Tanya was our sales associate but didnt run our credit together so had to go elsewhere to get the rest of our furniture. We purchased only a king bedroom set with a mattress. First 2 deliveries they ordered the wrong bed as they couldnt put it together so our mattress was on the boxsprings on the floor for over a month and frame was leaning on the wall because the drivers wouldnt take it back with them. The drivers literally left everything in the middle of the room and blocking our closet and bathroom. It was completely unnecessary to leave a mess like the did. Dresser and mirror was damaged so a service tech came out and couldnt fix it so she ordered a new one a few weeks later. Mirror was backordered so when it came in it was the same damaged one the tech couldnt fix. Next delivery they brought another head board that of course didnt fix putting the bed together either. So then the store ordered new rails and footboard to try and get the bed put together and a few weeks later it finally worked. But the supposedly new headboard they sent was the same incorrect one and came back in a blanket and was badly damaged. So after 8 deliveries and several wasted days off from work and several visits to the store and on the phone with corporate and 2 store managers and the regional manager and the delivery company we finally have 1 King Bedroom set. The next to last delivery was a no call no show so another wasted Saturday at home and literally got nothing. I cant imagine if we got more pieces from the problems we would have. They did refund our delivery fee and a $200 credit.

Came in for a larger couch because i have a big family. Staff was nice but i was told that I could finance through them if i paid $1000 down and paid my bill biweekly with a high interest rate. The $1000 was fine but i was only approved for half the cost. I was told i could take the recliner home from the set which isnt even what i came for. I tried to call back to accept the $1000 down but was on hold for 10 minutes. So i will be going some where else.

I met with a very knowledgeable lady named Krista .She showed me several mattresses that fit my budget and requirements. She was able to mix 2 different packages to get me what I wanted. After mentioning that I needed some new pillows she found me 2 in the back at half price. Krista went over and beyond to make me happy. I waited two months for a dining room set that arrived with every piece containing some type of damage. Then on top of the long wait and damaged furniture, I couldn’t get a replacement because they discontinued the set. This is what I call bad service.

Great service! Roger Scott, our sales associate, was easy to speak with and explained all of our options... Not the typical “follow you around the store” pushy salesman. Greeted when we walked in. Very helpful finding what we wanted and get it set up for delivery. The only I have to say I called and asked about measurements so that I could plan for the couch. The person I spoke with could not tell me the length. She said the sales person would have to measure and call me back. It has been 2 days since then and no call back. Today was my first time at rooms to go as it is my first time moving into a new place. Most things are always very confusing at first but I must say Tonya, the person who helped us, made buying furniture very easy. She greeted us with a smile and helped us to our exact needs. Almost every other store I have been to has said that furniture would take up to 16 weeks to deliver. Tonya, however, was able to help us out and show which couches were available to buy and ensured that we got our couch prior to us moving in (which is less than a week).Thanks to her, buying stuff for the apartment has become less of a hassle and more enjoyable.

It was a hot summer day and I was waiting on my furniture to be delivered. My time kept being pushed back but who doesn’t know that is how furniture delivery goes! When 7pm rolled around the 2 most polite men showed up and set up my couches. These men also told me they had 4 more deliveries after me! What? It was 7pm! I 5 started this because of these men (I wish I knew their names) and how awesome and quick they were. I wish they didn’t have 4 more deliveries after me!

Christa Smith was awesome to work with. She listened to my daughter and I needs and showed us several beautiful pieces today. We are very pleased with our new sleeper sofa and mattress. I can’t wait for them to arrive in our favorite colors! 🥰

When my husband and I walked into Rooms to Go, Ms Tonya was waiting with a smile! I couldn’t see her face because of the mask, however her greeting and squinted eyes hinted to the fact that she was indeed smiling! She proceeded to assist us in quickly locating a set of bunk beds that fit the needs pf our boys! It was price much lower then the other 2 places we’d already been. She also sold me a red tagged rug for the boys! The rug had a small defect and she even gave some tips on how to fix that! Her southern charm made me feel comfortable and confident with her sale. Ms.Kim (Rooms to Go in Lexington, SC) who helped us select a diningroom set, a living room set, and 3 mattresses was very helpful, knowledgeable and downright pleasant. She was patient with us yesterday and today, 06.28, when we came back. One of the reasons we did come back is because the shopping experience itself with her was great. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. I had such an issue getting my brand new couch as a first time big purchase with furniture. I recently bought a house with my fiance and we wanted new furniture. While only SOME of their deals are good, there are so many fees that make it too expensive. I work in Customer Service and I rarely leave reviews, but I had to on this. Whoever Janette/ Janelle is at this store is literally a PAIN to deal with. She was not very helpful and sounded like she did not want to be on the phone with me, which pisses me off. She also did not mention that the delivery is all day meaning your delivery time doesnt even matter... I missed my first delivery because I have a life and a job to attend to, but someone was home at the scheduled delivery time. They were almost 2 hours late and took my couch back to the warehouse to be delivered another day. This company WILL NOT reach out to you in regards to any service or delivery, you have to call. I unfortunately had to speak with Janette or Janelle to reschedule and again, she was very unhelpful and seemed aggravated. Three weeks later, I finally got my couch after it was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks after my date of purchase. My father also spoke with Janelle or Janette with a purchase and literally told me exactly how she acted, how I described her. Thanks to her, neither one of us will ever be ordering from Rooms to Go again, and we dont care... Go to Ashley Furniture down the road from this location. Theyre all nice and seem to care about their job and customers...

