My husband & I are currently building our own house & subbing the work out ourselves. We have gotten all of our materials from Holmes and have not had any problems! Theyve had most of our materials in stock, if not they are quickly ordered & delivered. Prices have been very reasonable and the staff has been AMAZING! The main people Ive dealt with are Joel Forbes, Juanita Hill & Melanie Foster and they have been fantastic to work with. I highly recommend Holmes as the place to buy housing materials!

Very friendly people, most of them are helpful but you have to be careful. One of the employees tried to give me crown molding and tell me it was the baseboard I ordered. (???) Also watched me load 30 14ft pieces by myself in the rain. But other than that trip, Ive had good experiences. Dont always have what I need, but I check here first.

5-24-2019 I sent my contractor over to pay and pick up some supplies for my flooded home as I do with Home Depot, they’ll just call me from customer service to pay for materials and give them to the contractor. An Old cranky raspy voiced man called me on his cell phone and not from the store number. He said he was supposed to take a credit card number to pay for what I needed and the contractor was there to pick it up. As I was suspicious of who was calling and googling his number, I questioned why he was showing up a private cell number. He said he couldn’t dial my number from the store phone. i told him this is my business number for 10 plus years. (Too many credit card scams going on out there for me not to be cautious) So I asked what the model number was of the parts I needed to rebuild my flooded home to make sure they match what I already had as the contractor said he couldn’t take a picture to send me because all supplies were across the street. Contractor was a guy I just met. Well Old cranky guy got TOTALLY irate and told me to go get my supplies from somewhere else and hung up on me.I’m not sure how well customer service is supposed to be here but I’m taking his advice and going to Home Depot down the street where people are polite and know about professional customer service. If I could give less than one star I would. This is not how a person needs to treat customers. Geez! This guy 🙄

Very professional staff, great supply of materials and fast delivery. I didn’t need all of the material that I ordered and they were quick to pick up the unused material and refund the cost. I will continue to do business with them.

Great local vendor for all your building/repairing needs. Great company for when I needed to get my new floors ordered and installed. Also normally has items when places like Home Depot runs out.

Every time I go to this Holmes, I recieve excellent customer service. Being able to pull into a covered loading area to get lumber and/or metal, with the help of the workers makes them my #1 place for materials.

Needed some cheap plastic tubing one morning, figured Id give the local business a try instead of Home Depot. Older sales guy or owner (not sure) was fairly helpful, got what I needed and headed to check out. High school age kid sitting at the register (in a chair). Didnt speak a word, no hi, thank you, anything. Ill drive to HD next time, at least they speak.
