All-around fantastic experience! The young gentleman and young lady knew how to hustle to take care of as many customers as possible while still maintaining the quality of each order. I’m a big matcha fan so had to go with the matcha base. She recommended to me that I should do half matcha, have custard otherwise it might be somewhat better. The end result was incredible and easily the creamiest ice cream of my life! The toppings were delicious and a part of that is the care they took to fully scrape the preparation plate between customers so flavors would not mix together. Please do come support this awesome business!
Great ice cream, I felt kind of rushed/pressed at the end for adding toppings. Otherwise, great menu, variety with vegan options as well.
Delicious ice cream with beautiful serving. They use regular ice cream, add strawberry, Oreos or what youve chose, mix it together on the ice cold pan. After they spread it in a rectangle and make about 5 rolls. We paid almost $27 for three servings. It was the best ice cream, and even better than Haagen Dagzs. Also, they have a few seats inside and a few outside.
Unhygienic place. I saw the server with her hands on the floor with a leak covering it with a cloth and use those same hands to serve customers and again use the same hands with the same gloves to wipe down counters with another wet cloth. When I asked her if she could change her gloves, she argued with me that she only used it to hold the cloth. Is it that hard to change gloves? Especially when asked by a customer? Terrible customer service and hygiene. Never going back there.
MUST HAVE ice creams !!!!Awesome and a different way to have ice creams. You can watch them make the ice creams. They also have non-diary version of ice creams. I am a regular here. (This place also accepts mobile payments - Apple Pay, Google Pay and such). They also offer a wide variety of toppings including fruits like banana and strawberries besides the regulars like M&Ms. The toppings are free as well.It might be crowded during certain times but they make them fast and do not take a lot of time. It takes an average of a minute and a half to make each ice cream.
I realized I wasn’t a big fan of ice crushed ice cream and I think it was because the lady who was doing ours kept breaking the whole process. She would land up with crumbles instead of the nice rolled ice cream others were getting from the other guy. She kept adding more milk and excusing herself as being a newbie. It kinda made us disappointed when we got a crushed version of the rolls. The ice cream was so watered down and tasteless even with so much sugar stuffs added on the top. Not the greatest experience!!!
Omg! Line was so big and they had taken so many order already (poor busy staaf)Despite of that there was no taste compromise.
I NEVER THOUGHT THERE WAS A PLACE LIKE THIS!!!!I LOVE THE FLAVS AND THE TOPPINGS ARE FANTASTICMY ONLY COMPLAINT WHY I DIDNT GET A 5⭐️ ITS BECAUSE THERE WAS A PERSON WORKING THERE AND HE WAS SO RUDE BUT BECAUSE OF THIS GIRL THAT WAS ALWAYS SMILING AND HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSONALITY I GIVE THEM A FOURI WISH ALL THE WORKERS WERE AS FUN AS HERSHE WAS HELPING US AT THE END AND TOLD US A LITTLE MORE ABOUT WHAT TOPPINGS TO GET WITH OUT ICE CREAMVERY NICE 👍
Amazing ice cream!!
Great ice cream a d friendly Team.
If you are depressed, dont eat out of that Dreyers ice cream bucket at home. Go out to Icicles! This is a fun stop and I would bring a visitor craving ice cream here! They call your name and you get to watch these energetic people with big arms make your icicle.OK! So you go in and choose one from their menu (oreo, matcha, strawberry, etc). All of them are $7.Then you wait for one of the 6 people to call your name and you get to watch them make liquid into icicle rolls. Then you get to say all the toppings you want on your icicle. Apparently, its unlimited, but I dont understand how thats possible. Its a colorful happy environment with a colorful icicle in a white cup.You know those people that take pictures of everything before eating, thatll be you.Ok, so why 4 stars? The icicle is really just ice cream or gelato. Youll know what I mean when you start eating it. The taste is nothing unique and $7 for ice cream is pricey. I would come back to share the experience with someone, but I wouldnt say the taste is better than other ice cream.
A good change from the normal ice cream evenings (or mornings!).. They take great care and are very quick. Been there a couple of times. The portion size becomes too huge for one person (best when shared with two or more)! They also have a great set of topping which you can choose from *unlimited*Although slightly pricey, totally worth the visit!PS: let them know if it is your birthday, they make it super special: applicable for all, better for kids! (also, birthday ice creams are free - take your ID)
Order threw doordash and was missing one of my ice creams and didnt even get the right kinds ordered girls just want to have flan and a Oreo one and theyre both regular vanilla with toppings but not sure why my order was messed up and missing item very disappointed
In the age of premium, Insta-worthy desserts, Bay Area natives will pay $7+ for a cup of ice cream. Line was out the door on a Saturday night. They roll your ice cream in front of you, and then you get any toppings you want. Butterface is good if youre a cookie butter fan. One cup was enough for two of us, unless youre a ravenous sugar consumer. Limited seating, so not the best place for a long sit-and-chat session.
