Very happy with the repairs on my old Silvertone amp. Sounds as good as it did when I first got it. Quality craftsmanship is alive and well here. Great work, quick turnaround for the work required and reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be back.

He repaired a plate amp from a hifi subwoofer and did a great job. He did this job a year or so back, but I was thinking how grateful I am for his work and I thought Id leave a review. Was quick, honest, and fairly priced. Man knows his stuff, Id give him more business if I had more broken stuff! Have taken my Mark Bass amp here a couple of times and have been highly satisfied with the work that Slemmons has done. High attention to detail, quality and finding the best solution to the problem at hand. From my interactions with him I can tell he really loves his craft.

Hey, dont let it get around, but Terence is an absolute genius when it comes to vintage, rare and Way back when . . . music equipment. He used to be a recording engineer, and knows it all about 24 tracks, analog boards, and ancient outboard gear, especially high end stuff. But please . . . dont tell anyone, on accounta I want him to work on my stuff first!

The tech installed an output transformer for me today. Cool dude. Willing to drop what hes doing and get to your equipment (for the rush fee, duh). When I called, confused about the wiring diagram, he tried to answer my questions over the phone, but I felt more comfortable letting him take the reins. Took about half an hour. Dude can play too. And he has tubes. And he fixes PCB heavy stuff; I saw a Roland sampler on deck for repair. Definitely going here for equipment maintenance from now on.

Im a voice actor in New England. In my arsenal of audio gear, I have a Symertrix 528 (not E!) workhorse channel strip that I have been using and loving since I began my career. I had it re-capped in 2011, but it finally needed some real service and, thanks to a recommendation from a musician pal in Dallas, I sent it to Terrence Slemmons. It came back better than when I got it back in 2000. Seriously, Ill trust these guys with all my gear.

Did a fantastic job for me. Need some power supply work done on my Mesa Boogie and he turned it around within 2 days. Couldnt have been a better experience. Apparently knows his stuff and is really friendly and helpful guy. Hopefully wont need his services any time soon but got him on speed dial should I ever need.

Based on several recommendations, I took my Nord Stage 2 there because a power issue. I was expecting it to be a motherboard or power supply issue and I thought it would be a minimum of $300 and really expecting it to be a lot more than that. They called me within their turnaround time and said it was a fuse and that it would be $16. He even bought me a few just to have in case i needed one at a gig. These guys are amazing and I will be using them for any instrument issues I have from now on. It nice to have guys you can trust with your gear.

The best and most honest musical electronics repair man in Dallas. I wish he repaired guitars so he could be a one stop shop but Ill take what I can get. Ive been a Dallas musician for 15+ years and have never dealt with a better, in any way, repair guy.

Tarrance is the only person I trust to work on my gear. It may be a bit pricey but well worth it. Friendly and very, very good at what they do.

FIRST OF ALL SLEMMONS RULES. Ive been working on a DIY synth project and I was having some issues with the musical instrument that I built and needed the expertise of an expert tech. Terrance was incredibly patient, masterfully sharp, and was able to come up with almost instantaneous solutions to correcting my build mistakes. I am super grateful for those quick consultations. Every musician that I know that has brought a guitar, amp, pedal, or keyboard has been super satisfied with the repairs and service they received.

Terrence is very knowledgeable and provides great service at a reasonable price. He quoted two weeks for repair on my Blackstar HT-5 but was done in a week. Ill be going back for any future repairs.

Terence recently bailed me out of a jam when both of my tube amps failed simultaneously (Mesa Tremoverb, Marshall DSL 50).Regarding the two amps:1) He sorted the Mesa out in short order - this was the second time he had worked on that amp. Sorted out a known issue the first time, made routine repairs this time.2) He repaired the issue with the Marshall and then he modified it.I particularly enjoyed working with him through the process of the modification. When I dropped the amp off, he and I discussed my dislikes about the prior sound and some modifications I had been considering (from nationally known mod shops). He took the time to do some research and called me back to propose specific changes that would help me get the sound I was seeking. We spoke several several times during the process to discuss. The end result is that my Marshall sounds fantastic - its warmer, less brittle, and less fuzzy than it was prior to the revoicing. Still sounds very much like a Marshall, but with a more practical, usable live sound vis-a-vis the distortion and fuzz levels and EQ-ing. This was much less of a hassle, BTW, than shipping the amp off to a mod shop elsewhere. I couldnt be more pleased with the result.Ill be back at Slemmons with future repairs/projects.
