Thats more than I pay for 4 new lights with batteries included!Bought 24 of them on Amazon for $9.99 and those batteries lasted me all season.While B.Plus keeps batteries in stock that most places dont, they sure make you pay for it if you need your battery asap.If you can wait a day, its probably worth it. Saved over 1300% by passing on this place. Even Walmart was selling 10 for $4.99 online, same fricken battery!I see where the PLUS comes from. Yikes 😬

The best local selection of batteries and bulbs, fair pricing, combined with really friendly and patient service (Connor helped me) means they get 5 stars! Convenient location right off Rt 14 with ample parking.I bought a motorcycle battery, an excellent LED flashlight, and a couple ear bud cable organizers (“Apple cores”). I also was able to recycle some old T-12 and T-8 fluorescent bulbs (there is a small fee), which was wonderfully convenient. I’ll rarely ever buy bulbs or batteries anywhere else in the future. Great store.

Great customer service, above and beyond!I tried to track down an obscure $3.99 item and a gentleman named Will was awesome! I visited the store because the website said it was in stock, it was not. I went home and ordered it for pickup at the Crystal Lake store. Will called and said he could get it but I may have to buy a box of 12 and who knows when they arrive, I said OK. The next day, Will called and said the warehouse said they get a request for this part once every 4 years, but they have 10! My original order was $1.49 and he refunded me the $1.49 and he gave me the part number so I could have it shipped to my home. The web site would not let me ship it to my home, or maybe it was me, but Will saw the order designated for Crystal Lake store and called and offered to deliver it if necessary. Awesome Customer Service! The little part is important to me and Will was awesome!

Because I was lied to. I clearly asked the clerk if I was going to get a Samsung brand battery & he answered yes. After I paid for my repair, he told me they installed a piece of junk Rayovac battery. I was lied to & cheated at the Crystal Lake store.

I took them up on the offer and was also sent a coupon via email. The store associates had a bit of difficulty figuring out how to do a partial refund but we got it close enough after about 15 minutes. I am updating my review by adding one star as they attempted to make things right even though my experience wasnt horrible but wasnt perfect. A lot of companies wouldnt do that so they will continue to have my business.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Brought an old Galaxy S6 in for a battery replacement. An older phone to be sure, but in perfect condition. Made an appointment online but ended up waiting in line at the store anyway as there was only a single person working (and doing his best.) I think the online appointment thing is just a lame attempt to space things out for the employees in the store (but it does give you a 10% coupon.)We decided to leave the phone with the overworked gentleman and he gave us a 45 minute estimate, but I tried to extend some grace and give him some extra time telling him he can just call us when its ready (I hope he appreciated it, I couldnt tell.) We went home to wait.After about 90 minutes, I figured that was long enough and headed back out to the area, either the phone would be ready or we would get some dinner. I wasnt a half-mile from my house when the gentleman called and said our phone was ready. Perfect!Picking up the phone, I noticed there was a blemish in the lower left of the front glass where the prying must have occurred to get at the sealed battery. The gentleman offered no apology which was a bit disappointing and instead said Its only cosmetic. Technically, he is correct - it is only cosmetic, but its also true that it is in a worse condition than when I dropped it off...cosmetically. The battery was replaced and works much better so the job I paid him to do was done well - its just now theres a cosmetic issue on the front glass.I know these sealed batteries and all-glass phones can be tricky which is exactly why I paid extra to have a store do it for me. I guess I expected perfect work or at least some kind of offer when the work was less than stellar - like well fix the glass for you or some kind of extra discount since that didnt go so well. As I said, we didnt even get a Sorry (and in fairness, he didnt seem like he was having a good day.)Since it was my sons phone, I gave him the option of what he wanted to do and he didnt want to push the issue because he just wanted his phone back - I mean its been gone a whole 90 minutes! So we paid the man and left the store. My son is happy that his battery lasts longer now but I can tell he was a bit disappointed that he accepted the new blemish.

Service was great. Will took time to examine my phone and noticed to small cracks to the screen. I had the battery replaced along with a new screen, for a very reasonable price. Within 20 minutes my phone was ready for pick-up, could not be happier. Will recommend this store to family and friends.

Good pricing for name brand car batteries. That hasnt meant an occasional lemon, but they back the batteries they sell with a two year warranty. Very few places provide prorated guarantees on car batteries these days, and Batteries Plus Bulbs isnt one of them.

