Presently, with only 55 Ranch 99 stores across the U.S. its cool to have so many around this area. Chinese-focused Asian grocery market includes seafood mongers, prepared buffet food to go, and bakery. Initially, the confluence of smells may overwhelm you, but focus on filling the grocery basket with fresh vegetable greens, tofu, noodles, seasoned seaweed packs, ponzu sauce, coconut milk, durian, and youll easily spend over $99.
Asian supermarket best, you can find alot of Asian items. Dont go there in the weekend. To many people in the weekend. Try going on the weekdays.
I love the seafood area. They do a great job of keeping it fresh and clean.
Always hopping here at Ranch 99, as usual I was able to get in and out without a hiccup. It was running efficiently and the mood was positive. A pleasure.
Nice and clean cant wait to visit again.
This 99 Ranch location is similar to other 99 Ranch BUT we love the wonton soups they make in the cooked food section. Cook food sections at different 99 Ranch cam be very different in quality and variety. This place is great. The wontons are better than any other 99 Ranch we have been to. Highly recommended.
Absolutely the rudest employees on earth. I was standing outside the store trying to figure out when they would open. They have a sign that says 8 am. One of their employees comes up behind me and yells NINE! NINE! I’ll never shop there again. There is no reason for there asshat rude employees to yell!
Perfect to get all the ingredients you need to make some delicious Chinese, Japanese or Thai food !
Pretty much all the Chinese food stuff that youll ever need. It is extremely crowded with stuff, every aisle and shelf. Staff is hard to find. Please wear something warm, it is always cold inside including summer. They give coupons over certain amount of spend, you can use it to buy cooked food at their deli.
Good place to find Chinese cooking ingredients & seafood, but definitely not for sushi. Roast duck is a major disappointment, even with deli coupons.
There are a variety of Asian foods, fresh vegetables, meat, and sea food selections. Be careful, however, as the store sometimes mislabel the sales price of certain food items and will charge the full price for a sale item at the register. Also, once you purchase an unopened food package item, the store makes it very hard to return it. Even if you purchased a non-food item (like a cooking wok), its also hard to return it.
Could be cleaner, parking lot isnt very friendly to big vehicles. Bathroom is usually dirty with the door propped open, privacy be darned. The selection of asian products is pretty good and they work fast at checkout, not a bad hot food bar either.
Asian market well stocked with Asian food ingredients, spices and condiments. North Asian, South Asian and South-east Asian varieties all available here.
Always one of my favorite places for food. Their prices are amazing and they give you food coupons to use at their deli/bakery which is amazing after shopping!
This branch have comparatively fair price on groceries among the others in the area
I enjoy the coupon I receive for next shopping..😅😅
Rude staff. Unless you are used to the rotten fish smell, you will hate shipping here
Best Asian food market with reasonable prices
Really great selection of Asian foods and goodies. Fresh seafood and a wonderful meat department.
Prices are getting rediculously high these days, but their Deli department where you can pay with grocery coupons are pretty good, especially the BBQ ducks & soy chickens
If you are in this plaza make sure to protect your valuables stuff. I saw a BMW that has smashed the back passenger window and Bad drivers
Friendly customer service, minimal waiting in line, well-organized inventory and clean hallways, high quality and fresh produce and legumes, fresh meats and cut to order, competitive prices, weekly sales ads. Highly recommend.
Good service, excellent fish and meat section. Customer service is good also.
The cashiers are really mean like the customers own them something, especially a cashier named Xiaowen, she treated customer so poorly that I don’t go to the cupertino location anymore. There are other locations and Lion market, don’t go to the cupertino one!
Had lots of parking and was very well stocked.
In my opinion the golden standard for asian marts. Loved the coupons and the flexibility/service at the seafood/fish section.
VERY COLD FOOD ! DISAPOINTING ! BUT THE FOOD IS GOOD ALTHOUGH SOME OF IT SEEMED TO BE OLD. VERY STIFF AND HARD CHICKEN AND PORK.
Very friendly staff over by the self-serve food area
Great place but o need to know what to do so that i can get a $1/$2 coupons, they never give me but i see others being given on front of me 🤔
Great place for purchasing portable things which use for truckers
Love this place! They always have live crab, and a nice abundance of other live seafood, too. Lots of exotic produce and you can find just about every weird mushroom known to be edible. Though they carry american products, I dont recommend buying those here, its a little pricey- other than that, great place to find asian foods.
Nice place with lots of asian snacks, meat fruit and veggies you wouldnt find elsewhere
Very good selection of Asian food. But not recommend fruits here.
With covid-19 in the wane, theres still ample parking
Stopped by after busy day at surgical clinic to try their fresh cooked food and lady was very kind friendly and helpful . I felt welcome here and got wonderful fresh fruits, veggies other produce, also tasty cooked food for great price . People that work here are wonderful .Love this place 🥰
Its very good
Big selection. Some prices are good, some over priced.
Great selection of Asian groceries and pantry ingredients. That said, it gets pretty crowded and chaotic during the weekends, so go early.
Who doesnt LOVE Ranch 99?!? They have a lot of awesome products. One of my favorite is their pork buns...YUMMY!!
SoCal transplant providing mainstream asian groceries to the Bay Area. Parking can be tight on weekends due to the other shops at Vallco Village. Store is well stocked but fresh foods (e.g., rice noodles) may be gone by the late afternoon. Full meat and seafood counter with a deli.
Huge selection of Asian produce and dry goods, plus an enormous fish counter.
Equal to Burger King.
After 5pm, Unclear entrance poster cause confusion for customers. Please adjust entrance sign after 5pm,Also, no sanitation procedure for used cart, at least put out some disinfectants at entrance, so customers can do it. (If you dont want clean it)The staff are nice and friendly, however, please follow rules regarding cleaning cart.
