Worked out well better price in store that I found online

Friendly, helpful, staff. Well-stocked office supplies with a copy and printing center.

Went to store to pick out chair for home office. Spent about an hour to find the right chair. No stock left so staff ordered online. Next day receive notification of order cancellation notice. Called to find out why, was told it was cancelled by me. No other explanation offered. Really dissapointed as I need a good chair for my back.EDIT: Went to store, staff was really helpful and sorted out the issue very promptly. I am very happy with the outcome.

It is 2:45 in the afternoon was just in this store and customer service was absolutely non existent. Even while Jeff Anderson the store manager was present unseen, but informed was in back of store. Stood at pick up counter for about 10-15 minutes waiting for assistance and none was received or even offered. The staff at the location doesnt seem to have proper training in customer service. One employee was witnessed to have actually been doing a great job helping and assisting customers while the rest werent. There was approximately 6maybe 7 employees working. Like I said poor customer service. Will be taking our business and business accounts elsewhere.

4/19/19 - approximately 8:30 PM - I was greeted by 2 employees as I walked into the store and the female employee asked me if I was looking for something in particular. I informed her I was looking for labels. She directed me to the labels. I was not finding the label that I needed so my husband asked the female employee if they had the 1 labels, and she proceeded to tell him if its not on the shelf, they dont carry it. Not once did her or the male employee even bother to come over and help. They just stood around chatting with each other.Horrible customer service!! Next time Ill drive to a different Office Depot or Staples. I will never do business at this store again, where I definitely was not treated like a customer!!!

First, kudos to Office Depot for adopting Apple Pay.I came here to return bubble mailers Id purchased at another location. The other location had wrung them up incorrectly but this location was willing to help out.I had bought them on a buy two, get one free deal and they refunded the price of two (my full purchase price). Which is pretty much cheating. And thoroughly awesome.

Love the Covington Office Max...I spoke with Kevin in the print shop about having a large pic printed and he asked for 24hrs notice to get it done...well, my mom being in the hospital, I called Kevin late afternoon the day before it had to be done and delivered by 8 am and he had it done within the hour! My friends daughter, unfortunately had to have surgery the day of her class pictures and was unable to be there in person, so with Kevin and Office Maxs help...A sweet, amazing, strong, stoic little girl was able to be present and accounted for on class picture day! Thank you so much Kevin and the rest of the Covington Office Depot team! Even worth the extra 20 min drive from my house to shop at this location even though I have one 5 min away!

Classic example of retail stores that do not get it, and do not compete with online retailers (not to the fault of this specific store, however). The only time I ever come here is for the convenience of needing an item faster than online delivery, but am often met with overpriced items. I will be surprised if this location lasts long as any time I have been in there it is practically empty.

They are more than willing to show you where item (s) you are looking for and recognize you if you have been there before. Willing to get chair for handicap person to sit on.

Had the worst experience with binding paperwork together. I brought some documents in (not many, only 6 booklets worth, each with about 30 pages per booklet) to be bound. The girl said Sir were an hour till close. I asked her, So, are you saying that these wont be bound tonight? When will they be complete? She responded in saying, Ill give you a call first thing when we open tomorrow morning. Theyll be done by then. This tells me that she was going to complete the job after hours. She didnt do that. The next morning I received no call, at noon I received no call. I gave them a call at about 3pm and asked to speak to the manger. I spoke with the store manager in recounting everything and I asked him, So you agree then that I should be getting at least some of my money back for the refusal of complying to what was promised? He agreed and told me that the paperwork was bound. When I arrived to pick them up, a few of the cover pages had a weird pink streak across them. I told him, I wouldnt pay for mistakes and needed them reprinted and bound. He did so, and the girl that made the mistake was there the whole time just staring me down with the most sinister look Ive seen from a female. I will not be doing my office work through this location again.

Needed a new computer. Found what i wanted on sale before i arrived. For a change i was not pressured or pushed into a bunch of add-ons. My questions were answered with knowledgability. Made my experience pleasurable.

Sometimes understaffed. Copy center gets it right. When you can get help, the people are helpful. Prices are acceptable. We use OD exclusively for our business printing and they give us amazing pricing.

Over priced!The staff seemed friendly but looked tried of smiling all the time. The classic look of not liking the job, underpaid, competing with online pricing, and over worked.I looked at office chairs that I could get for half the price online. What I was really needed was overpriced printer ink and I found it. These stores like to feed on slackers, like myself.I walked out of the store more depressed than a teenager just dumped.

I asked for a ink cartridge and I got it within 2 minutes he was spot-on helping us thank you very much for hiring the the right people.

The manager of the Covington store was a great help to me by using his own personal account and ordering a tax book for me and having it sent directly to my house . I visited several other stores looking for this book and no one carried it. Thank you for your assistance and going beyond general customer assistance.

Lame customer experience. Had package that i had to drop off with prepaid label at the shipping center and they would not even give a packing slip for the label. Told me to go buy some tape for 2 slips of tape to put on, thats ridiculous. I shipped though them before and no problem but guess when you drop off they cant help you.

Always very helpful, Kyle was great in helping me with questions and shipping items!

Excellent place to get your business and home office supplies

We went to this Covington OD location on 8/29. There were no workers inside the store wandering around to answer any questions. When we went up to the checkout there was one worker doing her job and another that seemed to be confused by his terminal doing nothing. He eventually walked away. When we finally got up to the checker she tried to call to have someone bring us our product, but no one was answering her calls for help. We left, at which time there were about 5 customers waiting in line and no new cashier coming to help. We went to Staples in Kent where they had a very helpful employee who did come up to us, helped us select a product, took us to a checkout terminal, checked us out and helped carry our purchase to our car. Night and day.

A fun place to go for those of us that consider a trip to the office supply store an erotic experience. Lots of specials and impulse purchase items. The staff is friendly and helpful. They recycle toner and inkjet cartriges.

Terrible experience. Went to buy a new printer in an emergency. I swiped my card and got a text from my bank that the transaction went through. The cashier insisted it didnt go through and that I swipe my card again. I swiped my card again and it went through again. Now I get to wait 10 days to get my money back from the bank for a duplicate transaction. You guys are terrible Office Depot Covington!

The staff are always polite and very quick to help you find whatever youre looking for and they almost always have it. If they had everything it would obviously be five stars...LOL

They had what I was looking for and were courteous. Hadnt started the sale we were hoping for yet, we just jumped the gun.

Not the best option. Prices are higher than others and staff are not very friendly. You can find more varieties of what you need in other stores easily.

I go here for last minute printing, and they always make an effort to take good care of me.
