Frankly, I was overwhelmed. This was my first visit to the Danbury location.While the layout of the aisles is quite logical, it has no ambiance. The ceiling is corrugated sheet metal. The floor is plain cement.But appearance is not why customers shop at Whole Foods. Its because of everything being so friggin wholesome. Just about all food items come in a vegan variety.The individual customer attention is outstanding. Theyve got freshly made food items that are hard to pass by. The combination of these two items is definitely reason to shop here over and over again!

Whole foods is a great grocery store and restaurant.I literally eat here like a restaurant. Its tasty, high quality, and reasonably priced.

Check your line of credit before entering. A decent supermarket as long as you dont need any help.

Amazon pick-up cubbies is a huge help, especially for small, high value items. Having a convenient place to return Amazon purchases is also a big plus. The groceries are a side benefit.

Useful stop for groceries but the salad bar doesn’t change much unfortunately. There IS a kimchi and pickle bar though!

This store without a doubt is the worst managed store in my view. I am disabled and upon arriving to the store I attempted to park in handicapped spots and was not able to secure a parking space.I went down a few spots and found 3 spots blocked by a young mexican employee who parked carts in front of all 3 available spots. I requested that he please move forward at which time he started being abusive, I went down to another area and parked. I went shopping and as I went inside I looked out the window and noticed him near my vehicle looking around suspiciously, Upon my return I saw that my car was keyed front to back this young Mexican employee denied it and management who saw the damage and heard my story refused to do anything, even apologize. I called the police who took a report, stated to me they couldnt do anything as no one saw it happen.I writing to say stay away from this store as it is the most unprofessional store I have ever come across in the country. Totally the last time I will ever shop at foolsfoods of Danbury!!! BEWARE OF THIS STORE!!!

Great produce and good customer service

Picked up my holiday meal order. They got it wrong. I ordered a roasted whole turkey. They gave me turkey cold cuts. Cold cuts!! I dont think it was just an honest mistake. Someone must have screwed up the order and just hoped I didnt notice. Unbelievably bad!!

Expensive but good variety. Shout out to Belvoir fruit farms organic elderflower and rose lemonade

Curbside pickup system is well organized. Do need location data turned on your device to work despite being in a numbered spot. whole foods staff super friendly and quick with the orders. Think i only waited like 5 minutes or less on a busy Saturday morning.

Sat afternoon, busy, no cut tiramisu a bummer. The place would benefit from having a separate entrance and an exit.And todays update. Cold disgusting coffee and barista female must have noticed that but couldnt care less. People working there need to be excited they work at a whole foods and pay attention to details. Thats not Walmart.

The workers here are not knowledgeable, Garden of Life Organic MyKind had a sale on their multivitamins and Vitamin Spray. I was trying to buy the hair skin and nails vitamins but it was not ringing up, the workers would not honor the sale. When I asked them why they said because its not a multivitamin, I showed them the picture that included the Vitamin B12 and Prenatal vitamins they said because its a specialty vitamins, I said Prenatal vitamins are specialty vitamins. I asked for the manager. They manager named Josh repeated whatever the other workers said he even asked the worker what did you tell her? Im in the medical field so Im knowledgeable about vitamins and supplements. I also mentioned the app did not specify any exclusion. No one could tell me the reason why the vitamin was not on sale besides its not ringing up. The worst Whole Foods Ive been to horrible customer service.

Everything looks really good, we got a discount of course because were Amazon prime members. That said after we eat the food, well let you know how it really was!

Always a good experience, fresh produce. A little pricey.

Ordered from Whole Foods market for delivery and all of our groceries were “delivered” to the wrong address. All amazon customer service tried to offer me was a refund. I had to argue for them to just re-deliver my order to the correct address hours later. For the amount of money it costs to order, I expected better. I will not be ordering/shopping with Whole Foods again. This whole situation was stressful and unnecessary.

I always love while foods and they are always accommodating - I have yet to run into a bad Whole Foods!

Clean place, friendly staff, sometimes its hard to find items in there but the staff is always happy to help. Wish there were more cashiers. Last two times I was there, the express lanes were closed and I only had 3 items to buy had to wait 10 minutes to check out.

