The price of meat is not worth me driving there. I can get the same prices at Sams or Walmart which is closer to my home. I love giving back to post but they have got to do better.

Open waltmart app and check prices before you buy. Surcharge is the same as paying taxes. Not paying employees minimum wage, working for tip and guilt trip customers. Bagging should be a free service. Unethical business practices.

Random, but in case anyone was wondering, the BAKING soda is not in the aisle labeled BAKING needs. Its in the aisle labeled BARBECUE SAUCE. Yeah... No idea who came up with that blunder. Wasted 20 minutes trying to figure that out.

Not the best commissary I’ve shopped at, but it’s not horrible either. I think it could actually be a little bigger. The employees are always helpful and most times I find what I need without having to go to another store.

Customer service at the deli has something to be desired. you practically have to fight to get somebodys attention to serve you. Also, there is one check out clerk that would rather the lines get long in other lanes, rather than break the rule and have somebody come through the express lane. Really had me angry on Dec 26

I shop at the commissary weekly. Its a great place to shop. Its always clean, I find everything I need, and customer service is always great. I think FJ can use a larger facility. The retirees clean out the store during the holidays and weekends, so you better shop early. I understand during the pandemic that it maybe difficult to keep some items on the shelf. I didnt give five stars bc my rewards card worked when first issued but now it doesnt. Please fix the rewards system.

Well organized! A little crowded when you first walk in due to the new rearrangement of the store. However, they upgraded and rearranged the restrooms for a more convenient restroom experience. They have a large variety of products to choose from for very reasonable prices. Check-out is a breeze. Enjoy!

I like this place they have a good selection prices are very good And I will keep using it but I will not use it and use my debit card or credit card is a charge a different fee to veterans I was told today.

Clean, well lit. One of the nicest commissaries Ive ever seen. The aisle are wide with good signage. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Great experience!

I have visited this commissary now for over six months. In those 6 months I have been about 8 times. I have never seen a commissary run so poorly. They never have more than 2 maybe 3 cashiers and the lines are always long. I have been the week of payday and the weeks before or after and always the same result. Today there was very little meat out and a lot of the shelves were empty. I will return one more time to see if it has gotten better. If not, Ill write to the Commanding General and Command Sgt Maj to see what they can do. If they have no control over their commissary, Ill shop at Ft Gordon, Ga. I have always shopped the commissaries. I am from Camp Lejeune, NC and I am a retire United States Marine and I loved the commissary on New River Air Station.

The selection is awesome, the prices are great and the meat cant be beat.To all of the 1 and 2 star reviews, I challenge you all to go to ANY of the off base stores and get the quality and prices for BRAND NAME items at lower prices.If you spend $200.00 at Bi-Lo and $200.00 at the commissary, you will definitely see how much more you get at the commissary. If I could leave negative stars I would!!!The management is pathetic. I understand returns with out receipt isn’t possible. But an exchange is the way it has always been so to be told that and then go about shopping only to come back up and be told the exact opposite is ridiculous. As a service member I’m upset by the customer service this women provided and will make sure I never shop here again.

Well organized and clean, but I think the prices have gone up or something. Its really not even worth the 30 minute ride anymore. Tax free, but end up paying more than another store that is only 5 minutes away from me with the same stuff....

Nice place with lots of great items but the prices are just as high or even higher than anywhere else. The only advantage is no taxes so is it worth it to drive the distance and save $.65? I think not. Not what it used to be

The commissary has great value on many things especially meat. I wish they offered some off-brand options and I wish their produce selection was a little bit better. Fresh seafood would also be a great option.

Friday 12 April 2019 whats the first time I had entered a commissary in 25 years. It was awesome to see the same quality products and reasonable prices. And what Ive missed coupons on the Shelf. I shall be returning to the commissary in the near future

This visit was to resupply perishable items in the household. My son and I was able to select and gather all the items that we planned to purchase. From bread, beans, bread, meat and produce, the choices were good and of course the market prices are well below normal supermarket prices. As usual, the commissary is impeccably clean and orderly with superb service from all associates. It is always a delight to shop at the Ft. Jackson Commissary!

I just believe that they change a lot prices change, they been having some bad meat in the freezer,plus some of there snacks been tasting like chemicals like the blueberry muffin,chocolate chip muffin the ones in the box. Theyre usually on point but lately theyre been slacking a lot of items that they are selling. I still go there but Ill make sure I check the expiration date on everything I purchased from there even the ones that doesnt expire to next year also some of the items are bad once you open it but it is a good place nice and clean kind people I just wish that day start paying close attention of the item they put out to sell.

This commissary has gotten worse in the last 1.5 years. I see less and less products here anymore that I used to be able to buy. On top of that the 5% surcharge make seemingly cheaper items actually more expensive than Aldi and Lidl.

Visited with s friend who gave me a tour of the base and commissary. It was very clean, and nicely organized. I was distressed to see their pricing of the necessary items for military families, as I knew most prices I checked were higher than a general grocery off base.Perhaps they charge for convenience of being on base, but it was distressing for me to see. Id like to think they would reduce prices for our military and vets.

I liked it I really did. They seem to have a good selection in a organized fashion. I have to eat gluten free so I was happy to see how many selections they had for me. Our last, commissary did not have as much and it was much bigger. I will definitely be back.

Its a Commissary, prices are second to none. The store is clean and the second best I have seen in the world. The delicatessen is not bad, and the sandwiches that are made there are amazing.Last note: the Sushi is AMAZING! Its made fresh and tastes awesome.
