Great, honest and very straight forward.! I’ve been to them roughly 5 times now and will continue to go back. They’ve taken great care of my little 18 footer. I know I’m a small ticket compared to some of the other boats they work on but I appreciate them always getting me in and getting me out so I can get out on the water. Big thanks Mike and Andy!!!

I have used sos for the entire time Ive had my boat for service and repairs. Mike has been very helpful throughout the whole process I drive tractor trailer over the road Im gone a lot and to come home and be able to use my boat knowing its been well taken care of for me is priceless. Highly recommend sos for all service needs.

Ive had 2 boats serviced over the last year. Great service and value. Techs seem to know their stuff! And when they made a mis-diagnosis one one event, they were quick to admit it and resolve it at no cost. They always get me good prices on parts (better than other area dealers). George, Mike and Adam do a great job in taking care of me. Ill keep going to them and I recommend them!

They did great!!! After taking my boat to two other people that couldnt fix my motor, I took it to Mike. He was able to get to it within a few day to access the motor and fixed it within a week. As busy as they were, Id say that was pretty quick and now my boats motor work better that ever. He kept me in the loop thoughout the diagnostic of the motor to let me know how things were going. The price was great as well. Not only competitive but lower. I was very please and will continue to bring my boat back for standard maintenance as well.Thanks Mike!!!

These guys saved our vacation. We hit something and snapped off our prop, we were fixing that and I noticed a leak. My raw water pump went bad. They not only got me the part the next morning but checked the other one and showed me it was ready to go. Fixed all my issues as I was continuing down ICW I got a call from the owner checking on me to make sure we were all set!! If in this area call them!!!!

This was BY FAR the best marine repair experience I have had. They are well spoken, fair, and organized! Other marine businesses need to go learn from them.

Beware of this business.Recently I took my boat to SOS Marine for a fuel system cleaning. I dropped off my boat and over the next several weeks had to call over and over again to get the status of the repair. Each time I spoke with owner George he gave respectable service, and answers to any questions. I eventually got the boat back, was assured the boat had successfully passed three water tests, the problem fixed, and I paid the bill. I took the boat for a test run within the next couple days and immediately had the same issue. There was still something in the fuel system preventing it from running properly.I called SOS Marine and they said to bring the boat back and they would resolve the issue. This was what I expected as a customer. When I dropped the boat off, I asked to see the work order from the original repair. I discovered that the whole system had not been given maintenance as I requested. I paid for a fuel system cleaning, but my opinion is that the mechanics cut corners and did a second rate job while charging for a first class job. This time I again explained exactly what needed to be done and the quality I expected. I waited approximately a week, and then I proceeded to call SOS for an update on my boat (now in the shop for the second time). I spoke with one of the mechanics and was informed George (one of the owners) would be doing some of the work himself since we were having issues getting the job completed. I spoke with George after the repair was complete and they completed a test run. I felt very good after our conversation that the job had been completed properly. I picked the boat up 2-3 days later, brought the boat home just in time for the holiday weekend. We planned a family outing on Lake Destin to run the engine in fresh water and enjoy Independence Day with my family. The minute I turned the key I knew something was wrong. The engine stuttered worse than it had ever done. It eventually turned over and ran fairly decent for a quick test lap around a small area - when the engine died out and wouldnt restart. I called SOS the first business day after the holiday. This time I spoke to a woman who identified herself as one of the owners, but I did not get her name. She insisted that they did a fuel system cleaning and that she personally test drove my boat. She also swore the boat was in perfect running condition. She said if I wanted to drop the boat back off on Friday that I could, implying that I was back in line with others and they would be handling this as a separate issue than before. I told her “after the mishaps weve had, I dont feel comfortable having you work on my boat again. I feel like I paid a lot of money and my boat now doesn’t even run (when I brought it to them it ran).” I asked if there was anything they could do to help me out with the bill, or if I could get some of my money refunded since the boat was never fixed. My boat is worse than when I brought it to the repair shop.I also let this company know that I was born and raised in this town; Im a business owner and I am surrounded by business owners and boat owners. I informed them that I would give their company a bad review over this situation. The female owner then told me thats not going to happen and if you bad mouth us I will have you charged with slander. As a former customer, I have a right to review any person I do business with. I would not recommend this company. One owner was great to deal with and seemed customer service oriented; the other owner was harsh, abrasive and supported poor work. For these reasons, I rate SOS Marine one (1) star.

SOS marine has been servicing all of my needs for many years now. They have very fair pricing and great service.

My brother inlaw had his boat their for a month, for a simple fuel issue the boat was running when we dropped it off but not like it should.After trying to call and deal with the unprofessional, poor attitude female owner they finally called and said it was fixed.We picked it up and put it in Lake Destin for the 4th and it ran for 15 min then left us stranded in the middle of the lake for a hour before help arrived, so Daniel called today to hear from the female owner that its our problem and not theres and that when she test drove it personally it was perfect.Moral of the story these people are not a real business and are a poor excuse for a boat repair shop, when you own a business which, as I do, it is imperative that your customers are handled politely and secure in there purchase, this place fails on all levels I would strongly encourage no one do business with these people!!!!!

Poor with very little effort had boat for over 9 months never fix problem problem when catastrophic told me there was nothing they could do!! sold me the wrong battery
