or just want to try something new and exciting.

I adore this market-assume it is family owned since I often see familiar faces each time I go. The clerks are awesome, they always ask me what I am cooking and they never let me forget an ingredient. I would suggest going there and just spending some time exploring. Buy some snacks and drinks that you are not familiar with-you may find your new favorite thing! Looking for a unique gift? Fill a basket with treats and you will be a hero.

Great Asian market in the Cola area. Can find some hard to find ingredients for your pad thai or green curry. The store tends to be a little on the pricey side and the produce can be very hit or miss. Despite that, it is a good resource to have in the area.

My first and last time there....so much stuff kind of hard to find things. no isles labeled. Ill have to order online and if you use a card you gotta spend at least 10.00. Which I thought VISA was did not allow.

I was so pleased with the Asian Market! So many things to see and try! The owners were very kind to me. The owner even introduced me to coconut vinegar! I was so excited to use it to marinade my pork . Also to pickle the peppers that were suggested to me as well! I thank you, for making feel welcomed. I get shy going to new places. So my experience made me so happy! You have to check this place out!

This is a food market with asian products and fresh produce, teas, drinks, etc. I really enjoyed this place and it is a good size with various things to offer if you like asian product.

I go here for my frozen dumpling and instant ramen fix! So many strange and unfamiliar products on the shelves I just stroll up and down the aisles wondering. Staff is friendly and eager to answer questions and make suggestions.

Great place where you can get Asian or Oriental foods & ingredients to cook with. They keep store really clean & foods are usually in stock. If not, call ahead & they can order them for you.

I went hungry and shopped based on pictures and what I thought my American palate could handle. Having made my dubious selections, I hauled my basket to the front. The owner was obviously both amused and worried that with my mixed bag of unrelated items, I was due to have a very bad experience. She kindly suggested items that would go with the orphan ingredients I had, like coconut milk for my curry paste, and sauce for my dumplings. I fibbed and told her I had them, because I knew that it was going to be a little while before I use some of the ingredients, but was incredibly grateful that she took the time to try and help.

This is absolutely my favorite Asian market. Such a huge and wonderful selection and great prices. Lots of fresh produce, snacks, drinks, cooking supplies, and tidbits. I love coming to this one. The staff are so nice and I absolutely love them.

Pleasantly surprised by the selection here! I was most impressed with finding the boba ice cream bars that have been sold out everywhere (I have literally been looking for the past year)!!It looks like their fish section was closed due to COVID-19, and the hours were adjusted for 11am-6pm. The only thing I could not find when I went in was a specific brand of tapioca pearls, but I did find all the other staples I was looking for and then some (Yakult, peanut mochi, shrimp chips, etc.).I also like that a vast majority of their products are from Taiwan (for those who may not know, Taiwans equivalent of the FDA has safety guidelines most similar to US, unlike many other Asian countries, so Im much more trusting of their food and nutrition labels). Some of the products I found that were not made in Taiwan were products that came from very well-known brands (i.e. The Alley, weichuan, and Calbee), which is encouraging to see.Very impressed with the quality and selection for a Columbia-area Asian grocery mart, and the staff was very kind, understanding, and funny! Highly recommend.
