Brought my broken Mac back to life! Was a little disappointed about not being called when my Mac was done after a week and a half, and then didn’t check to see if it was taking charge. Granted, they took off $25 for making me wait for 20 minutes while they worked on the finishing touches which was very much appreciated.

I had brought my 21.5 inch iMac in for a tune-up (its been running slow for about a year or so now, annoyingly so) They suggested a SSD install (which was a little out of my price range) but even with the tune-up I can tell a monumental difference. They are so kind when you checked in and I told them it is $200 from Apple store for battery and keyboard replacement. And I heard it wouldn’t be expensive than what apple store asked. So I you asked them to replace my MacBook Pro 2015 keyboard and battery, after couple of days later,they asked $430 for replacement of battery and keyboard, And I have to pay $95 diagnostic service fee without diagnosis document when I declined their services. They said they never said that statement.The worst thing is they did not provide the diagnostic report even I paid $95. So I asked to put some their results.Please be careful on what they are saying or record it or try other store

I brought my MacBook to get fixed and they took about a week and a half to get back to me and tell me what I would need. Then they wanted to charge me an outrageous price. I couldn’t come pick it up since moving out of the city. I had the chance to go pick it up finally, and they tell me that my computer was recycled. Recycled without my permission!!!! They told me they reached out to me, I had no voicemails or emails from them at that time!!! No communication whatsoever. I will never use this place or recommend!

I brought it here for a fairly priced diagnostic and they did a good job communicating to me the root of the issue, time itd take for the repair and pricing.Was a smooth experience and they worked on helping me with my repair instead of pushing me to buy a new pc like the Apple Store did. Would recommend to friends/family.

I went in to get my screen replaced on a 2018 MacBook Pro. All though it was expensive, I was fine with paying for it and was happy with the repair- for about a month. My laptop stopped working suddenly, the screen was not responding. So, I took it back in and they were happy to fix it under warranty— however this took over 2 weeks. When I got it back, I immediately noticed the camera wasn’t working! During these covid times the camera is essential, especially since I’m a grad student. I called about the camera and took it in, they ended up telling me that the camera issue was not their fault and told me that it would cost another $500-700! The camera had never failed me until they “repaired” the screen for a second time. I was so frustrated, but took their advice and got an external camera. However, about a week in, my screen broke again!! I took it in and was told it wasn’t covered under warranty! Again they said it wasn’t their fault. I asked if I could sell it to them, since it’s practically useless and I didn’t want to put another $700 into it, they offered me $100 !! For a laptop that worth over $1000 for issues that I did not cause :( overall I had a bad experience and wish I never went there in the first place

Having computer trouble is one of the most stressful things in the world. The folks working here were so patient and kind. They did a really nice job of explaining what they were doing to my MacBook and helping me out. I highly recommend this shop.

DO NOT take your computers here. I dropped off 3 computers on 7/9/2020 that my business needed repaired as fast as possible. We were quoted 3-7 for repairs (BUT DID NOT GET THEM BACK UNTIL 5 WEEKS LATER, 8/14). I was informed parts needed to be ordered and that they would need an extra week, which I agreed to and fully understand as a fair reason for extra time. I was called on 7/30 with an update that the machines were still not ready but they expected to be done the following week. No call the next week, no call the week following.... After no calls or updates I finally called on 8/14 and was told my computers were ready weeks ago. Beyond frustrated, I went to the store immediately to pick up our computers, 1 full month later than quoted. A nearly $1500.00 bill was only discounted $100, less than 10%. When I asked for fair compensation for their mistakes made I was told that was all they were willing to offer.As a small business owner myself, Im beyond frustrated with the entire situation and how poorly it was handled. The owner of this company lives out of state. I highly recommend finding a true local company with local ownership, so if this happens to you, you may actually have a fair chance to receive fair compensation for the terrible service delivered.

Repair Denver Mac Repair quoted at over $700 was under $500 directly through Apple. It may seem daunting but the Apple mail in service is pretty straightforward and just as quick as a shop like this, when they also have to order parts and wait for them to be shipped. Denver Mac Repair: consider offering price-matching?

