Used them to diagnose a motor battery problem a couple years ago. Fast forward recall on battery. Mary in sales has been wonderful in helping me locate the old battery in her discard area in the back of the yard and is working with me and the manufacturer to get the issue resolved. I cant stress enough how wonderful the customer service has been with Columbia Marine. I highly recommend them.

****Update**** it’s now the end of my 4th year dealing with Columbia Marine and they constantly exceed expectations. I had some trouble with the boat in the beginning of the season and even though the boat was no longer under warranty they took care of everything at no charge. When the season ended a about 6 weeks ago I decided to bring the boat to them to get serviced before putting it away for the winter, this way in the spring it will be ready to go as early as possible. I had tried to modify the original design of the boat to better accommodate how I maintained the boat in the water. I was unsuccessful. Not for them!!! They got it done and were more than fair on the charge. Ive been in the service business for 40 years and all I can say is these guys are the best at relationship building that I have ever encountered!!!! ******I’ve been dealing with Columbia Marine for three years. In the first year I was just window shopping. Chick and Mary were great at answering all my questions on buying an electric pontoon boat for our lake. They were both very knowledgeable and patient. Two summers ago my wife and I went ahead and made our purchase of a new pontoon boat thru Columbia. The boat was delivered on time and handled beautifully. Of course being a guy I never read instructions so Chick had to rerun me thru the operation of the boat all over again by phone as I live two hours from their marina. No matter, Chick was very patient and ran me thru everything again. This year they proved themselves yet again! I had a problem with the motor after my kids played around with the controls. Once again they guided me thru the problem with great knowledge and patience. This time it was Chicks son who helped me. Clearly this is a great generational business that knows customer service!