I needed to get a new fob for my vehicle, as well as have a new chipped key cut. They were able to accommodate both requests, and at a considerable discount to the dealership. I have been using both the new key and the fob now for well over a week and have had no issues. They were knowledgeable, courteous and fast. If I find myself needing any thing like this in the future, this will be my first stop without question.

I Scheduled an IPhone battery replacement a week in advance. I received 2 appointment confirmations clearly stating the intent of my appointment to replace my IPhone battery. I arrive on time for the appointment only to be informed they don’t have the battery in stock. My indictment is not of the apologetic polite employee but of the how and why Batteries Plus made an appointment with clear intent, phone specificity, and ample time for a part they didn’t have in stock. If you have to set aside time and drive more than 15minutes… call ahead first.

My boyfriend recently had his phone repaired there by Will, and he could not have been more pleased. They replaced his battery for an affordable price and in a timely manner. He has also had his screen repaired there a couple times and has been satisfied both times. Overall, a great store that offers affordable pricing and excellent customer service!

This is place (between Panda Express and Fed Ex Kinkos on Rt 14 in Crystal Lake, IL, near Planet Fitness and the here-for-now Barnes & Noble) is worth checking out! Batteries, flashlights, lamps and bulbs of every kind for great prices. Plus their phone tech service is fast, affordable, efficient and absolutely first rate. I could not recommend this place more highly!

They had the battery I needed in stock and I was able to pick it up in less than an hour. It was the same price as Amazon and I trust a local store far more than getting it shipped from a possibly unreliable source. Great staff as well, super friendly.

When I purchased the battery on-line I did not realize that a default store was selected. I figured the store would be selected by the Zip Code entered. Any way, I called the store and Will worked with me on the phone to cancel the order and then called the store closer to me to arrange pick up for the battery I needed. When I got to the store closet to my home they had the battery picked and waiting for me at the counter when I arrived.

Bought a $50 screen protector (SIMPLE SNAP brand) for my phone which lasted 4 days, I asked for a return or exchange and was denied. The associate working did offer me a discount on a new screen protector but it appears to be the same quality as the $8 product on Amazon. If you can afford to wait for shipping Id recommend shopping online, at least for phone accessories.

I hate to write a bad review, but I felt it was deemd necessary. I went in to get mine and my wifes phone (S8+), which covered by warranty after paying $100 deductible. First time it took over 3 hours, because they were short staffed. No problem, Mark(Team Member) was pleasant and apologetic. I go pickup my phone, and the screen didnt set correct, and he tried and cracked right on the spot. No problem, I thought were all humans, he said hed order parts for me and my wife and arrive by Monday and they would call me. One week passed by, I called Friday evening asked and said he (Mark) would try to get them done this is around 6-6:30. I comeback at 7:30, as I was told 1 hour Nope phone is not done. I got at 8, and Nope not done finally at this point I go at 8:30 and phone was done. I really felt horrible for Mark, because I finally had lost it. SO I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT READS THIS, BECAUSE THEY WILL CLOSE IF THIS KEEPS GOING ON. I ALSO FEEL VERY SAD FOR THE EMPLOYEES, BECAUSE YOU SHOULD HAVE 2 EMPLOYEES AT ALL TIMES.

I ordered a new battery on their user-friendly website, jump started my car and drove to the store. I was fortunate to meet Will, who installed my battery. Even more important, he was friendly, competent, fast and polite. The whole experience restored my faith in what at times feels like impersonal and ineffective service. I really recommend this business!!

Store personnel, Mark, was great. Had a key fob programmed and it was proving problematic. Mark focused on my need while his manager assisted inside customers. It took over an hour to get this done, but he was very polite and never showed any frustration. He eventually overcame the problem and everything with the remote works great. Great customer service by both store employees!

Fixed my iPhone phone screen after I cracked it. I had a coupon for a few dollars off, pretty good price for fixing the screen. My phone was fixed within one day, dropped it off before close and they had it fixed about a half hour after opening the next day. Super satisfied with my phone screen. High quality, works well. Staff was very nice and obviously helpful.

Went in for a phone screen repair. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff. Was able to schedule an appointment same day which was convenient. Phone was finished ahead of schedule and the quality of the work was equivalent to the factory installed screen. Will be returning for any battery/phone repair needs in the future.