They explained everything that needed to be done; I never felt they were adding any unnecessary up-charges. I want to give it 5 stars even though its overpriced. But I got my macbook pro back (for a keyboard issue) bricked and they took no responsibility and even blamed me! When it failed, they refused to pay for the cost of the data recovery. Then they tried to charge me for the cost of the old hard drive so I could take it somewhere to be recovered.I will NEVER give them a single penny ever again

They’re relatively fast and reliable. I only spent what they had me put down as a deposit for some liquid damage. They ended up just recovering the data from my MacBook. Bonus, the price of the data recovery was included with the original cost.

I was cleaning my laptop fans on a MacBook Pro that I use for music production. I broke a cable inside and the machine wouldnt boot up AT ALL! I was about to lose over 40 hours of recordings. If you have a Mac, Denver Mac Repair cant be beat. The LCD on my laptop was failing and I took it to Denver Mac to have them look at it and give me an estimate (because, of course, the warranty expired!). They quickly diagnosed the problem and performed the repair. I dropped it off on a Friday afternoon and picked it up the following Monday afternoon. Brought my work computer in and they asked me to buy a part online and bring it in myself, though they didn’t use it for the repair. They then put it on a shelf and forgot about it for more than a month, during which I lost much needed income. I figured the delay was pandemic-related so I tried not to hover. I finally had to call to check in on it and they had a few more days to “look into it” before calling back to tell me they couldn’t fix it. When I arrived to pick it up, the employee told me they could have fixed it, but it would be “easier to just bring it to an Apple Store” which I did end up doing. They offered a vague apology and still charged me full price- I’m not even sure they opened or examined the machine. They seemed nice but I regret the hideous waste of time & money.

DO NOT BUY/GET REPAIRS DONE HERE, THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU.I brought my MacBook pro in to get fixed because it wouldnt power on, they tried replacing the battery twice and that didnt fix it, the third time they cleaned the logic board without consulting me or asking my permission, which seemed to fix it for about 2 weeks and then it died again, and the manager says that cleaning was a service we did for you complimentary and that cleaning isnt covered under the original battery warranty this was under even though the battery was never the issue, and they didnt consult me before touching the logic board. I had the laptop inspected by Apple themselves and they said Denver Mac Repair broke my laptop even further, and it now needs an entirely new logic board. So this company broke my $1400 hardware and wont fix it under their warranty that was requested within the time frame. The manager Chris is a thief, do not ever do business with these dishonest people.

I wanted to give these guys a good review because they are nice but I cant. I took in two devices, an iPhone with a dead screen and a iPad with a broken screen and they are both still none functional. It took longer than expected to get my devices back but I was initially happy with the repairs. The day after the iPad repair the screen stopped working because the home button got stuck. I took it back and they repaired it again at no charge. It has now been a couple of weeks and the screen is starting to not respond to my touch but I will not be taking it back. My iPhone had to be sent out for microsoldering and had a longer repair time. 1 week after the phone was returned the original problem came back and the phone was useless and I ended up buying another phone instead. I contacted them asking for a partial refund but they have declined. They did offer me something for the phone if I returned it but I don’t want to make the two hour round trip drive. The bottom line is I took in two items for repairs, spent over $400 dollars and both items are not working and they are refusing to provide me with a partial refund. I even showed them the non-working phone the third time I had to drive back to the store to pick up the second repair on the iPad. I will update this post if something changes but I will not be using their services again.

My Mac took an extended vacation last month in the midst of the corona outbreak. These guys were super friendly and understanding. They were able to get me in ASAP and get me back to work before i got too far behind. I will use you in the future!

Unfortunately I will not be going here ever again. My mother has been using Denver Mac Repair for over 8 years. She went in to repair the charging port and they ended up breaking the glass, and then re-configuring some thing inside, they were never clear about what the main problem was. They kept telling her two weeks, over four months later they finally give it back and had the nerve to charge me full price. By the way they lost all of my pictures. I would have save them but again my charging port to download didn’t work. She asked specifically if they could help her do that but never did. Unfortunately our entire family will never be going back there. It’s so sad.

If I could give negative stars I would. I brought my macbook air in because some keys stick. The girl (who had her mask under her nose) said they needed to run a diagnostic but did not say how much it would cost. After they had it for 4 days I got an email saying they were working on it so I called to see what was going on and the guy was pretty rude and said someone would call me. After 5 days, they called to say it would cost close to $600 when a new one is $1000. Needless to say I didnt authorize the fix. The website says $60/hr but the diagnostic cost $95. And btw, the keys dont really stick much anymore after the diagnostic so they were going to charge me $600 for nothing.

