Good ice cream. I and my family enjoyed it very much.

I ordered a banana split expecting chocolate vanilla strawberry like traditional. Ive ordered banana split from here before and have always received hand scooped ice cream. This time I received soft serve. I was told after that Id have to specify and when asked if I can get what I expected they refused to replace the item and said Id have to pay again. Ps Ive also private messaged management and Im waiting on a response. If there is more than one way of making an item the staff should be asking the customers what they expect. Im all for supporting locally owned businesses but that also requires them treating there customers properly.

Sat in line for ever until we realized you can actually walk in to order. So much faster! I was previously told it was only drive-thru. We got hard white pistachio, coffee, strawberry, and sugar free chocolate. The tiny kiddie cups with two scoops each, which for me was plenty. I tried all but the sugar free... liked them all.

Just waited a half an hour in line for 2 hot fudge sundaes, like I get every week. I was told it would be 19.17. I sat and discussed with my partner why it would cost 19.17 and wondered why it was taking so long. Whenever the new girl (who wouldn’t admit she was new) came back to the window I was given two large milkshakes. When I told her I had ordered sundaes, she replied “you said milkshakes”. It’s probably because she had air pods in and couldn’t hear a thing I was saying. The $20 worth of milkshakes btw tastes like toffee. If you own this place and are reading this, you lost two customers. I will be back tomorrow with two large melted milkshakes and my receipt so you can credit my account back.

Took way to long in line for only 2cars in front who looked like they got some sundaes, was taking so long the guy in front was even getting out and asking questions. Then when we get up front they get me two 16ozs which i think is two pints after some google back up research. When i asked and got charged for A pint and a QUART!Go check out Happy Howies for good ice cream and service!

Ice cream is excellent. If you are planning to get ice cream from here plan on a little bit of a wait there’s always a line wrapped around the store. While being delicious the Hardscoop is a Little over priced especially for their large hand scooped milkshakes being over $10

We drove about an hour from home just to try this place that we heard of thru social media. Not knowing what to expect I have to say that it was worth the trip. The servings are huge and more importantly the ice cream is very good. Its a little out of the way and the building is a little decieving at first. Went in so we could look at at offerings and they have some really good items at a reasonable cost. Worth the trip, but much better if you have someone with you to share. Definitely will go back.

We have been come here.for many years and this place never disappoints. The long waits are so worth it! Wish they had more.sugar free options available, but other than that everything is delicious!

We waited in line from 8:50 with only four cars ahead of us, we got up at 9:40 and it took them 15 minutes to make 3 mix ins and we watched them just sit there on top of the Ice cream machine for 10 minutes while they walked around. The ice cream is great but it’s really annoying to have to always wait for so long even if our orders are simple.

Horrible customer service!!! My husband and I got in the drive thru at 9:15pm. We waited over 45 minutes just for them to place the “CLOSED” sign in the window & shut the lights off. They literally took the car in-front of us right before. We have been waiting just like everyone else. There were 4 cars behind us. You all need to work on your drive thru times & customer service!!!!

It at much to look at but this is the best ice cream around. We drove 2 hours juat for the ice cream. And the servings are crazy big. My wife and I shared the banana split and couldnt even finish it.

Arrived at the drive thru at 9:15, had about 6 cars ahead of us at 9:55 the car in front of us pulled up to the window and waited looking in got out the car and looked in. I can only assume the workers were looking at her as they cleaned up and at 9:59 the turned the lights off. I have gone to this place since I was a kid when it was Rodeo Whip, the ice cream is great but that is 100% rude and unacceptable. I guess forget the fact that people have been waiting in line for over 45+ mins. How about you close your drive thru at 9 so that you dont have a line going down Elkcam. If you know it takes 10-20 minutes for you to complete an order plan accordingly. But shutting everything down right in front of a customer will definitely cost you. I dont plan on returning here again. I see you keep stating that an employee was attacked then get security or a bar that goes down when you are about to close. You definitely need better lighting but thats not a concern to you clearly. I see you stated that many stores adjusted their hours due to the pandemic, youre only open 8 hours not from 7am-10pm like publix.