Good place. Cool idea. The vibe and atmosphere are very hip and modern. Ice cream was good. Thick and rich. Its a lot of food. And 8.99 each with unlimited toppings.
Cool place with a modern vibe. Original idea, however it is a bit on the pricey side. The cool fact is that you can view the aesthetic ice cream rolling process.
Yummy 😋
Something captivating about icicles being made. Ice cream tasted very fresh since it was made right in front of you. Highly recommend.
Icicles serves the social media famous Rolled Ice Cream, and lives up to its expectations :) What makes this ice cream so delicious is that it is hand-churned on the spot. The result is large creamy serving of ice cream.I have tried the Gotcha Matcha, Mai Thai, and Strawberry Fantasy. Each one was oh so delicious. After your ice cream is rolled, you can choose from a large selection of toppings. Personally, the roasted marshmallow is the one topping you absolutely cannot miss out on!The only downside of Icicles is that one serving is on the pricier side. But in all fairness, a lot of effort goes into making this ice cream, in comparison to traditional scoop-and-go ice cream. For a special ice cream treat, Icicles is a good place to try!
Ridiculously over price. And the taste of it is just so so.. Go to main street, Cupertino. That one is good ice-cream and reasonable price. $9 an ice cream and it not even good.
The wait is long but it’s worth it because this is the best ice cream ever. you choose your own ingredients and they hand make your ice cream right in front of you. it’s fun to sit and watch them roll it up and then you get to choose your own toppings. great place
Cool experience. Ice cream is good and the toppings are a nice addition. You get one size and it seems a bit pricey ($8.99). I guess you pay for the experience.
First time coming here, honestly its ok but thats about it and on the pricey side
My wife loves this place. We normally skip dessert after a meal and come here. The ice cream is lush and the topping choice is great. This place is always busy but the line moves quite fast.
Delicious but not the best ice cream in the world. Its worthy to try it, its fun and delicious.
My favorite rolled ice cream place. Then again the only one I have been to. I like the selection of toppings and flavors.
When I went, the line was extremely long, but it was worth the wait. Ice cream flavors and topping selection was pretty good. Its a little overpriced for what youre getting but if youre looking to spice up ice cream, this is the place to go.
Its cool seeing them make the ice cream, the place is clean, the people are nice, and you get all the toppings you want. However the line can get very long and if you get too many toppings then the icecream will be super sweet. They do have non-dairy options that might be less sweet.
Great place for icicles. Kids love this place. The combinations offered are very good. My favorite is berry squad- berries and milk only. The ones with cookies are sweeter. The only problem is the long waiting. But very much worth it.
The way that the ice cream is made here is so unique and fun to watch the staff make! Not only this but the ice cream tastes great and is so delicious! The cost for each cup of ice cream you get is $7.50 but its worth the price as you get a wonderful dessert as well as being able to watch your dessert being made! You will have to give it a try!!
This is a place worth visiting, but make sure you plan ten to twenty minutes ahead to accommodate for the big crowds here. The ice cream, on the other hand, is top notch! Dont feel ashamed to add all the toppings they provide… theres no limits, so fill it to your hearts content (and cups capacity). :)
Its fun to watch them make the rollups. But once the novelty wears off, its just regular ice cream. Lots of different and unique flavor combinations. I didnt find the taste to be exceptional to go there often enough. The wait can get long at times as well.
One very rude employee. Skinny, dark, Asian with glasses curly hair. I didn’t hear him saying my order and he yelled on the top of his lungs in front of everyone. After I got my ice cream he began smashing the doors and making a very loud scene making customers extremely uncomfortable. Definitely should be fired for disgusting service... just rude... if you see this don’t go to icicles from now on
Yummy.
Super ice cream. Hand-rolled and fun to watch. Appears to be an after-school event for older kids, who slowed the service. (Just dont go right after school.)
Ice cream is amazing! So good because it is made right in front of you with fresh ingredients. You can watch as they crush fresh fruit, nuts, graham crackers and others to make your dessert. I would rate higher if it wasnt so expensive. $7.50 for around 14 oz of ice cream.
Awesome experience.Mandatory to watch how they prepare ice cream.
The best ice cream ever! Tasted like homemade ice cream. Fun to watch them make and eat.
Very cool way to prepare ice cream. Ordered avocado ice cream and it literally was fresh avocado made into ice cream in front of us. The taste was fantastic and the staff are friendly.