Havent really gone to Whole Foods phisycal location in about 2 months, ever since we started getting our groceries delivered. But whole foods is amazing in store or via delivery.

Nice place for good quality food and bakery items. Breads made here are fantastic.

No waiting and I found all items that I needed. Thank you Whole Foods for making me feel confident enter your store. From the two people welcoming, counting and making sure we all had masks on to the people cleaning the carts. I also appreciated the hand wipes you had throughout the store.

I found it really offensive how the manager or some random security guard just ran to exit as I was leaving the store. His radio chattering with the voice of a woman on the other side saying everything was okay. Its a crime to be a Hispanic male and shop at Whole Foods.

Good grocery store although it is a little overpriced. They did have everything I was looking for so obviously that’s a plus. Good parking but the store gets crowded at times so you might have to walk a bit between your car in the parking lot and the store.

Always love Whole Foods. This time disappointed that they did not have some special items for a Keto chocolate cake recipe in siock.

We enjoyed our visit to Whole Foods Market in Danbury, CT. We bought two cakes which were delicious. The employee asked if we wanted a message in the cakes. The messaging made the cakes extra special.

The soap, the tea, the kombucha, everything else eh due to corona regulations not the same anymore.

This Whole Foods does an impeccable job of counting customers and cleaning carts and basket handles, everyone working there is super nice and helpful

As far as broad scale food markets go we rely on Whole Foods and my partner is “French fussy” about our food - except for the fresh fish section which is a challenge wherever one goes to shop.

As a chef in my opinion amogst all mega supermarket whole food stores. The best in the area. Great fresh produce, meats, poultry, fresh seafood, fruits and veggies, the works. With basically a restaurant fresh made sushi bar, fresh bakery and café. Great staff, fast, kind and well trained. Will visit where ever I see one. Top quality 💪🏼 the best you store for a chef.

This particular Whole Foods Market is very clean and before COVID, well stocked. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. That being said, since Bezos bought WFM, it had gone down hill, there are many items that they no longer stock, namely healthy items. But all WFMs bright in a huge candy section. If I wanted candy I wouldnt be shopping at Whole Foods Market. But alas,I dont have other options in the area for healthy food.

Ever since Amazon took over the Whole Foods name things have not been the same. Store shelves are empty and products that have been enjoyed since the store opened are unavailable. Corporations like Amazon are more into profits than pleasing customers even at the high prices they charge for products. Shame on you Amazon!

Nothing special and very over priced

So many healthy Caucasian people everywhere! This store offers great healthy food. I love all the cold and hot food options to dine on when you are there. This includes buffet and food made in front of you including comfort food like specialty burgers and pizza. Prices are a little high but you can shop with confidence in regard to ingredients.

Gr8 place if u want to buy organic. Sply. their fruits are really good compared to other stores..they are really fresh and yummy. Dont miss their chocolate section..there are so many unique chocolates that are not mainstream.. with spl. flavours...bot a black sea mud soap wich was gr8 as a scrubber..plus their section for clothing/sandals is nice though a little expensive..all in all love to be there and choose from lovely food and other stuff.

Too expensive

This is my favorite market. The people who work here are always so pleasant. The managers are excellent the quality of the food is great and the hot food, deli, cheese shop, bakery and coffee bar are all amazing. I can no longer eat package bread. It is so nice to have a butcher who has responsible meat options and the meat is so fresh and tasty. I know its expensive but its worth it to me.

The store was well-maintained as to security efforts, but I was quite disappointed for the first time at Whole Foods.As I do each Passover, I ordered a grass-fed whole brisket (which I was told was smaller than regular ones) that would run about 8lbs. The charge was $143.47 for an 11.04lb brisket at which I was amazed; and, when I I have returned home to open the surely packaged brisket I found out why it was so large and cost so much. The 8lb brisket had turned into an 11lb monstrocity, because it had not be butchered as usual, (taking the major strip of fat off the piece, so it was covered in a bit more than 3lbs of fat, quite above the fat layer left on for cooking. Not being a butcher, it took me 1 hour to carve off the huge slab of fat before it was ready for cooking.I ask the Danbury store manager to correct this error at the rate of $12.99 a pound.