WORST customer service I’ve experienced. Waited in line for over 30 min, just to get the the window and the rude employees to put a “closed” sign up and ignore us instead of letting us know that they refused to serve us after waiting in line for more then 30 min. Could have went to a different ice cream place and served 10x before they served 3 cars ahead of us. Manager needs to take lessons from Publix or Chic fil a on customer service and training their employees. Will not recommend this place to anyone I know.

Prices aren’t the same as in the picture and tastes isn’t all that great. Next time I plan on spending $10 for a “Pint” of ice cream.. I’ll swing around the corner and get a Gallon of Blue Bell for the same price at Publix!

This place has terrible customer service and great ice cream. It seems like a bunch of kids are running the place. Expect to wait in line for a long time and then have them put the closed sign up and walk away. It takes forever to get your order if you do make it thru the line, but you get to watch employees sitting on top of the cooler, leaning over the counter or just gathering around gossiping instead of getting orders out. The owner should pay attention to whose ruining their business.

The hour wait was definitely worth it!!! Rum raisin and coconut were both on point!

I’m going to start off and say that we LOVE this ice cream. However, I had a horrible experience last night! I was in line at 9:30pm and after being stuck in line for 45 minutes it was finally my turn at the window. When I pulled up the lights were off and the closed sign in the window! I was so mad.. my 3 year old daughter started crying cause she was promised ice cream and we had waited so long only to not be given as much as an explanation or anything! We were in line BEFORE 10pm and this is terrible customer service. There was someone sweeping or something who saw the line of cars waiting and knew we were there before closing. They could have at least served the cars who were there waiting. It isn’t our faults it takes so long for you guys to serve ice cream. It was absolutely rude.Before you reply like you did to the other person who complained, I did see your tiny yard sign. You should rewrite it and say it doesn’t matter if you’ve been waiting for almost an hour, we won’t serve you .. so people know that you’re going to rudely lock up without serving them.

As much as I love the ice cream here, waiting in line for over an hour just to be closed on as I’m rolling up to the window is crazy. At the very very least, there should be a sign right at the entrance explaining the 10pm policy so as not to leave so many people in line waiting for unbelievable amounts of time just to receive nothing. Ice Cream should not take 15+ minutes to serve for every single car. We might try going again but it’s certainly not going to be anytime soon.

The worst place when it come to customer service and good management. I’ve lived in Deltona for over 20 years and have visited this place many times but I’ve had enough! Love the ice cream but the waiting is ridiculous and the employees are immature kids with no customer service experience. All they do is talk amongst each other in front of the customer and start working on the order when they please. Seen with my own eyes. Even worst, serving ice cream while talking on top of the ice cream with no mask on in the middle of a Pandemic. This place needs better management, better employees with customer service experience. Sorry but won’t be visiting again.

Homemade ice cream the way it should be. Be patient because the drive-thru is always packed. My favorite thing is mixing coconut and pineapple scoops so I can have Pina Colada ice cream. Certifiable and guaranteed good stuff.

I’ve waited to try this place out for a while! When I finally got around to it and made it to the infamous car line I thought this can not be worth it... BUT when I finally tasted that ice cream! EVERYTHING was worth it!! The ice cream was absolutely creamy and delicious, the flavor was absolutely rich and pure and for the price and amount of ice cream you get it’s definitely a place I will be visiting often!Go go go 🤤🤤-I got the rocky road flavor ❤️❤️

We were on line at 9:10The line was long and when we got to the window they were close. They should have at least came out and marked the last car. Wasted 50 minutes. New to the area and just found this place. Poor customer care. It would be beneficial for someone to give them some competition. Frustrated customer!!

