They were prompt and professional in helping me with my AR. Nice guys who are professional with a sense of humor.
Just moved into the area recently, I like to do most of my own work, as I enjoy the art.I just got a new upper and was removing the original hand-guard to install a new one, got 5 out of the 6 screws out before stripping the last one out worse than any other I have seen.I called M&L, left a message. They got back to me shortly and said bring it in. I brought it in on a Friday around noon and was told they will fix it when they can, likely by the next week.I was called later on that day around 2:30pm and they had gotten to it and fixed it. Charged me a very fair amount, where I felt the need to tip for their time and efforts.Highly recommended, do not hesitate! On the grounds of customer service and fixing the problem A+ . Good to go!
My 12ga semi auto broke and I couldn’t figure out how to fix it despite spending an hour or so working on it. I took it here, and the man working (Am employee of Mike’s) was able to replace the broken extractor pin with a pin from another firearm, allowing the shotgun to cycle again. He didn’t charge me either, but I gave him a $20 because he saved me having to buy a new pin or having to ship it to the company. Overall, I highly recommend M&L Gunworks and intend to go there again if I ever have another issue with my shotgun. They are polite, professional, and prompt.
Best gunsmith in town! Mike is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, & professional. Every experience that Ive had at M & L has been top notch!
To all of the negitive reviews on here about time taking long ect. Remember this quality takes time I have had guns at a gunsmith for almost 2 years but it was done right. As far as M&L I have had one job so far done with them time turnaround was good job was good and done right looking at a second project for them to do I like them.
Moved from Alaska to Columbia MO a little over a year ago and always had to send my guns out of state or travel by car over 300 miles to have gunsmithing jobs performed. So far M&L has performed 3 jobs (trigger jobs, barrel cut and crowns, etc). Their work is first class and turnarounds are fast. I hope they continue to stay in business for a long time as I have other projects planned for the future.
Impressed by the quick turn around, fair prices and great service.
Mike is the man for the job.. knowledgeable and personable.. if your in need of anything including nfa transfers skip the kids as the other places and get the guy that knows how the game is played... many years in the biz gives him a wealth of knowledge on the process as well as the products gives him an edge that cannot be duplicated by the newer start ups...
Mike diagnosed my pistols problem within minutes of me walking through the door. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using him again! Would recommend this business to anyone in need of their services.
The man I spoke with seemed very knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue I was having with my shotgun in five minutes that I couldnt figure out after hours of Googling. The price of having an expert look at my firearm was more than fair. I will definitely come back to M&L when I need a gunsmith.
Mike is by far the best gunsmith Ive gone to in years! Knowledgeable easy to talk too and always fair. If you need anything for your firearms hes the man.
These dudes are absolute masters of their craft. Ive had three guns fixed by them, the most recent of which was well over a hundred years old with parts that havent been made in about as long. They had it back up and working within a day. The price hasnt even been all that steep any time Ive done it. Cant recommend these guys enough.
Great service! Fixed my Mossberg 500, did a great job! If you need your gun worked on this is the place to get it repaired.
Had a rifle glass, pillar bedded, and a timney trigger I stalled by these gentleman, great work and timely turn around. I will use them again in the near future.
Mikes expertise and professionalism make me come back here for all my gunsmithing needs. He is willing to discuss any project you have in mind. His prices are fair too.
Mike has had a Ar-10 of mine going on 6 months to be cerakoted he originally said 3 weeks well three months into it he said the guy who was doing the cerakoting did it in the wrong color so here i am 3 more months later and he at one point tells me its done that he just have to go get it and one week he said he had to deal with family matters so he was busy then one week he said the guy doing the cerakoting was sick and didnt want to take the chance at getting sick. I have stayed calm through this the whole time till now. I cant get anyone to answer i leave messages with my number and dont even get a call back. This has been my expiereince so i can not recommend them.
Ive had nothing but good experiences every time I go. He is very educated and helpful. Ill continue my FFL transfers, class 4s, and gunsmith work with him.
Absolutely my Gun Smith from now on. Great down to earth but professional service.
Fixed my pistol in a timely and professional manner. Great service.
This man is a master expert! I trust him with anything when it comes to firearms! Great guy and great service!...
Had my gun for 8 weeks when he told me it would only take a week or two to get the work done. After 8 weeks I went to see what was going on, and they didn’t begin working on the gun yet it. I just had to take it and find someone else to help me. Terrible
Old school knowledgeable gunsmiths.
The only gunsmith in town I trust.
Great service, small town feel.
Great work from a great guy.
Very nice and knowledgeable guy!
Best in town!
