The individual who works at the store is incredibly rude and has terrible customer service. Look at how he responds to patrons who had a bad experience with the store??? Tacky. Very unprofessional. It doesn’t matter how long you have been open, with an arrogant attitude like that people will not return. I don’t care if he has “two black sons” or not he is extremely prejudice. I know it’s slim pickings as far as beauty supplies in this area but, do NOT shop at Beauty Discounters. Shop a black own beauty store where they actually appreciate your business.

Ive been going to this store for years, since about the age of sixteen, the original owners were always so kind and helpful and their son is very funny and sweet like his parents. Prices are very good and they have just about everything you need, much better than Sallys in my opinion 🤣🤷, they offer a lot of things for people of color that you cant normally find in other mainstream beauty supplies stores. I was saddened to hear of the passing of the adorable lady who ran the place, took me by surprise to be honest but apparently the store is on good hands. I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

The owner was beyond rude and chastised me like a child for missing signs that said not try on wigs. As I was apologizing for my mistake he snatched the merchandise out of my hand and walked away while mumbling that I was “unbelievable”. I will never set foot in this establishment again.

It used to be an elderly couple with a pug at the old location. They were sweet kind people. There is a middle age guy whom owns it now. They may have retired and he may be their relative. He is extremely knowledgeable and very kind as well. Every time I shop he answers my questions on products and styles. He is humorous and always gives me counter products to try free of charge. The prices are cheap and you can return them if you’re not satisfied. If you are seeking products or hair he doesn’t carry, he will offer to order for you and call you when it’s in stock. It’s a smaller space and less products and clutter than the previous location. However the customer service is astronomical.

Love this place. Has everything you need. The lady that work there has passed away. I think her son is running it now. She was a beautiful person. God bless her. She is definitely missed.

First time, I love this place! The lace wigs are awesome, dont judge before you have one taken down and put it on! Just bought 2 for 130.00. the lady and and man are knowledgeable and so helpful. Large variety and great service. The lady helped me put it on take pics and worked with me very patiently. Thank you!

Local stop for hair products of all kinds; wigs, supplies for braids, shampoos, conditioning products, relaxer, dyes, combs, clips, anything you need to get your hair done. Also a fairly solid makeup selection including matte lipsticks and tools! Dont expect the highest quality products, or many safe and organic options.

They don’t have a wide variation of hair or hair products they are really old fashioned and not up to date with what products they need and also the new guy that I think is the son of the owners that works there now is very very racist I had serval bad experiences with him I will no longer come to this business ever
