We have purchased at least three mattresses from The OMC. We really liked all of them, until the most recent. We have had the mattress for two years. Over the past year, my wife and I have had back pain. We noticed that the mattress started to sag in the areas where we sleep. We have been faithful to turn and flip the mattress, as prescribed. The service with The OMC was alway good. Theo, at the Concord store was very responsive. He came out to measure and check on the mattress. He concluded that the support on the inside of the mattress had failed. He sent it to the factory to have the inside parts replaced. After the replacement of the inside parts, Theo said we had a brand new mattress on the inside. The support was no better. Six months later, we are still having back pain, and the sagging is very clear. We roll to the outer edges of the bed. When one of us lays in the middle of the bed, we can feel far more support. We have had many conversations with Theo. He has tried to help, but his answer is that we just picked the incorrect mattress for us. I guess we did. The OMC is not the same as it used to be. I am certain that we will look for our next mattress from somewhere else.

The manager Theo met us at the door and directed us to the mattress we had already determined we wanted since we are return customers. He didnt try to sell us on any other more expensive mattress. The delivery was painless and we are satisfied with our mattress. Thanks!

Theo was helpful but place a little pricey

Top Notch Products, easy to do business with, courteous and helpful employees & managers. Absolute pleasure to do business with. Very concise and to the point, explained all product warranty and return policies in detail, before sale was closed. Upon arrival for pick up of my mattress I was asked to inspect both the mattress and frame before It was loaded and sign off. Very thorough and professional. Best mattress buying experience EVER!

My husband, son, and I stopped into The Original Mattress Company Concord Mills location, where we were greeted by Theo. He allowed us to peruse the store and try out the various floor displays without feeling pressured to buy or rush to make any decisions. We considered our options and returned one week later, when Theo helped us place our order. Our latex mattresses and adjustable bases were delivered about a week later. They were scheduled to be delivered sooner, but we asked Theo to reschedule to allow us time to have our new bedroom furniture delivered first. Weve been sleeping on our new mattresses and adjustable bases for two months and weve NEVER slept better. We absolutely LOVE the products AND the customer care we received from Theo! We have let family and friends try out our beds and they say, Ive got to get one of these! I tell anyone wholl listen that The Original Mattress Company is the way to go.

Entire process was great beginning with the sales associate who LISTENED to what I wanted, provided awesome service and stayed within my budget. Delivery was scheduled within a reasonable amount of time and I was given a 3 hour window as to when I would actually receive delivery. The driver called to let me know that they were running a little late but they were on the way. Once arrived they did an awesome job and took care not to hit the walls or light fixtures. Both delivery team members were professional and polite. Shortly after they left a representative called to apologize for being late in delivery and told me I would be refunded the delivery fee I had paid. I was surprised as I had not complained and had not asked for a refund, I understand that things happen. I was told it was their policy, they did not deliver within the 3 hour window and they were aware that my time was valuable.. Thats customer service! I love my new mattress & box spring and have told all my friends that The Original Mattress Factory knows the meaning of customer service.

Great products, great service!

Salesperson did not want to sell me a King mattress frame with delivery and install. His comments include: I’m not sure I even want to send my team over to do this job; I will do it myself for $25. I explained over and over that I was willing to pay for the delivery and install because it was a heavy mattress and needed two people. I ended up walking out and going across the street to another mattress company.

Theo was very helpful with our purchase. Every mattress is made to order, is double sided and has handles to aid in flipping. The turn around time was less than one week. The delivery was scheduled with a 3 hour window and the drivers called when they were 30 minutes away.

Please read the return policy on The Original Mattress Company before buying. You will find they have none! You buy it, no returns. I bought my set and after a week, knew I could not sleep on it. When I checked the policy, I knew I was out of luck( and money) It was not cheap either. So now I am just sleeping on a mattress 15 years old that was in the guest bedroom. Wish I had my money back!

We cant we prove a bait & switch occurred but we, too, feel like we got a completely different mattress than the one we tried in the showroom. We have been told that we need to give it more time (already been 5 months) or its because we got the low profile box spring instead of the regular. We were told to put a topper on it to make it softer. That seems unnecessary for a new $1500 matress. But, what are we to do? They are hiding safely behind their no return policy. We are stuck.

Feeling like we got a different mattress than we checked out at the show room. Been dealing with this mattress for 30 to 40 days now, even went by the store to see if it was all in our head. Seems like a much different mattress that we were given than we had purchased. Salesman says if we wait 60 more days the air will change the way it feels. The atmosphere will change it.hmmmmmmm we will see.......Seems like a lot of money to pay for a mattress that is so much different than the one on the showroom floor.
