Sarah Brinsley followed up with several e-mails regarding my Equinox lease expiration date. I e-mailed her requesting an appointment and was promptly contacted. The first meeting with Sarah was informative and all questions were answered. I test drove a sport model Equinox and liked the drive but not the style. Sarah contacted me shortly thereafter and recommended that I drive the Equinox on the lot that was the color and model I liked. I never felt pressured and appreciated her explanations and patience. She is warm and friendly and both my husband and I are very satisfied with the transaction.
I simply bought a new key. took a week, which is quite a while - and was crazy expensive. but i received it and it works just fine.

They got out truck in diagnosis issue and fixed it for less than I expected. Even pushed me back when I suggest more work than might be needed. Honest and still expensive but when work it done right really not expensive.

Sarah was wonderful. We were going back and forth in terms of the vehicle we wanted. She was very patient with us. She answered every question we had. There was no hard sell of the past. It was a pleasant experience working with her. I wouldnt hesitate to purchase from Sarah again if I was so inclined to buy another Chevy.
The service department does not know what their doing. My uncle had his truck brought in for an engine replacement and they messed up the radiator by not following proper procedures recommended by GM. (In the photos attached). They do not take accountability of when they mess something up. I work for a GM dealership 1000 miles away and have shown multiple gm techs and two of our shop Forman’s the damage and they all agreed it is from not removing the radiator to replace the engine (some of them have damaged the radiator the same way because of trying to squeeze it out to save time). I have contacted the owner and he doesn’t believe his master tech of 16 yrs could ever mess something up since he’s never had a come back (ever). attached is pictures of the damaged radiator, proper procedure, the owner admitting to them not doing it the proper way, and some of the shop photos of when the truck was in the shop. As you will see the front fascia is still attached which according to GM SI they should be removing the entire facia so they do not damage the fan,radiator,etc.The reason for me handling this matter is my uncle is deaf and can’t communicate with them

Got a tire rotation and oil change. I knew my brake pads needed to be changed soon, they suggested I change them and since the tires were already off it would be a fairly easy job with parts in stock. They wanted $540 just to change the front brake pads alone. That is literally robbery. For that price the brake pads should’ve been made out of gold. Obviously did not have that done and instead drove A couple miles down the street to have all four brake pads replaced, two new rotors, and the other two rotors spun for $350.

We had a great experience leasing a new Chevy Volt from H&L. We came in knowing we wanted an electric vehicle, and Bob G. helped us weigh the pros and cons of the Bolt and Volt before selecting our new Volt. They keep me informed on the progress of my repairs and when I pick up my vehicle I know everything was done and done right. Making an appointment is always easy since they are very flexible and always work around my schedule even on short notice. They are definitely the A-Team.

My husband and I were there this morning and we were welcomed by a nice salesman he was very helpful even though he was new . We choose a used pick up truck for my husband. Once we started the process for the financial part then we met the manager of used cars who didn’t introduce him self and went to the lot to check on the issues of the car. He started yelling at the salesman and also to my husband using inappropriate language. Just because we brought to his attention some of the issues of the used pick up truck before we buy it.We have never been mistreated this way in a place like this where you are there expecting to get help to buy a car . We do not recommend this place at all.I would give them zero stars if I could but the salesman was extremely nice and helpful. We didn’t buy anything.

What a huge turn-off today from the GM of H&L Chevy. I have purchased and leased 4 vehicles over the last 5 years from H&L and have had a great experience. Today I dropped my husband off to pick up his truck from service. The General Manager was weed walking pavement in front of my 2020 Non Chevy vehicle. He had zero care that he was spraying pebbles and sand all over my vehicle until I honked my horn. He said sorry and told me to move my car back a bit from where i was parked so he could complete his job. I called the dealer thinking this was a landscaper to complain. All I got was Im sorry and that was the General Manager. Ill be taking my business elsewhere in the future. H&L NEVER AGAIN!

STAY AWAY! There should be a no star rating option. I purchased a used vehicle in cash and was given a 30 day 1500k bumper to bumper warranty after a long debate. When driving home the day of purchase, the A/C did not work, TPMS sensor was on and front rotors were bad. I get it, its a used vehicle but wheres the safety inspection?? Ill admit, they did fix those issues after turning back. However, my front end continues to shake and it was not resolved after bringing it in for service on a different date. Joe (service manager) told me, we should have never fixed what we did before and I dont know how we gave you a 30 day 1500k warranty without my approval. They now refuse to even look at my vehicle to find the problem, which is still under warranty. The GM never responds, he has other staff reply, GM says NO. The GM walks around with his shirt half open which is inappropriate and unprofessional. Dont bother with them, file a complaint with DMV and call a lawyer.

My experience with H&L demonstrated that they are either not honest or wildly unaware of their product. Had a dashboard crack on a Suburban. Was told the crack would costs over $1500 to fix and that it happened because someone punched the dash. To quote in my 20 years, I can say for sure someone punched this dash. The internet told a different story. I was told by the Manager that anyone can post stuff on the internet. So, I took the truck to another dealer. Within minutes the dealer showed me why the crack happened (missing support clip - NO FAULT of my own) and explained it happened because someone must have serviced the dash. To my knowledge no one has ever touched the dash. Long story short, that was enough for me to say never again to H&L. Ill drive the 15-20 minutes to a more honest and knowledgeable dealer.

Only thing going for it is location. Very close to my residence. Otherwise, I think they didnt really do what they should have done, which is be an early warning for issues on my two year old suburban. I had it in the service department for a routine oil change maybe two months prior to this service appointment, and they gave me no indication my brakes were quite low (which they must have been). Then suddenly metal on metal sound, and the pads were done. She rushes it to H&L to find that of course front rotors are shot. On top of that, it seemed very expensive at $1400 for new front rotors, brake pads all around, and brake fluid replacement. I will look somewhere else next time.

This is the new American way to do business (make money by any means necessary). This dealership put me in a certified LEMON! A 2008 Chevrolet Suburban that I owned for two years. With numerous amounts of problems a gas pump that was repaired two times, a check engine light that would not go off until a service representative said he will get me to pass inspection (check engine light came back on while going to get my inspection), the numerous amounts of money I put into the car and after all that when they so called fixed the gas pump problem the engine went. Leaving me with a option to repair the engine at 7,000.00 or be stuck with a 22,000.00 car note (oh thats no option). Now I understand why American car dealerships are falling so far behind foreign competition. When does it all end! A 55 year old business failing due to greed Thanks for all your help an may GOD truly bless America as well H&L Chevrolet.