They completely broke my phone. I went in to get the tiny crack on my screen fixed by getting a new screen so that I could trade it in for a new phone and before they did this, they tested out the phone and everything else was perfect except a speaker problem that I told them I didn’t want fixed because I was trading it in anyways. When I get back, he basically tells me that now my phone won’t even turn on and that somehow the charger box is broke and it’ll cost me another 90$ to fix that even though it was working perfectly fine before. I have my dad call and then he suddenly changes what he says, saying it’ll be free to fix the charger box since he knows he broke it. Long story short, he can’t fix it, he send some it to corporate for 5 days and it still can’t be fixed. So they broke my phone just trying to fix a tiny crack on the screen and I had to buy a new one.

Store is easy to find, and located near the Barnes and Noble in Crystal Lake. Parking is free and available. Mark was very helpful in finding a compatible battery for my dogs Invisible Fence collar. The store is clean and well lit, and easy to navigate (the batteries and bulbs are segmented so you can easily go to the proper section of the store). Store hours are clearly marked/displayed and reflected properly in the Google Maps description.

Reasonable price, very friendly and knowledgeable. But after 2 days my new battery was draining. Returned and they cleaned the charging port, but still battery draining. I returned again and after 3 hours they said they could not replace the battery because the rear glass was cracked. When I checked it in with them it was not cracked. He insisted it was, but it was NOT. You need to admit you dropped it or maybe when you tried to open it!! Now im out $50, have a dead battery and a broken rear case. Very disappointed.

Had my sons iphone screen replaced and these guys did a great job. While I was there I showed them an issue I was having with my charging port and right away they suggested it might need to be cleaned out, which they did on the spot and now it works like new again. Very happy with the service. I think the employee that helped us was named William, but dont remember 100%.

Ordered and paid online. I was the only customer in the store but waisted 1/2 hour to pick up my order. Battery was ready but employee was new and had problems working computer. The supervisor that was there told new employee he showed him what to do 2 times before so he didnt help. Meanwhile I was left standing and waiting because boss refused to assist. I think this was the bosses unconcern about the customer to make a point with the new employee. I dont fault the new person, we all need a learning period and he was very courteous and apologize. This was on the BOSS !!!!Im handicapped and suffer severe pain when standing and waiting. This could have been avoided.Battery was fine and worked great.

20 months ago I bought a battery from them for my motorcycle. Battery started to fail (of course right during the warm spell). I called them Monday afternoon and inquired about the length of the warranty. Unfortunately I only bought the 12 month battery. The person on the phone said that since I was already a customer he would make me a great deal on another new one if I needed it. I should drop it off for testing. I dropped off my battery on Tuesday night to get tested. They said they would call me Wednesday morning. I had to call them in the afternoon on Wednesday to find out the results of the test. The battery was not holding a full voltage charge. They only had another 12 month battery available; so I told them I would take it. I stopped there Wednesday night. I paid $59 for the new one. The old one cost me $51. Not sure where the great deal comes in. I could have walked away but I trusted them; and the $5 or $10 savings would have been used up in time and gas. Next time I will have to get answers before I make the deal. My error, but at least I kept my word

Very favorable. I had purchased the battery online the night before. Walked in, gave my name and they were waiting for me. Was told to meet them out back. I explained that I would need a jump. They said no problem and 20 minutes later my truck had a new battery in it. My installers name was Will. He was courteous and knowledgeable of Battery Pluss other products as well. Their batteries are also made in the USA another plus for me as well.

These guys dont know what theyre doing when working with mobile phones. I brought my sons iPhone 6s in to have the charging port repaired. When I came to pick it up, the guy told me how much it cost and then said that they ruined the phone in the process of installing the new charging port. I said you want me to pay you for ruining the phone? Yes, he did. So I said I needed to talk to the manager. He, of course, said there would be no charge and theyd replace the phone. So they replaced it with an iPhone 6 that had far less storage than our previous phone. So I had to work with them to get them to replace it with a 6s with the right storage. That was a pain.At the same time, I explained that my Samsung Note5 took a hit and the camera took bad pics. They ordered a new lens and replaced it, but the problem was still there. Apparently the problem was the camera and not the lens, and they just had me pay for the lens for nothing. They also said they had to replace the back of my camera because there was a small crack in it. They replaced it with a back of a completely different color. And within a week, it was filled with cracks. I had had the Note5 at least two years with no cracks, and now I had cracks galore.When I took the phone in for repair at ubreakifix, the technician there asked why the camera lens was in the wrong way. Apparently when Batteries Plus replaced my camera lens, they put it in upside down. Sweet.I wish I could give less than 1 star. Wish I could give negative stars.
