I have spent many an early morning in this place, but it has dropped a couple notches recently. First, I liked the self-serve coffee. I dont want to flag my service person down every five minutes for a refill while I attempt to become human again. Second, their new late-night mini-menu is ridiculous. It would be better if they said The kitchen is closed, which is almost true. Probably they still do a good morning business, and theyre coming on that too sustain them. But, as a late night spot, youd be better off at Dennys
First let me start by saying that the late night food options in Dallas is abysmal but Buzz Brews takes the cake. Overall a pretty pathetic excuse for a late night restaurant. It was shortly after midnight when my husband and I tried to order online after browsing their 24 hour menu. The online ordering system has incorrect hours stating that they are closed at 9pm. My husband called to inquire and see if that was the case, at which point someone answered the phone and said that they were open. This gave me hope. Needless to say, FIX YOUR HOURS ONLINE Buzz Brews...Secondly, we tried to place our order over the phone specifically for the Trucking which is under their Grilled Stuffon their 24 hour menu... The gentleman (who didnt speak the best english and was difficult to understand to say the least) then proceeded to tell us that they dont serve meat after midnight. LOL. Can you even make this stuff up? We informed him that it was listed on their 24 hour menu and his response was Thats correct... No other explanation.Ultimately, we did not place an order with Buzz Brews. And there are a number of factors as to why: poor customer service, poorly listed information online including hours and false advertisement of what they actually offer on their menu. I have ordered breakfast from this place before during day light hours and in all honesty the quality of the food and the flavor was not that great. The reason this place gets high marks in my opinion is because the people of Dallas, transplants or otherwise have low standards for what good food is.All in all, steer clear. Its not worth the headache. There is a reason why establishments like Raising Canes, Jack in the Box, Whataburger and McDonalds have lines wrapped down city blocks late at night...
Banana nut pancakes from @buzzbrews . I dont even like bananas like that but this was great! Such a filling breakfast we stopped at the Fitzhugh location for some great breakfast. Buzzbrews never disappoints. The spot used to be 24/7 great for a reading/study session along with their unlimited coffee bar.**What we had:Banana nut pancakes.Egg SandwichHangover special soup.
The food was phenomenal. Had to be one or the best omelets, and best chorizo, Ive ever had. The staff were friendly, but Id advise visiting sometime other than the middle of the night. We went on a Wednesday morning around 1AM and it took almost an hour and a half to get our food. There were only two people manning the place, however, so I can understand why. Id like to try this again sometime just to see if its different at different times. They did offer us free drinks (including coffee that is apparently a big thing there) as recompense for the wait time, so again, very friendly staff.
Understaffed and dirty dishes stacked high on the bar. We waited 1.5 hours to pickup our UberEATS order. 10/10 would not recommend.
My husband and I came for dinner and our server messed up my order, disappeared at times, and was rushing us so she could leave. The manager, Brian, bartender Rachel and even the cook, Arnofo, were amazing! The cook, brought out our appetizer when our server disappeared, Rachel was amazing with making sure we had everything we needed, and Brian did everything he could to rectify the situation. Because of this we will definitely be coming back! Thank you Brian, Rachel, and Arnofo! Truly genuine people!
Its hard to find a place after 9 to eat anymore! This place is open 24 hours so I decided to give it a try. They had a vegan pancake option but were out of it so I couldnt try it, which left me stuck with a salad. But at least the ingredients were fresh. The person who took my order was really busy but still nice. I did have to wait a ridiculously long time to pick up my order though. Also, parking was not the best and we used the neighboring businesses parking lot.
Fast, Friendly service and Absolutely 💯 the Most Perfect eggs over medium ever. Great pancakes and bacon too.
Very delicious. The potatoes could be a little bit more done kind of hard. But all in all good. And the coffee was delicious also
The Experience was ok....just ok...i may have to try another location and a different meal because I wasnt impressed. My daughter didnt like her grilled cheese sandwich and my nachos didnt have enough cheese(it was sparsely scattered) and i added fajita beef to the chicken that was supposed to already be on there but no chicken...no mimosas..my relative said the pancakes were good though.
ABSOLUTELY horrible service for starters, and this is specifically for the buzz brews on N central expressway, as I’ve had excellent food and service at the deep Ellum location . As for this one, we order our food and off the jump including through the whole night our waitress (the red headed girl with glasses) was rude. After waiting 35 minutes even though our food was ready for 10 sitting on the heating tray, they bring us our food and the order is wrong! So we decide to express our concerns, the manager told us not to worry about our ticket which was nice until our waitress decided she wanted to catch an attitude and yell at us! As if we were somehow in the wrong for any part of this situation! TERRIBLE service, food took over 30 minutes to receive, food came out cold, nevertheless I will NOT be back to this buzz brews ever again and will make sure nobody I know ever is either.
Used to work for these guys for some years at another location. Still come back for more because the food is delicious!Ask for Brandon. He may not smile much, but hes damn good at his job!
I usually love this place... we came in after drinks for early breakfast/late diner and were welcomed by staff that were not very busy. I was showing my wife my favorite spots while we were visiting and this experience fell flat. Hopefully this was just a one time bad experience

Ordered delivery from here for the first time. It was the middle of the night so delivery was slow. But when the food finally arrived, I was very disappointed. My BF ordered the French toast and it looked really good and since he ate almost al of it, I can assume it was. I ordered the beef fajitas, they were barely editable. There was only 5 little pieces of meat and they had started to turn rotten. The meat was tough and had a sour taste. The black beans was the only thing that saved me from going hungry. They were perfect.

