I love this local bookstore and coffee shop! A great selection of diverse and cultural books for all ages!The owner is extremely kind! I highly recommend stopping buy for all your book needs! The experience as a first time customer here it’s OK. They have good selection of books. There was also one whole shelf dedicated to books about California. We ended up buying a book about hiking trails in LA. The book seemed interesting at first sight. It features hiking trails that involve stairs.

Such a local gem! I wanted to pick up some books for my baby nephew and was so pleasantly surprised by the variety of kids books available. Its a small store so I didnt think there would be tons available but there were so many options and I appreciated that many of the books were unique and from small publishing companies. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the coffee shop located in the store is DELICIOUS. Definitely worth stopping by and supporting.

Great spot for unique books. I really wanted to love the drinks, good flavor but luke warm. If you like hot coffee or drinks ask for it to be HOT....Super slow service not because they were short staff but they were talking and hanging out with each other. Forgot part of my order toast and zucchini bread....

I love it so much. So many interesting, beautiful books. Amazing that they can have such a wide selection and still not seem cluttered or overwhelming. Such a great space. Wish it had been there when we lived in Culver, but makes it a treat to come back and visit.

Honestly the worst drip coffee I have ever had. I returned my first cup and asked for another. Then I tried second cup black with out anything and it’s the weirdest coffee taste I have ever tried. I tried covering up the taste with milk and sugar and it didn’t help. I could taste that weird taste. The place and idea is cool. The staff are not organized but they are nice enough. Just had to let people know not to try their coffee. :(Disappointed

What a great and diverse selection. I shopped for toddler books both bilingual and in English.There were fun travel selections that appealed.The staff was tremendously helpful as well.

Love this place so much! So excited it is open now. Great selection of timely and thoughtful books as well as reasonably priced coffees and other drinks/treats. A vibrant new addition to the Culver City area! Can’t wait to visit again! Definitely planning on getting my book loving friends gifts from this shop for their birthdays.

I really like this place! Really nice vibes, good book selection, friendly staff, and the food and drinks are good too. Sometimes its a little slow but thats not really a big problem.

Parents beware! The bookstore staff recommended Adult mature content books to my 13 year old daughter today. We will not be going there anymore and I will post our experience on Yelp and social media so that all are informed.

McDonald’s has better iced coffee tbh. The toast and jam was soggy, the matcha tastes like dirt milk. They got out order wrong and the people before us and it wasn’t even busy.

A very beautiful and well-stocked new bookstore in Culver City. Their cafe serves a variety of delicious sandwiches and other items. The staff is friendly and informative. Well worth checking out.

Its a very nice quiet place with friendly staff in a calm section of downtown Culver City. My family and I stopped by a couple of weeks ago. I didnt get to walk around the entire store or purchase coffee or a snack since I was with my girls and all they wanted to do was look at books in the kids section. I appreciate the diversity of books in that section. My girls do too. Needless to say, we purchased a bag full of educational books and puzzles. Going to stop by again soon.

I love the concept! I walked out with a few books, but as for the food- I had a chai and a cookie and the chai was water and the cookie was bitter and burnt. Don’t come for the food or the drinks, but do come for the wonderful selection of books they carry! Support local :)

Great selection! Can be a tad hard to find things as the shelves arent labeled well, but that makes it an adventure to located your target book.

I am SO glad this opened - I miss bookstores and strolling in here felt like I was in the 90s or early 2000s (in a good way) before Amazon ate up every bookstore to be found. They have lots of subjects and a coffee bar as well. When I asked for a specific book they found it for me within a minute. Please visit and support them!

Due to Covid Ive not had a chance to go in person, but I love everything this new bookstore stands for and this was much needed in West LA! They have a fanatic website, are very community oriented and I was able to get my book ordered with ease. Please dont shop on Amazon for books - spend a few extra dollars to support local. They do so much more for our community and its well worth it! I cant wait to visit in person, read, have a cup of coffee and join events when we can. Until then, we have zoom and shopping online.

I was told they are hosting a kids event with a speaker who who won’t be wearing a mask indoors? If not true happy to remove. Worrisome if true.

I just came into this shop for the first time yesterday. They have a great selection of books, great vibe and a cute cafe! Even more so I have to praise their staff. A woman walked up to the counter when I was there and began berating the staff because they had pro-LGBTQ kids books. She was saying some of the most bigoted and hateful things I have heard and, as a queer person, I was deeply hurt. The staff was having none of it. They stood up for the LGBTQ community and would not budge on the books. The woman stormed out when the owner and myself both stepped in and this all-star squad of a staff was completely unphased and apologized to me if I was offended by this rude woman. But, it was the opposite; I felt so supported and empowered by their allyship. I can not recommend this place enough. 😊

Beautiful bookstore with a wonderful and varied selection of books; café offering coffee and food, friendly and helpful staff. Browse their website if you dont feel comfortable going into a store yet, I loved the Scandi and Argentina section. I will be coming back, and soon!