I dialed deltona ice cream by mistake and tried to order food for another restaurant. Instead of letting me know they didnt serve chinese food they played along. When I called back to see where I ordered, thinking it might have just been another chinese restaurant, they laughed at me. Appreciate it. 1 star for customer service. It was pretty funny though.

Ice cream is great, staff is awesome very friendly and patient, prices are good besides the banana boat is a little to pricey, the drive thru takes way to long but its all worth the wait. If you want it to go faster go inside. But this place is highly recommended.

If you are going to close at 10 on the dot and lock the window. How about you go outside and tell the people who been waiting for 45 mins to just go home. Our time is not as precious as yours apparently. There was plenty of time to walk outside and check yells cellphones though SMH

I love this place but they take care of you without a mask. I had my mask on in my car for the my protection and for them as well but when I got to the window no one had a mask on. I understand some health issues that prevents you from wearing a mask but NOBODY had a mask. I hope they think of a solution to protect them and all.

Great ice cream but one of the employees while working alone on a Thursday evening had a line of 12 cars lined up into the intersection and the employee which I have pictures of came and took her break and sat in the parking lot on her phone, smoking a cigarette, petting a stray cat and laughing at people leaving the line because it was taking so long. The employees first priority should be making sure the customers are taken care of and happy before taking a personal break.

Ice cream is the closest you will get to perfect. They have a wonderful selection of creamy frozen desserts. The wait is the only drawback. It can take 30+ minutes in the drive through. If you arent in a rush and would like a special treat Deltona Ice Cream is the hot spot to check out.

Very unprofessional! An employee came out & saw there were cars waiting to be served & because of the long wait time I was last in line until 10:05 & I see the car in front of me come to the window & someone inside turns the light off! How rude instead of just telling your customers that even though we have waited a while that RIGHT at 10 you will stop serving!

Unbelievably slow!!!! For only doing drive thru service, one would think they would have a plan to speed up service. But, no. It takes them 10 to 15 minutes per car!!! Getting ice cream shouldnt be an all day affair, especially when it is the result of incompetence.

Too bad cant do negative stars. You need to take care of cars in drive thru even past 10. Let people sit in drive without telling them your closed. A smart business owner would take the time and serve all the cars waiting. Make an extra 100 dollars. Quite a concept. Please rectify the problem before you lose more customers. I have been going there for 7 years but I think you have lost me as a customer. If the problem is violence, you need to find a guard or someone to be there. I would do that for you. I dont want any to be attacked either . I hope that we can remedy the problem. I may come back, only cause my wife loves the maple walnut.🍦🍨😥

Even do the ice cream is great. The customer service is horrible, employees just chitchat an don’t care about the customer at all. I actually called today an ask to talk to a manager, the employee was very rude. She stated that was no manager at the store and she didn’t know when a manager will be at the store. Sadly this company was at one point a great company many years ago. I will like a manager to get in touch with me.

Its okay I wouldnt say it the best ice cream for the amount of time I had to wait in line. Proportion sizes are great small cup is pretty big.

It was ridious I waited in the line for over 45 minutes. I get to the window at 9:59 PM and the lady put up the sign closed and just walked away. There were 6 cars behind me beeping there horns. Wow would you think I would come back to have this wonderful ice cream. I use to bring my children but I guess I will have to find a place that really cares about there customers. You need to hire a security guard if your employees are getting attacked or close before it gets dark. You need better lightening or hire more people. Good luck.

I love their ice cream but wow that wait time is beyond ridiculous. There should be 1 or 2 people outside taking orders while 2 or 3 people inside prepares the orders. So much money wasted by customers leaving the line. An hour wait for a few cars is insane. Please sell this business to someone that would allow it to grow properly!

We were waiting in line for a long time, so we decided to call to see what was going on. The employee answered the phone with a condescending tone and told us to just wait until we were at the window. But what she failed to understand, is that we were waiting for a long time already. I wont dare support this business ever again. And from the other reviews, it looks like there needs to be more employees to handle the long line and training on how to keep business sanitary by wearing a mask.