Charles is a great at what he does. He has fixed a couple of iPhone and iPad screens, changed a couple of batteries and even fixed the headphone jack on my iPod. He does everything quickly and you can count on the work to be spot on! Thanks Charles and you will have me as a customer for as long as you repair Apple products!

I had issues with my MacBook Pro after downloading the new Apple Catalina update. I stopped by Best Buy on Saturday to ask if they were an Authorized Apple repair location. The associate informed me that they were not, and they advised me to go to Denver Mac Repair or this private person because thats whom they send their Mac repairs to anyway (which I believe it may have cost me even more). I couldnt locate the private persons information, but Denver Mac Repair came up on Google right away and had several great reviews.I called in and spoke with Christopher. Right away, he suggested some possible causes and resolutions to me. I dropped off my computer in the morning and by afternoon, they called me and let me know my computer was repaired.Service was awesome, and Christopher was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and was able to figure out the problems quickly. The customer service was excellent. As for the repair fees, I believed it was very reasonable. They charged me a $60 labor repair fee and they did suggest a new battery was needed, but I opted out at the time because it was $100 that I couldnt pay. I highly recommend Denver Mac Repair if you need a fix on your MacBook.

My roommate had a bit too much fun the other night and accidentally knocked my 16 MacBook Pro into a pitcher of Margaritas. Evidently the MacBook is not a fan of Tequila and it immediately started puking up random lines on its screen before finally passing out in the corner. I tried to wake it up the next morning but being mildly aware of the symptoms of alcohol poisoning myself I realized this was a severe case! After waking my roommate with a hearty slap to the back of the head we made our way to Denver Mac Repair. I was a little skeptical about dropping $125 on the diagnostic and cleaning given we werent positive the extent of the damage but since its on the roomies dime I said lets go for it. Short story long, 7 days later Dave called me and said that there had been some corrosion on the video cable. He cleaned the corrosion on the cable and the other components in the computer and my Mac was back to normal, though it still doesnt like bringing up tequila. Less than $200 and a week Denver Mac Repair not only saved my computer but also my roommate :-)

5 weeks ago I brought my iPad in for repair. I was told it would take about a week. 5 weeks later its still not done. I didnt realize they out source their work rather than doing it in the store. I could have sent it to Apple and gotten it back sooner. I told them to stop the work and just get the ipad back to me. They told me it would arrive this Thursday. Im not holding my breath.

I went to this store to request a diagnostic for malware and they said they only offer repairs. I requested to speak with the technician but they said he doesnt speak with customers. They also took 3 times longer for turn around compared to other companies.

They are polite and professional but they are slow to provide repairs. It took 5 days for them to open my mac and then another 3 weeks to repair. If you are in a hurry consider going elsewhere.

My iPhone 6 was stuck in boot-loop. Apple claimed I had to perform a factory reset in order to possibly fix it. Apple refused to do a diagnosis while it was stuck in boot-loop. My priority was finding a solution that wouldnt cause me data loss. I received several insanely high quotes from other data salvage / fix iPhone vendors. My partner found Denver Mac Repair through a google search. We called and they were happy to look at my phone (same day) and charge $25 for a diagnosis. Turns out the new screen I had installed two days prior was causing the boot-looping. They put in a new display and the phone is now working fine!! Highly recommend these guys. Theyre affordable and more helpful than the Apple store.

I was told by workers in the Apple store that my laptop was not fixable (though told me I could buy a new one) but I could sent it off & pay over $1000 in hopes of my hard drive being recovered. Brought it to Denver Mac Repair & the guys were able to restore it 100%. I immediately bought a hard drive and backed everything up. Brought a 6-pack of beer to they guys to say thank you! They saved me as I had HOURS of medical applications saved on my laptop. Theyre friendly and knowledgeable. Seriously the best & HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper than anywhere else.

I took my computer in to get fixed in November, and it’s been one issue after another. I no longer trust this business and advise future patrons to go elsewhere. I spent hundreds one this computer, I should have purchased a new MacBook but thought it could be salvaged by professionals. All this business wants is your money. They’re difficult to get in contact with and are rude on the phone and in person.

Great customer service and quick turn around. Unfortunately when I got back to my home over 125 miles away I compared it to my wife’s same phone and the colors etc were WAY off. So much for Apple quality replacement....

