Larry at JCPenney optical at Daytona Beach is fantastic! He was very attentive to every detail, my glasses are perfect and the price was right. He even went above and beyond to help me with a difficult insurance company. Well done!

I came to Nationwide Visual with a depressed attitude because of some bad news from my doctor. I was not expecting to be entertained, professionally treated and delightfully pleased with my encounter but that is exactly what happened. You can go almost anywhere for glasses these days but many, maybe most, don’t deliver the customer service and the “personal touch” added by Jean Creak. This was a great experience and lifted my spirits considerably. What’s as important is my follow up visit to get the glasses was just as nice and my most recent visit for an adjustment (Jean suggested I do that as often as I need to but at least every couple months). Each and every time I am treated like a valued customer, although “guest” feels like a better descriptive word. Kudos to Nationwide Vision for having the good sense to hire Jean. I have purchased eyeglasses here for the last 4 years. Jean and Larry both were very helpful in selecting my frames. The eyeglasses I got are great and fit like they should. I am very pleased with my eyeglasses and the service I received.

Purchase date 11/23/19 and still waiting????? Originally 5 to 7 business days was the estimated date of arrival. The story we have been given by Larry is that Joyce accidentally noted polarized on the order. I am aware mistakes happen and this was not a problem. We called back last Saturday 12/07/19 and Larry explained the mistake and indicated he was placing a rush order on the glasses. He stated they would be in by Monday or Tuesday. Today is Wednesday and when my mom called Larry said UPS came in but did not bring in any packages. I would NOT recommend JC PENNY optical to anyone and I will be sharing my story with friends and family to discourage business to an unprofessional organization. NO sincere apology and no discount. $191.20 was the purchase price on a low end brand (covergirl) with insurance.

I was extremely impressed on the attentiveness and help I received from the sales associate. She was very patient and even helped me get the best discount! I will definitely return.

Only taking Saturday appts? Thats crazy. Finally get a weekday appt- then you call and say its a new Dr and she cant take our insurance until she gets more experience? never heard of this.. Taking our business elsewhere . thank you
