Ive done three tune-ups with Norma and her family, and the service is consistently great. You feel that they care. They seem to work with every budget, and are not the type to try to pointlessly upsell you. If the part in question is working and doesnt need to be replaced, they will tell you and want you to continue using it! True fixers, a rare sight nowadays. Thank you Abba Padre Bikes and Books!

Ive been a customer of this shop for well over 8 years and bought my first hybrid bike here! Freddy and Abe never fail to get my bike back into tip-top shape. Service is always prompt, friendly, and professional. Prices are excellent for all the work they do as well! Highly recommend.

Why do I like, err scratch that, LOVE this place? ... oh let me count the ways. (1) Best customer service and always a smile, (2) best workmanship on your bike, (3) lowest prices of anyone Ive seen! How many places can you get the best service work done AND at the lowest price? And good, honest, happy and funny people too!To be clear, I did not buy my bike from them. I bought a bike online and had Abba Padre assemble it so that the warranty stays in tact. He did a quick and superb job, and didnt make me feel bad/weird/odd that I didnt buy the bike from him. The bike had some small damage to a part from shipping damage and Abba Padre replaced it for free without me even asking, before UPS even had a chance to finish the insurance claim! That was one less thing for me to worry about when getting my shiny new bike... so grateful.Now that I am aware of this shop, my next bike will be purchased from here.I cannot comment on their books, but I am sure theyre great.

When I first arrived I wasn’t sure how this shop would be, it is very small and unassuming. I decided to trust the good reviews here and give it a try. The service was great, they called me when my bike tune up was complete and stayed open late so I could pick it up after work. The price was really reasonable (my service came out to $55), the turn around was 4 days, and they did a great job. Would definitely recommend for a quick tune up!

5 Stars are legit. While I was suspect at first of a perfect score I now know why, this family owned bike repair shop is excellent. Brought in 2 Treks for tuneups, theyre almost 2 years old, and they left the shop looking and riding brand new. I didnt expect such a thorough cleaning as well. They are so nice and supply so a great value service, definitely call them first.

I bought my bike yesterday from Libreria Abba Padre and had a great experience! When you first look at the place you do a second glance to be sure your in the right place. I felt I had stumbled in on one of L.A.s true mom/pop shops. The owners were VERY courteous in helping me find the right bike to fit my budget. The best place for bike repair. Had my izip Dash ebike serviced for trueing the spokes and hydraulic brakes adjustment. Came back great! Rides like a dream! I am wondering if they sprinkled some extra pixie dust or something! Feels a lot faster and efficient!

WHILE ON NY WAY TO MY DOCTORS OFFICE, MY FRONT BIKE TIRE BECAME FLAT. MAKING ME WALK MY BIKE TO MY APPOINTMENT. WHILE WAITING 2 SEE THE DOCTOR, I WAS ON MAP QUEST FOR A REPAIR SHOP FOR MY TIRE. THIS STORE WAS ONE OF THREE THAT WERE SUGGESTIONS BY MAPS AND I CHOOSE TO GO TO ABBA. 1. THEY HAD THE LOWEST PRICE FOR A NEW INNER TUBE REPLACEMENT PLUS LABOR. (SEEMS, VERY FEW SHOPS DO PATCHING OF INNER TUBES). ANY WHO, WHILE WAITING FOR MY REPAIR, I CAME ACROSS A LIGHT SET AND A BELL. AL TOGETHER, I PAID 30 DOLLARS FOR SERVICE AND WAS PROUD TO WORK WITH A MOM & POP ESTABLISHMENT. LOCATED ON SEPULVEDA BOULEVARD B4 CULVER AVENUE IN CULVER CITY, THEY HAVE EXACTLY WHAT THEY ADVERTISE. CHECK THEM OUT. GIVE THEM A CALL, AND THEY WILL RETURN UR CALLS BACK ( A PLUUUUUUUS). THEY ALSO HAVE ACCESSORIES AS WELL. TOOTLES POODLES !!!

It was 5 oclock on a Friday evening and I realized my bike had a flat. Not having any of the equipment to fix it, I looked up bike shops in my neighborhood and came across this one. I walked my bike there by 5:15 and handed it over to the repairman. He fixed it right then and there. I was out the door by 5:30.I could not have asked for a better experience. Friendly staff, quick service, and very affordable.

Freddy is a genuine awesome guy. He cares about his customers and will help you even if your on a tight budget. He has assisted me in building a fixie, cruiser, road bike and even a motorized bike. Highly, Highly recommended.

The service was flexible and fast (2PM drop off was ready by 5 or 6). AND FRIENDLY.I needed both wheel trued, new break pads, a new shifter cable, a new break cable, handle bar wraps.For $55 everything was covered under the umbrella of tune up plus the usual wiping, tightening, tweaking, and greasing (of course parts were extra, but the prices were fair)I plan to come back again. The bike is riding tight. FYI its a Surly Crosscheck, and I commute 15-20 miles a day.tl;dr - this is a great family business run by good people.

Avoid if you have a higher-end bike. Brought my bike here for a tune and they didnt replace a part in my front hydraulic brake. Cut to a few weeks later and the brake has issues. Bring it to another store and they opened the hub and brake fluid spewed everywhere, the pads were shot, and now my brake doesnt work. All because they forgot a part.
