I have Fun just walking around the store. Most of their are well made. Ive tried a lot of them and only a couple disappointed.

This place has it all. Love to just look around. They have a solution for any tool need

Just about everything is made in China. That is my only complaint. Harbor freight is by far the cheapest place to fill a tool box or buy a one time use tool. They have some higher quality stuff but expect low quality tools. The cut off wheels for the angle grinders are suprising good quality for the cost.

Prices have gone way up and no 20% off coupons I dont know what youre doing but there might be better choices now

Only been to this location twice but it’s clean organized and employees are helpful. 1 of 2 I highly recommend. Depending on what your interested in depends on the quality of the products. Just be sure to look up the reviews and try some research before jumping in on the more big bucks items. So far no disappointments yet.

Great place to get lower price tools as long as youre not making a living with them. I do wish they had more knowledgeable personnel working there.

While the tools and other items they sell are not of the highest quality they have a lot of everything extremely pleasant employees or staff and do their best to honour everything that is returned For the average household what they sell is perfect

Some people dont like the tools here, but Ive always had good luck. They always have great deals and they have a lot of different things that would be hard to find anyplace else. The coupons are a bit goofy, but there is a coupon app that is helpful and the staff will even look up coupons deals for you. If you are looking for tools, this is the place to be.

Best prices on any tools and equipment youd need. Quality isnt always the best especially on larger equipment but for things like smaller hand tools and protective equipment you cant beat harbor freight.

Walked in to return a recalled chainsaw and spoke to Mason (sp?). He called Chris up front for managers approval. Exchanged the chainsaw with a little bit of information (name, address, etc). Quick, friendly service and easy to work with. Had a huge issue at the Round Lake Beach store the day before. Thank you both at the Crystal Lake location for a positive experience.

Terrible service, I had to ask 4 different employees about a grout trowel before somebody finally show me where it should be and didnt have it in stock anyways I spent half an hour trying to look and nobody would help me

The prices were good but cashier got a little snippy when using coupons and asking fir the free gift. Dont advertise the free gift if uou dont want to actually give it away. But the store was clean and staff were helpful on the floor.

Got to be a little picky about what you buy there. If you are careful you can save money on the lesser known brands that they carry. I enjoy just browsing. They do have a big selection of tools.

When you need that one tool that you don’t think you’ll need all the time, this is the place. Things here can easily be 75% cheaper than other stores. You do get what you pay for, but there are still some great tools here

Had trouble putting my engine lift together and both me and the employee figured it was a defective part which turned out to not be the case. Steve walked me through the entire process and was extremely helpful. All employees there are very nice and willing to help but Steve was awesome.

They seem to never have the stuff that you want and their coupon is so restrictive its useless

Not sure I would call them a hardware store more of a tools stores. They dont really have the fasteners like a hardware store would amd harrdware stores would not carry special tools for work on cars and trucks like these guys do.

This is probably the best Harbor Freight location I have been to. The staff is super friendly and its always fun to wander around here and find good stuff to buy. Some of the tools are an absolute steal if you know what to look for.

Love this place but what tool guy doesnt. Staff and managers are very friendly here. They will work with you on floor models as well as damaged items.

They have literally everything you need and a coupon any time you need one. I love the freebies they have in their ads as well.

I love this place for this year fact that if you need a tool to do a project but youre probably only going to use it one time their tools will get you through and you dont have to spend an arm and a leg I wouldnt recommend them necessarily for professionals but they do have a lifetime guarantee on a lot of their hand tools so if you just starting out why not give it a shot

You need it, they have it. Very good prices and their not afraid to help. They help even when your not sure of the (how tos).keep in mind, you get what you pay for. Want cheap? Or Quality. They have it and your done.

This place is great, though I dont recommend their 18v battery operated tools. Lots of other great stuff to be found here, however.

The management was very helpful with what I was looking for and recall information. I like the fact that they gave me a copy of what was reinrecalled and explain to me the differences. I shot there quite often.

This place is always busy, has great prices and really offers a service to the community. I love looking at other peoples carts at this store because you can just see what kind of projects they are working on, like car repairs, woodworking and other stuff. It reminds me a little of Enco in Chicago way back that had the lowest cost tools around, except this is more retail and DIY oriented. The quality of the tools I have purchased at Harbor Freight have been better than I expected, a real value.

It normally is all good but they where all out of tap and die sets and when asking someone if so they were kinda like rude and didnt want to be bothered
