This store location had exactly what I needed. Also, the store has a lot of tools that I wish to have that other Ace hardware locations do not have. I am very happy with the selection, and the service of employees there. They were indeed very helpful, and knew exactly what I needed before I even got the description of my part completely out of my mouth. These guys are top notch and know what theyre doing.

I was trying to find a craftsman part for a shop vac. Marnards only carry attachments so i was told to go to lowes if they dont have it nobody will NOT they fue if any to do with shop vacs.so i went to ACE lady spent an half hour trying to find the part on line to no avail but she did not have to do that for me so do thanks to this lady ace has a new customer i will be back😀👍👍👍

Myself and a coworker ran into Ace in Decatur Illinois on 08/12/2020. We were short on time, but needed two things before break was over. I did not even ask for help, but employee Brycton (not sure on proper spelling) asked if he could help us. I advised we needed grommets, and he quickly showed us the area and helped us get the right one. Then, I told him I needed a c clip, which is not even the proper name, but when I described it, he quickly showed us that area as well. He was extremely helpful and friendly, even with us coming in so close to closing time. That was my first time there, ever, and I will be back because of him.

Amazing... The availability of faucets and parts are great. I was replacing an very old water valve that was difficult to find. Ace had it on hand along with great service. You just dont find that in other hardware stores.

People there are not very knowledgeable. And are not helpful at all.my wife took her 45 minutes to get a halogen bulb because no one to help.finally got some guy sitting in the back so he got her the wrong bulb.when she had the old bulb package with her.Boy I want to go back there again.

My 95 yr old neighbor sprung a leak in the water line to her refrigerator. Water all over the floor. I cut the bad spot out in the line and wanted to splice it back together. I didn’t even mess with the big box stores. I know where to go for service. It’s fixed now.

Had three people come up to me inside of 90 seconds to “see if I needed help.” If I didn’t know what color of paint I wanted before I walked in, I’m not going to figure it out any faster with you people crawling up my ass every 20 seconds. Any other time I’ve come in you can’t find someone to help to save your soul. Find a balance and quit profiling people.

I love Ace Hardware, it still has a small town feel to it. They are not like the big box stores, they have an excellent selection and always someone to help you!

Friendly, helpful staff.My favorite place to get various bolts, and screws for DIY projects. Various switches, or replacement plugs (ie. for drills, or other tools)that cant be found easily elsewhere.