I have always heard horror stories about getting your Mac fixed (cost more than a new one etc.), especially hard drive issues, but this was so affordable and quick! I had a hard drive issue and bad battery, and the cost for everything was reasonable and I feel like my computer is good a new and ready for 8 more years! And not lost data which is awesome. I found Denver Mac Repair Shop after trying several options that seemed far fetched, and they did not work. This company did an awesome job restoring my Apple I6 phone to near perfect. Anyone that I spoke with there was very informative with technical support and laymen answers.

However, at a certain point it becomes warranted, and in this particular case I can’t recall ever having a worse experience as a paying customer, anywhere, for anything so I feel I’m left no choice but to share.I brought my iPhone 8 plus into Denver Mac Repair in early February with a broken screen- they repaired it in less than an hour, but immediately upon picking it up something looked off- the image was flat and desaturated. I took it back to my office thinking it might be my imagination, googled the problem and found it to be an issue with 3rd party repairs using cheaper parts. I called them immediately and they offered to replace the screen again later that afternoon which they did. On several occasions following this second replacement I noticed a lack of reactivity on the screen- it wasn’t recognizing when I touched it and occasionally it would freeze. I called and made Denver Mac Repair aware of this issue but as it would come and go I didn’t feel the need to go in for yet another screen replacement at the time.3 weeks later I dropped my phone from a foot off the ground (with a case on) and the screen immediately shattered- odd because this seemed like a harmless enough fall and I’ve only broken the screen once before, after a number of hard drops where small chips became big cracks over time. I brought my phone back to Denver Mac Repair, and returned an hour later to pick it up. Christopher handed me my phone, and not only had the screen been replaced but the home button was as well, with a bright white part not designed for my black phone.Christopher went on to say that “the screen had been repaired so many times that the connection to the home button had come loose and we needed to replace it” but this was all that they had in stock. He let me know that I could bring it back in a few weeks when they had the correct park and that they would replace it. By the time I returned to my office it was clear that this new white home button didn’t actually work. I called Christopher immediately, at which point he explained that there is a security chip in the home button that can only be replaced by Apple, and that at this point it will no longer work and it cannot be fixed or replaced.He blamed this on me, insisting that it was my fault because of my need for the screen replacement, but offered a $10 refund for my now barely-functioning phone.Within two days the screen began to fail- it wouldn’t respond to touch, vertical lines appeared, and it would freeze. I brought it back and had the screen replaced for a 4th time. I was told they would look for a replacement phone but in over a month this offer went nowhere. The screen failed yet again and I brought the phone back for a 5th repair, during which they also replaced the non-functioning white home button with a non-functioning black one. I expressed that I was still dissatisfied and Christopher again blamed me again for the situation.I was finally offered a refund for the cost of the screen (not the labor) and currently have a phone with another failing screen and a home button that doesn’t work.I’ve given up and just ordered a new phone.I have exchanged several emails with the owner, but have only received short and curt responses, and no offer to help or make the situation right.I called Denver Mac Repair today and was hung up on by Christopher after he told me there was nothing else he was going to do.I also called a Senior Advisor at Apple and went through this with them- their answer was that Denver Mac Repair must be using low-quality parts, and this was not only the reason for the failing and unresponsive screens, but also likely the reason for the low-impact breakage.

Dropped off my Mac on a Monday and got it back that Friday. I need my laptop for school and it is working just like new. Very satisfied with their work.

Had my screen replaced on my iphone and their were some issues after. Which is to be somewhat expected on a complicated compact device Id argue. Well I took it back in and they fixed it up promptly with no issues or charge! Very friendly folks.

These guys are great! It took a little time, but they were able to diagnose and repair a problem Id been having for years! They kept me up to date with regular communication, didnt talk down to me, and kept their word on their 90 day warranty. I highly recommend this place!Side note: Ive found that if you cant park out front, theres usually a little space on Inca, just east of the shop.

They took several days longer than they said it would on the phone. No problem, but to add the icing on the cake they charged me $50.00 more than I was “quoted” on the phone. Nice people but stay away.

Older model Mac Laptop, Video card failure, Reasonable price on a good repair in a timely manner. Great assistance and good information from the technician. Highly Recommended.

GREAT PLACE! My hard drive crashed and Oscar worked patiently and diligently to do a data recovery. The staff is very helpful and professional. Im really grateful that such a unique, affordable repair store exists in the neighborhood.
