Cute candy store on the corner! Tons of unique gift items inside, along with a beautiful display of every chocolate you could ask for. They’ve got truffles, caramels, cookies, cordials, toffee, you name it. I really love seeing what cute shapes they mold the chocolate into for the different seasons! I picked up a dark chocolate jack o lantern today, along with some candy corn and malt balls. They’ll make you a gift basket too, and you can even watch them make the chocolate upstairs! It’s a really cool gem in downtown Columbia, totally worth a look!!

Hands down one of the Crown Jewels of Columbia! Amazing artistry in food. Mike and his incredibly talented team have come up with some fantastic dances of flavor for your mouth. A sheer plethora of tongue tangos to taste! They have a cornucopia of concoctions that conceive decadent cocktails of chocolate and candies. They can also custom make chocolates for special occasions. I use them as thank you gifts and “Atta Boys!” All the time. They even have “Thank You” chocolate cards. Plus a fun gift shop of local stuff. Go now! Buy local!!!

Seems like a really good place. Has a wide selection and good ambiance. It is just ridiculously expensive. 17.95 per pound for most candy. For college students, this will be expensive

I was able to meet various Halloween-themed candy and chocolates with my family. Also, we were able to see the candy factory on the second floor. It is recommended to take a photo in front of the candy landscape painting painted on the second-floor wall. The staff are also very friendly.

Anything from gifts for significant other or distant cousins and all types of chocolate and candy you can think up. Highly recommended and please try the truffles.

This is by far my favorite place for chocolate covered strawberries and other sweet treats! The pricing is not to expensive and the quality is soooo worth it; their staff is also very welcoming and helpful!

I was so appreciative that The Candy Factory delivers. I called in an order of chocolate covered strawberries for my Mizzou daughter’s birthday. The employee I talked to on the phone was so kind. My daughter loved them!

You MUST try the truffles and chocolate covered strawberries here! They are amazing! The Candy Factory has a wide variety of candies and you can even watch them make the candy.

I love this place. It is definitely a great business and atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have assortment of candy as well as Knick knacks. There is something for everyone.

Paid 20 dollars for next day delivery for chocolate covered strawberries on the 10th and never received them. Called 10 times no answer. Went to the store and was told that they would arrive Friday. Its Saturday still no arrival. Im highly disappointed, so I emailed them and no response. I just want a refund. Will update the review once I get a refund.

The candy from the candy factory is just delicious. I wish that there was a little bit more help when you need it and I wish that they had some nice gift boxes because they have so many delicious candies and those pre-packaged sometimes just arent enough. Is there ever enough chocolate? Lovely store the people are always helpful. Their candy is truly delicious.

Such a sweet ambiance! Helpful staff, amazing sweet treats for the whole family and even with all our random allergies, we were still able to get something for everyone!

The employees are always so helpful and quick. I was worried about how things would work this year due to COVID. But with masks required and sanitizer stations availble, I was able to safely get in and out with all my Valentines Day goodies.

Seriously an amazing shop- theres so much variety and all delicious and gourmet. I always order gifts for friends and family and ship them all over the country. When I moved to New York, I ordered caramel apples for my office- and was universally agreed that it was the best caramel apple they have had! Thanks for all the good memories CF!

It goes without saying that the shop has delicious sweets of a terrific variety, both chocolate and non-chocolate. But it is also worth climbing the stairs to the brightly painted observation hall where the kiddos (in you!) can see the candy being made. Ill admit, I stood and watched the pretzels and Oreos sliding under the chocolate waterfalls for a little while, shopping forgotten. The Candy Factory will also be one of my first stops in years to come for seasonal decor: I didnt realize until this year just how many lovely ornaments, table linens, etc., the shop has on hand for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Overall, a very enjoyable spot to browse for the holidays!

I asked for DARK chocolate covered Strawberries, I paid $20 for DARK chocolate strawberries. I got milk chocolate. I took it back into the store, and they wanted to tell me that it is dark chocolate. I do not like milk chocolate and I do NOT like these. They refused to make it right. I dont really want to pay $20 for something that I dont care for. Since they would not exchange these for what I asked for, I wont go back! If you like dark chocolate, dont go here!

Street parking in a busy college town. I was lucky. Overwhelming variety. Bought choc covered Strawberries. They looked very nice (gift).

I go every year around valentines to get the strawberries for my parents and myself. Love them. Except for this year. I drove 100 miles round trip to get 1 1lb box and 2 1/2 lb boxes. Not one berry was ripe and sweet. I was shocked. This is not normal. I ate the chocolate, could not pass that up. HOWEVER, this is not intended for a bad rating, just wanted to let you know. I asked several people and they say they dont give refunds. So I chocked it up as a loss of a really good treat this year.

This place is a hidden treasure in the mess that is The District. I dont know how long it has been here, but as long as I can remember. Gourmet candies for all occasions and a really nice layout. It reminds me a little of the fancy candy shop at the beginning of the original Willy Wonka :D

Great gifts or a good place to stop in if youre driving thru Columbia. the dark chocolate covered potato chips are divine. The chocolate covered strawberries are to die for.

Middle of the road for me. Expensive and can be hard finding a spot to park. Some of the chocolate has been dry (gets that white waxy coating on it) but the ladies love it so Ive got to keep going.
