Currently has the best manager, Travis.I live in a different town and come to this location because of him and his staff.Whether he is there or 1 of the staff members he trained, you are guaranteed the best customer service.

I would not recommend!! I ordered a ps4 bundle online, I thought my controllers weren’t working so I took them back to GameStop to Felix, instead of Felix providing me with two controllers he only gives me one, allows me to purchase a call of duty and a headset to make up for the two controllers not working! Turns out it was the ps4 that was in bad condition. Went through hell to get another Ps4 bc felix messed up the bundle package and there was no way to fix it unless I had everything that came with it! My fiancée called the GameStop in laurel and thankful for the manager there and their assistance. However, this game stop right here, is a no go.

Staff here are very helpful. They spring the sales on you but arent pushy. Just the right balance.

Everytime I come into this store. The staff behind the register seem to have a slick comment about the game that I am buying and just seem to talk about everything that they don’t. They TRY to whisper about it. It was one time that they didn’t even care and just talked trash about the game while they were ringing me up. I’m going to need you guys to get it together

Stopped by here about a week ago to purchase a Nintendo Switch and a kind gentleman in his 40s helped me and answered many questions as well. There was also a young lady in her early 20s with a ponytail that also was very knowledgeable about the Switch and mentioned a screen protector . Over all nice store and I do like that keep the place frosty especially during the summer !

Im always here. I had the nicest person take care of me. Bought a game (buddy said it was a good game took his word. It was not my kind of game) took it back a few days Later and she gave me a full refund. That never happens. Gave the money right back to buy another game.

We all know the chain. But these guys are much more friendly than average. Took my nephew here and the service was way better than the GameStop I normally visit. Entrance is a bit tricky to find thou :)

Bought a game. Went home. Discovered the clerk only game me 1 out of 2 discs. Called the store - no answer. Called 15min later. No answer. Called another 13 times! No answer. Went back to the store, and made sure I was calling as I entered. The store was empty and the phone was ringing. The clerk immediately looked up, asked me if I was calling (I confirmed), and she advised that the phones werent working. I didnt believe her. I returned the game without bothering to try for the second disc. I didnt want to give such an awful location my money. No wonder the franchise is going out of business.

Hands down the worst GameStop for miles... Ive visited this site at least half a dozen times and each time they changed the prices for what I wanted to buy compared to what GameStops website says... Not only that but each time you ask for a game you want they claim not to have it in stock... I have watched 100s of YouTube videos talking about this same thing... GameStop is a scam just use AMAZON or Ebay...

Its jam packed full of games and cool trinkets. Only downfall...they never answer the phones lol.

Is there something wrong with the phones in this GameStop? They never pick up the phone, I literally have kept trying to call them through out the whole day with no answer. This is the 3rd time this has happened its like no one there wants to pick the phone up.

Everything was good until I inboxed my Xbox X. The box had been opened before me even though it was used. I didn’t think much of it but when I tried to put in the free codes that come with the Xbox, they had all been redeemed already... I would suggest carefully looking over the packaging before leaving the store.

As much as I miss the gamestop on center Park Drive in Columbia that was about an 8th of a mile from my house the Dobbin location is awesome as well just considerably farther away. The staff is just as cool and knowledgeable. I would hang out longer here too if it wasnt as far. One of their associates is rude and extremely pushy, had to down a star for that reason.

This gamestop is horrible. The guy behind the counter, Taj, was completely rude and disrespectful to customers. He was not only rude to me but rude to the person in front of me as well. I will never be coming back.

As much as I love GameStop I have to say this store is subpar. Not only is it small, but the lines take forever here. I understand that it takes time to test trade-ins, but other locations typically have 2 people available to be on register, but this one seldom does. The Gamestop in Ellicott City is leagues superior as it is bigger, friendlier, and faster.

Transactions here take way too long. On top of that they typically only have one person working the counter. A visit here can be brutal.

I cant really say much about a gamestop that isnt known or hasnt been said. Not much in the way of great deals or anything like that... The staff is really knowledgeable, and can be helpful in terms of finding something that youd like.