Very cool way of making ice cream right in front of you. I could see how this place can get crowded since it takes a little bit of time to get the ice cream. The only reason why I would give it a 4 star is due to those with long hair not respecting the distance between themselves and the cold plate. When someone with long hair was making the rolls, I kept getting a little cautious since I dont want hair getting into my ice cream. Thats the only thing I didnt like.
Tastes so good! 😍
Love the idea. Just when you think ice cream or frozen yogurt is boring, here is Icicles! You order it and they make it right in front of you. Best part is ALL toppings, yes all of them! And FYI, they accept Android pay, Apple pay too.
Its good ice cream as it always has been but the prices keep going up. Probably best to share a single order with someone else because of both price and size.
Tons of people and huge line but service moves very quickly. Its a little expensive in my opinion ($7.50) however the quality is AMAZING and the staff is great. Would definitely recommend!
Love the efficient, friendly service and variety of flavors! Be sure to try the non-dairy selection -- the sorbets are refreshing!
I like their ice cream but not sure how long they could last with their inefficiency and long wait line
This is the first time I had ice cream rolls and it didnt disappoint me. This is one of the best ice creams I have ever had. You get to choose what goes into the ice cream. You can also customize according to your liking if you dont like the options on the menu. Once you placed your order, you will be called upon by your name when they are about to make it so that you get to see when its being made. Thats the novelty here, you get to shoot it or just admire the whole process. Once the rolls are made, you get to choose the toppings. You can load it with how many toppings the bowl can take as there is no limitation. Ice creams here are priced fixed at $8.99 per bowl. No choices on sizes or the amount of ice cream which goes into it.We ordered Strawberry Fantasy and YAY for Coco which were too good. Lychee and popping boba are the best in toppings. Definitely recommend. Have to try other flavors soon.
Yummy rolled ice cream. Interesting flavors and plenty of free toppings. Friendly service.
Our favorite ice cream store in the Bay area!!! Love the customizations one can do
One of the best places to have ice cream. All Fudge is really good with cream, chocochips, almond and chocolate drizzle!
Neat ice cream experience. Its difficult to hear in here because there are so many people jam-packed waiting for their ice cream. Be sure to speak loud enough for them to hear your order correctly
A little overpriced than what i have had at other places.
Tried different flavor this timeStill was awesome
Similar to the experience in Castro Street, Mountain View. Except that its closer to my place. Lots of people coming even during the night. High energy all around.
Its fun to watch ice-cream made on front of you and you can select the flavor.
Big fan of bravocado! Totally different experience with roll ice creams. Super friendly service. Weekends get really crowded so I prefer going here on weekdays.
Great and quick service. The icecream was delicious!!
Innovative method of preparing and rolling ice cream its fun and creative to watch. The quality of the ice cream itself is ok. So certainly worth one visit for the novelty.
Yay for Coco was the best of all that we tasted so far. All the flavors are pretty good. They add unlimited yummy toppings that gives an extraordinary experience. Expect queues there and 10-15mins of wait time. This is absolutely must-try item.
Awesome place. Great taste. Friendly staff. many choices
Its okay ice cream at a high price. Youre really paying for the novelty and the short show of making the ice cream rolls. Two desserts and we were out $17 bucks. Considering the number of people working there its no wonder the prices are high. I probably wont be going back unless the kids really beg for it. The flavors are not your normal flavors but theres something for everyone. Avocado and ube root anyone?
Unique place some flavors good same not
Very tasty Icecream, process of making just amazing, guys are super friendly, super fast. 5 star, you are the best!!!
This seems mostly popular with the female market, maybe its the theatricality of the preparation.Came here after dinner, there was a fair amount of people here on a weekday night. Seating is limited since half the seats are outside.Ordered the Gotcha Matcha, watched them prep it, then added some toppings, and its not bad. Its nice and chilly, no issues with the texture, and the matcha flavor is there. What bugs me, and its not specific to this place, is that anything in the Bay with matcha never really tastes like matcha. It always tastes akin to sugar with matcha powder instead of matcha with sprinkles of sugar.I cant say that Id discourage anyone from coming here, but I am left still searching for a matcha ice cream that actually captures the rich bitter flavor.
Awesome fresh rolled ice cream. They have bunch of toppings from fresh fruit to cookies.
This spot is always packed. Its worth the wait
The Thai ice cream is chewy and kinda filling, but the best part for me is watching the rollistas making it on those “anti-griddles”. It’s performance art, with a yummy conclusion!
Love it.. different than all other Ive cream parlors
Flavor of Icicles were delicious.
Beautiful presentation, and delicious flavors with lots of toppings!