Be careful where you park, construction at the nearby hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Food did not taste warm but was flavorful.
The food is good and the price is very reasonable. However, the building is very old and run down. Its like a very old diner. The one in deep ellum or off of Lemon Avenue is bigger and cleaner looking.
They only had one type of flavored coffee, and syrups for any other. The cake was a bit dry.

Modern American diner. Very friendly and down to earth waitress, just very eager for us to settle the bill. Good selection of food. Prices are reasonable and portions are large. Refillable coffee. Good selection of tea - non refillable. Bluto is great, recommend to give it a try. Limited parking out the back. Overall, would be back.
Visited for a midnight snack, the burger was really good I got the Angus, however the fries were low average. The parking place was terrible had to park in front but it lacks of lights so just got my burguer and ran xD
A 24-hour brash-but-cute diner that I could picture being busy even on the off hours. It has a calm and warm atmosphere even on my 3 A.M. visit that helped wind down the night, yet, somehow still excite me for a late meal (for those who are wondering, they even have vegan options). Our server was nice and she was attentive and receptive and our food came out fast and mostly correct! My one qualm was with the man--who I assume was a manager or shift lead/supervisor of some sort--who took our order while our server was serving the other tables. He seemed very dismissive and impatient with our simple orders but still took them down very meticulously and slowly. Id usually attribute it to the hour of the night that we had our visit but when we got there, he had already seemed on edge. Maybe consider giving him a day or two off, since I can only assume hes been pulling grave shifts all week and its starting to wear on him! Ill definitely be back when the sun is out and bring my friends for the range of diet options they have!

The food was amazing, the first vegan pancakes I’ve had at a restaurant and they were amazing!! The only bad thing is the service, it was really slow and they forgot to put in one of our orders so it took way longer. And it’s pretty loud they have live music and music playing through speakers at the same time
Cool little diner with very friendly employees and customers. Sitting at the bar people quickly spoke to me and told me what they like at the place. They have an open coffee bar with a lot of choices. When ordering the waitress even gave me an off the menu blueberry walnut pancakes option and the food was great. Overall the place seemed pretty clean and staff were constantly making sure tables were cleared and ready for the next customer. They dont offer a military discount but that is never expected. Prices are very reasonable and overall great place to go if you want a bite to eat at a diner any hour.
Hangover soup is great whether or not I have a hangover!
We went at night a few days ago and the food was really good. Our waitress was also really nice. The only problem was that it was very cold inside and we were wearing sweaters. I understand they keep it cold because of their grill but it was uncomfortable for us customers. Other than that everything was great.
Poorly maintained, slow service, not clean. Tables are broken, ants at the table, could not get a latte due to broken equipment. Only reason for 2 stars and not 1 is that the food is good, typical of BuzzBrews. There are much better locations.
Small quaint little diner that puts out quality meals. The thick cut bacon is no joke; its very meaty. The portion sizes are generous for the price. You will get full.
Loved our server, she was very attentive to us and our hungover state. The food was a much needed recharge.

French connection with veggie sausage is the bomb. Savory Crepes and a wonderful Green sauce. It sounds French, but think breakfast enchiladas. Chefs kiss, this my fav breakfast plate in Dallas. Also this place is 24/7 and they have WiFi- ideal for studying in a pinch.

Been to this place so many times on the late night tip lol. Theyre like Dallas version of Detroits Coney Island. They serve a large variety from breakfast to chicken, to burritos to everything; & theyre open late after the club... Doesnt get any better right. Id suggest ordering breakfast as Ive had a large variety of their foods but most times the breakfast is where its at, youll rarely be disappointed.

Enjoyed the griddle (french) toast and chorizo for a nice late breakfast. Coffee was great! Distancing and safety/health precautions were respected. Definitely on list of solid BigD comfort dining. Open 24/7 so even better for return visiting.
Good breakfast food! The chorizo omelette (bluto) is excellent and the cruiser smoothie is a meal in and of itself!

The WORST experience I’ve ever had. I came at 11:10 and waited till 11:36 to leave. NO ONE EVEN CAME TO GREET US. Not a water nothing. People were sleep in the restaurant, no one was getting service or food. Just 2 employees standing around in the kitchen. Then as we’re leaving one of them has the NERVE to say “thank you!” I say “thank you for WHAT? Starving? No service?” I’m disgusted and will never come to buzz brews again.
With literally 5 parking spaces and the Best Western next to it looking to tow anyone in their spots it seems impossible to actually eat here without the right timing.
What I wanted on the wasnt available and I got the wrong latte there was a helpful gentleman gave the right latte and didnt even charge me so that guys cool

I only got coffee because just as I was seating myself; I get told that thekitchen wasclosed due to it being cleaned! You know anykind of sign posted would have been very helpful!! So, the $25.00 Uber ride fromDowntown (usually costing $9-$ 10) was nothing but a waste and I had to get yet another Uber!
Pancakes was dark like burnt, not golden. Ask for soft scramble egg but got hard scramble.

Ordered delivery from this place and was extremely disappointed. Order took two hours to get to us and the restaurant was only a couple blocks from our hotel. They were out of several items so they made us get two of their breakfast plates with pancakes. Food got to us cold and a couple of the pancakes were burnt. On top of that, they didn’t send any butter or syrup for the pancakes. Luckily, the delivery service refunded our money.

The place was amazing (even though the door was borked), waiter was awesome, chef is the best theyve ever had! I had the 4oz filet with slightly fried over easy eggs, garlic marbles, and griddle tomatoes.. ALL done to perfection! I also had the double shot vanilla latte with cinnamon... so much better than anything than starschmucks can make. mman, I missed this place but so glad to see it still there in all its glory! oh, im adding a pic of my food.. enjoy? I know I did!