They dont answer the phone. It rang for 5 minutes twice and the third time someone picked up but immediately hung up the phone. Once I got there I asked for their phone # to make sure I was calling the right place and sure enough they gave me the same # I was calling.

Loved the staff here. The staff was knowledgeable.

Went there to trade in a device and had to go several times bc they don’t let you know to not reset the device. Second time I went for something unrelated the person reset the device before she finished processing it. Each time I’ve been there it takes at least 30 minutes

Skip this location, go to the ellicot city or columbia mall locations instead. The store is a mess and the employees are mad disrespectful.

Tried calling this store a half dozen times throughout the afternoon and evening on a normal Friday. Never once did anyone bother to answer the phone, not even an answering machine. I literally let the phone ring for nearly 2 minutes one time, still no answer. Apparently they dont like to be bothered with customer phone calls at this particular GameStop.

One employee. Six people in line to buy products. First person selling ten games on disc which had to be cleaned, scratched polished and looked up individually to price. One cash register broke. One WIFI connection impaired on credit card station.. One register working but slow WIFI connection. Really? Great products I can buy elsewhere. This is the worst store...definitely not customer centered!

Not my local Gamestop anymore, but I come in here if im around. The service has never been anything short of excellent. The staff know what they are doing, and they are really quite friendly.

I went to Game Stop to purchase a Nintendo Switch for my son. I walked in and the Shift Manager (it says lead on his name tag) didn’t greet me nor did the young lady cashing out the couple in front of me. After walking around the store for a few minutes, I went back to the front desk. I was still ignored by Hajed who had one earbud in his ear and the other hanging as he counted Nintendo DS games. So I asked him, are you busy, his response was “Yes” and continued to count the DS games. Just to be clear, no one has greeted me yet and I was the only person in the store at the time. Kathy the cashier overheard me an swiftly came to assist.After seeing my frustration, Kathy became very attentive. I hope this finds cooperate because I still spent $430 in this establishment but would not have if it wasn’t for Christmas.Here’s a little advise Hajed, a Hello goes a long way. I know this is not your business, so customer service really doesn’t matter to you, but if it was, how would you want your employees to treat the customers?Merry Christmas!

I’ve been to this location twice in the past month, spending over $700 between the visits. First time the gentleman was being very rude. He refused to let me see/hold/examine any the Products that I was buying( game consoles + games)... he claimed it was because people run away with them. I don’t care. There were only 5 people in the store. one of them was my fiancé. One was a B/M and 5 yo son. One was a white women. After I purchased them he still refused to give them until I became frustrated. Went he finally put them on the counter (mind you, I already purchased them) the box had a huge dent/gash in the corner.This location has issues with discrimination.Recently, I called to ask a simple question. The gentleman’s told me his name was Tide (told me he spelled it this was as well). I didn’t get a chance to ask the question for, he began to saying “ok ok ask the question now, I have customers in front of me”. I asked for his name and let him know that is rude. This employee proceeded to laugh and thought that rushing customers was funny.I understand that this is Gamestop but this location is rude and acts as if they are only intellectual enough to see to children.

The manager of this store is incompetent. I went to trade in my old console controllers and the guy does not explain to me that he is going to cut the refund from one of the controller because he thinks its defective, (which it was not, I asked him to test it and he did not even do that probably because he was lazy!) processes it, and when I ask him to cancel the entire transaction, he declines to do it, saying that he cant revert it anymore. The manager was not friendly or accomodating. I will never shop at this place again from todays experience.

Terrible! This is the worst one I have been too by far. Its dirty, disorganized and the staff are not helpful. They had pre owned games on the shelf that they didnt even have. The one girl made people wait behind a trade in for over 20 minutes, there were 8 of us. All in all, go to a different GameStop instead.

Staff is friendly and helpful. You can buy and sell games and consoles, but you wont make much from selling.

They have really good games at really good prices

I go to them so often out of convenience, and the fact that they are the only midnight release location in Columbia, but other than one or two people, the staff is unhelpful, went in for a free game code, the person had no clue, then the person at the mall laughed when I told him the story.