Come here twice a week. Friendly staff, clean, good customer service and very helpful. Great produce! Very good hot food and prepared food. Love finding unique items here that i cant seem to get anywhere else locally.Essential oils from competing brands, local soaps and lotions, a wide variety of healthy, delicious and organic frozen foods, and great fries and onion rings at the burger station.

I love this place .. and I travel up to Connecticut just to buy their delicious cherry granola

Ordered a burger at the bar, asked for two patties, paid for two patties. Got home found out I was given one patty. I’m pretty upset just finished eating the burger and I don’t feel completely satisfied.Update** 9/02/19***Missing double patties from burgers!! AgainChanged star from two to one stars. Just left Whole Foods with my brother both of us ordered burgers with double patties and we paid for that and fries. Almost walked out on the fries which was missing from the bag. Didn’t check for the extra patty for each of our burgers to find out at home that it’s missing. Completely disappointed...not sure why we have to fill out a sheet when it’s not being read. Also to forget on both of our burgers for the double patty. They were busy but this is too frequent they need to change the way they’re working that station. Either add more bodies too help facilitate the process. Or perhaps add an electronic monitor too track each order and what goes into it. Consumers expect better.

I just would like to give acknowledgement to one of the workers here at the Danbury location. Currently live in Naugatuck but had my 36 week prenatal appointment at Danbury Hospital. Called ahead to the DAIRY department and spoke with a young man name Eric. Asked if a certain item was in stock and if he could hold these items until I came into the store. Twenty minutes later after waiting online (while pregnant) during this pandemic, Eric was soo kind enough to hold these items for me when I got in. I was soo appreciative of him! Some may say he was doing his job but I felt he went above and beyond! Thank you again Eric !!

This is a great market for organic, fresh fruits and vegetables, varieties of items amazing options for cheeses.Had a positive experience with customer service, a cashier went beyond his time to assist my dearly 70 year old aunt at the register by providing answers to her questions while doing his job.5 stars for you too Sammy, thank you for that :)

Great store if you need something quick .Or different. Has a wide variety then other grocery stores. You can also stay and have coffee and danish. Just enjoy time for yourself

Very clean beautiful market. I love the different choices of food.Hot and cold bar along with pizza made to order.Soups salads, made fresh daily. Eat in or take home.Excellent service from the staff with excellent food.

Be careful how much you spend, but the selection of goods and the quality is excellent. The prepared salads and foods set out on the tables are good, but not great. Some of the prepared food behind the counter is really excellent. Supplements will always cost you more than buying online, but many brands and supplements are there and ready on the shelf. Brands that I associate with being price leaders, such as the NOW brand, are conspicuously absent.

Whole Foods may be expensive but I love the food there. Its clean eating and everything is always fresh. I have to say though that what brings me back time after time is the staff. What an amazing crew they have. Thanks whole foods

This review is a little late in coming!My husband is a former Team Member the Trolley Square Whole Foods out here in Salt Lake City, and we came back to my home town for our wedding one year ago. I knew I wanted to have the Berry Chantilly cake as our wedding cake, but its a regional recipe only found out in the Rockies. The bakery manager from Whole Foods was so accommodating, she actually contacted the Trolley Square manager, got the recipe and perfected it for a beautiful cake! It was absolutely wonderful, and the price was phenomenal. I highly recommend them for special events, as they are truly willing to go above and beyond.

I hope Bezos Ex gets this place and don’t mess it up. I really like this store and the people that work there. Specially Chuck! Really awesome place.

Nice store, it looked a little empty, but that was pre - Amazon. I hope they now spend the money to stock with some good items. We got a few items all over. We love the deli counter, we got a few items and ate outside. The milk selection was good, they had a few hard to get good brands.

Kind staff and tons of products for all. If you have a food budget, Whole foods is a place you need to stop by several times a week to get the daily sales. This way you will get more bang for your buck.
