My experience at Forest Lake Fabrics working with Sandra was absolutely wonderful!! Sandra was so amazing and helpful! She guided me through the process of picking out two different fabrics for upholstery of a sofa and chair. She was so very patient and attentive to the detail of the type of fabric I needed to go with the space I was creating. The fabric selection was great also at Forest Lake Fabrics. I believe the lady that helped me was Sandy. She was very helpful in finding several options for dining room chair fabrics. I was greeted by Maggie and had a great personal conversation about the store since the flood, and about Maggie. Huge selection of fabrics. She gave me ample sized swatches of the options for me to bring home and see in my lighting and with the other colors and textures in the room. I went back and bought fabric today. Sandy wasnt there but the lady who helped me was just as nice. Such a joy and difference when shop with them, a local owned business as opposed to the national chain stores.

This place is fabulous! The selection of fabrics is very tasteful & the staff is beyond friendly & helpful. Youd never know theyve just reopened after theyd lost it all in a flood just two years ago.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff! I was visiting from out of town and needed to compare my swatches of fabric to the item I was reupholstering. Stephanie Marsha told me to give her a call if I decided on one of the fabrics, since they will ship! I made my fabric decision and gave her a call. She immediately remembered me, and knew the fabric I was referring to with hesitation. By the next day my fabric was cut, packaged, shipped, and delivered! I had a wonderful experience and will be back next time I am in Columbia!

This store is just ok. I visited on a Monday morning, just as the store opened. The lady who helped me obviously had a bad weekend. She attempted to be helpful and cut nice big samples. She appeared to be very sleeply, but was dressed in exercise attire. She hobbled around the store and never smiled. Perhaps she felt bad?? I wondered if she could hear....I made two comments which she never acknowledged. I felt as though she just wanted me to leave.....maybe she needed to visit the restroom?!? This store has a huge selection of beautiful fabrics and I will visit again, I just hope another sales associate assists me.

Very helpful, very friendly folks. My wife loves the selection of fabrics and I love the comfortable chair ;-) Even the dogs are friendly!

I have now been to this store 3 times while redecorating a new home. Other customers seem to be getting courtesy and help, but I have been continuously ignored. I have stopped the salespeople to ask questions, and have been given very flippant remarks or hurried answers. I have even purchased items and still not given the time of day. At this point, I would rather buy online than deal with rudeness again and again.