Deloris Whitney was our sales person and she was fantastic. It was obvious that her years of expertise would help my daughter who was new to Columbia and fresh out of college find the right items for her new apartment. Deloris was patient and helpful throughout the process and we purchased a suitable sectional, coffee table, headboard and bed frame, rug and 2 bedroom side tables from her. Due to Covid, many items are not readily available and Deloris helped us identify items that would be delivered the first of June which was a huge help to my daughter. All in all a great experience thanks to Deloris Whitney. I would recommend her to anyone needing items from Rooms To Go - Harbison.

I came into the Harbison store in SC looking for a new sofa and recliner. It was a great experience walking through the store and viewing the wide variety of inventory. Once I found a sofa that I liked and was kind of hovering around it and testing it out, Tonya greeted me to assist me further. She was so wonderful, professional and helpful through the process. She was able to help me narrow down a color selection and even find a recliner that would match well from another part of the store. She offered all of the available options and was happy to look up information regarding price and measurements. I will definitely come back to this store for future purchases and would hope to be helped by someone like Tonya again. I have not one complaint. Hopefully delivery will go just as smoothly!

I purchased 2 new bedroom suites and kitchen table 6 months ago, but thanks to Covid 19, it took several months to receive it. Adding to it, my Rooms To Go credit card was fraudulently used, which has further delayed the shipment of one of the bedroom suites. The manager (Dave) asked me to swing by and sit down with him to discuss my concerns, which I did. He is working tirelessly to make things right, and I cannot thank him enough! I absolutely love my new furniture, and am looking forward to resolving the fraud claim, and receiving the rest of my order. Thanks again, Dave!

Great staff! Tonya was super helpful with helping us decide on which mattress set best suited our needs. We were immediately greeted as soon as we walked in the door. We weren’t rushed and were given several options. We also bought a bunk bed set in the children’s department and Clinton was also great to work with. We wanted something that would hold up over the years and he discussed all the options and took his time with us. Two different departments and great service on both!!

I wouldnt recommend going there, I went as a repeat customer within 10 days of getting a complete bedroom set, was very happy with Krista, I guess just going back for a twin mattress isnt worth the older ladies time. I first asked about where the twin mattress were, she talked to me like I understood the crazy set up of the store..( fyi, its set up like a shot gun blast, pieces everywhere, very confusing), she started to walk away, like I knew where I was going..I ask could you at least point me in the right direction.She was made I guess she wasnt going to make much off us.Very condescending..Ii wont be a repeat customer..

Purchased from Rooms to Go for many years and never had any issues with furniture. Just purchased an oversized storage ottoman. Paul was our sales man and was very nice and professional.

Store is fine, employees are nice but delivery is atrocious! Item purchased in February with a delivery date of June 3, 2021. Delivery of item was confirmed but they never delivered. Item was not placed on truck for delivery, waited all day to find out my purchase was not on the truck! Delivery times are not available and they will not work with you on times for delivery making it nearly impossible to accept delivery. Who can sit at home all day waiting on delivery only for them to be a no show? Some of us have to work! All of this is why I will NEVER purchase from them again. Like I stated, the only issue is delivery. If they want to remain in business, something has to change!

Visited to make a purchase for 1 room. Went to the Kids to Go area, found what I was looking for immediately but had some questions. Waited for about 15 minutes before I noticed no one was in the area to assist. Eventually got assistance from Tonya who was very knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions. Ended up buying sets for two different rooms. I would shop again. Ask for Tonya!

Really disappointed with my experience here.The initial shopping experience was nice. In July of this year, we went in looking for a complete overhaul to our living room. We were walked through the store and provided plenty of options by the representative who worked with us, and in the end we were excited to settle on a full living room set. The staff told us right away that the two end tables that came with the set would not be available until August, which we were totally fine with. The remainder of our items (electric reclining couch and love seat, rug, coffee table and arm chair) were scheduled to arrive 6 weeks after we ordered, so we happily moved forward with the order.Fast forward to the August date that our furniture was scheduled to arrive (with the exception of the two end tables). We were told that the window for delivery was between 9AM and 12PM that day. A little after 1, we were contacted by phone and told that window changed...the order would not arrive until closer to 4, which we were totally fine with. Ultimately, the delivery truck did not arrive until close to 8 PM that night (with no additional notification from Rooms to Go). The lack of communication was very shocking…After 6, we’d all but given up hope that our furniture would even arrive that day.As the crew worked to set up our furniture, we discovered that neither the rug nor the arm chair were the styles that we ordered, and the electric reclining sofa was delivered without the necessary outlet cord. The delivery guys insisted they notified the store of our issues, and that we’d be contacted some time over the next few days regarding pickup and replacement of these items. After a few days of waiting, we reached out ourselves and received very little assistance over the phone. We proceeded to go to the store the next day to discuss with staff. We were, however, told that the replacement of the items would carry a “restocking fee” (despite the fact that Rooms to Go mistakenly delivered the wrong items). Having put so much time into this endeavor already, we decided to move forward with it. Besides, we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our two end tables a couple of weeks later anyway, so we didn’t want to over-complicate things by dealing with two separate furniture companies to get this living room overhaul done.We were told that the new items would arrive the same week as our end tables. As that week went by with no communication from Rooms to Go (and no delivery of any of the furniture), we contacted customer service and were told that the items would not be delivered for another 6 weeks. We were stunned, and ultimately decided to cancel the order for the remaining items entirely.I fully understand the COVID-19 climate we are living in now. With shortages happening all around us, we can’t expect perfect timing when it comes to things like this. But we weren’t asking for that. A little communication by Rooms to Go would have gone a long way in easing our concerns and managing our expectations, and this was by far the worst example of professional communication that I have ever witnessed. The entire experience was utterly disappointing.Going forward, Rooms to Go really needs to work to understand and address the communication gaps that seemingly occur often among the many arms of its business. But for now, there are several other furniture store options in Columbia that we will be happy to visit to finish off our living room.
