Dustin got us back up and running when our internet went out and something glitched causing our Sage accounting software not to open on our workstations... it took a bit of explaining and dealing with Sage support on our end, but he took the time to understand what we needed, and was able to get it back working how it was before! We really appreciate to professionalism and timely manner he is able to work with us when needed.

I was not happy with the results. They did a simple reinstall of the operating system but they didnt properly do it nor did they back up the hard drive/SSD correctly. There are several ways to do what i needed but they are amateurs with their final words were Im sorry theres nothing we can do about it. Thats not acceptable when your a small business. Plus it took them over a week to come to that conclusion. I took it to another guy in Lake Zurich and he basically said the same thing. Again amateurs. Look any computer guy can install and OS but it takes experience to bring your computer back to what you had before your problem. A truly knowledgeable and experienced computer guy knows how to fix those problems that require a bit more skill and finess. I took it to a place in Chicago that Ive been before and literally within 2 hours they called and said they have all my files back. They sat down with me while I went through the laptop to see if I was completely happy with it. There was a few changes i wanted and they made a number of suggestions to avoid further issues down the road. If I would have taken my computer to the third guy in the first place it would have been even better and faster. The third guy had over thirty years experience while the csi kid looked like he just got out school. If youre going to mess with someones livelihood you better know what you are doing or at the very least be able to put it back to the way it was when I first brought it in. As with most things experience and passion will win in the end and are things you can get from a text book.
When I needed my now 4yr old laptop serviced, I returned to CSI. Recommended. Courteous, thorough, very helpful and quickly responsive to customer concerns. My (out of warranty) workhorse is running reliably again. Thank you!

Brought my lap top for diagnoses, was told a price at that time for labor by Kevin Adler the President and was told i would hear by about 1 pm what they found. I didnt hear until after 4 pm and the person who called said he couldnt even test it because my mini port was shot, I asked about putting the cracked screen back on and he said yeah for $$$ I said thats not the price I was quoted earlier for labor is that because Im providing the screen? He didnt have an answer . I picked up my laptop and took it to Echelon and they fixed it ! Guess what the mini port was just fine the CSI guy just didnt know what he was doing. I left a message for the president but havent heard back so Kevin Adler President of CSI really doesnt care. poor customer care price changing and no follow up.
Brought my laptop in and they had it back working for me in less than 2 hours!!!! This will be my new GO-TO for ANY computer related issues!!!! Thank You CSI!!!