As always, Ranch 99 has all your Chinese groceries. We went there for char siu and green onion pancakes.
Plenty of oriental foods with reasonable prices.
Not too crowded. Well stocked. Avocados nice price. Plenty of cashiers so no waiting for checkout.
Cheap, but quality can be hit or miss. You get what you pay for.
Great selection and products... staff very friendly and helpful... l will definitely recommend this place to everyone... if youre looking for fresh seafood like Bloody Clams they have a great selection
Wide selection of food products from East Asia. Beverages, canned fruits and vegetables, frozen foods, sauces and seasonings.Fresh vegetables and seafood too.
Clean Asian grocery store. Wish the ones in Tulsa were like this.........
I shop here every week. I hate hate hate their shopping carts! Feel like pushing the cart across the pebbled streets in Europe. Wish they would replace them. But not holding my breath.
Its a better version of Lions. Less busy, less yelling, but the Asian atmosphere. Still got crazy asian people in the parking lot. Also the best rice. Ever.
Good deli. Building is showing its age
I love their fresh sea food and vegetables.
I am regularly visit this place, fresh fruits and vegetables are the best.
Good source for asian groceries
Parking is really difficult at this location. Starbucks is next door. And other eateries in the area. If you’re patient to linger until someone leaves. Which I did, I was able to park. It is a replica of other Ranch 99’s, except the bakery is a little bigger. Don’t get the beef stew soup there. The meat was rubbery and the stew itself was watered down. The line was long just to order. It was a waste of time.Yet, the bakery was worth the wait. I purchase a Peach Mousse cake for Mother’s Day. The decorations and the container was awesome. The cashier even put a a carnation on top of the box. Whatever your reason to come here. Make sure your not in a rush because the lines are long. Be prepared to get bump by other customers because the aisles are not spacious. Take it in stride, life is too short.
Most everything Asian foods we shop here. Great prices but bring your jacket. It is cold here.
Good stock level and organized
The Bay Areas quintessential and leading Chinese supermarket.
Crowded most of the time. Good place to buy fresh fish.
Good store. But expect very long enteance lines during rush hours (weekends especially).
Very congested during the pandemic and not easily understandable
I am a huge fan of their hot food bar cause they have such good selections at affordable prices. I would say I come here about once a week to pick up groceries and hot food especially when I get their coupons. I particularly like their dim sum that I end up bringing to work the next day so I dont have to worry about cooking anything. Easy to carry and delightfully delicious!
Love this place to for both my Asian food needs and fresh seafood and veggies. Also, their hot food counter is fabulous. Im disappointed that they no longer seem to carry laksa, but otherwise I can usually find everything I need.
99 branches are always clean. Found what I need most of the times here. My favorite here is fresh fish paste (good for hot pot).
Cupertino 99 ranch has the absolute best bakery goods. And their cookies are so adorable, they almost be too good to eat. Panda cookies are so cute and just as yummy. They also have delicious coffee cookies, pineapple cakes and an assortment of asian breads. 99 ranch is a one-stop place for all your asian grocery needs and cravings!
An excellent place to go for any specialty Asian products. Keep in mind that it gets pretty crowded during usual peak hours. It doesnt detract from the shopping experience, but something to consider. I like their bakery department and looking at the cakes. 99 Ranch bakery is where I go whenever I need cakes for any type of occasion.
Typical Asian Market: narrow aisles, large meat and produce section. Variety of mainly Chinese products but also some from other SE Asian countries. You get free $ coupons to use in their deli based on amount of money you spent.
New rule: Ask for a bag, pack food yourself, cashers wait for you to finish while chatting with each other.
Popular Asia grocery store, have most things I need.
I shop here often and this branch I find is friendlier than other markets. There is always someone at the customer service desk who is willing to help out with anything. More often than not, I always need help trying to find a food that I havent eaten since childhood and they can always help me find it! And they help me figure how to cook it too.
I love this place for groceries Clean and traditional vietnamese food
Good place Chinese supermarket
Typical Chinese market. Try to go during off-peak hours as nobody keeps social distance here
Of course, for the pisces. Other than that I like their different kind of noodles flavours.
Love their selection of different regional items. The store is very clean, well-stocked and organized. I just wish the aisles were a tiny bit wider, but still definitely worth it.
Wanted Shrimp Won ton soup or any soup they didnt have any
They have all of the savory things! Really nice produce section too.
Bought a box of Hawaii papaya and 4 out of 6 of them are decayed at the bottom. Their up side (which you can see without unpack the box) looks so well, I suspect them did it intentionally... so bad...
Nice bright clean store but price overall higher than other asian supermarket
We ordered cook food and whole duck and it as terrible food was cold old and tasted like 2 days old food. We didnt even eat it just threw it away because we couldnt find the receipt I was i nevered came in to this disaster.
Awesome in store selection and amazing customer service. They also have hot food and a bakery and its amazing.
Big selection of products needed to cook authentic Chinese food. American stores normally don’t have animals organs like hearts and liver. Here you have them in abundance (though was out of chicken hearts today).Big selection of Chinese snacks and sweets. Dried fish in sauce is my current favorite.
Go late and you can get and out in 10 minutes, Most of the time parking is a pain
Place is decent sized market. Parking is typically a nightmare how the parking lot is designed along with these wonderfully great drivers. Inside, decent selection with fair pricing, good luck navigating thru the skinny isles and dealing with the impossible oh so courteous customers. If you dont need to get that specific azn item, pay the slight markup and shop elsewhere.
Good selection of Asian food/products! The fish sold here are fresh and they offer cleaning and frying service for free. The bakery section also offers many tasty buns, pastries and cake. Weekends can be a bit crowded but the store has a large parking area.
Good fruits and veggies collection!
