The place is marvellous!! Seriously! Another dose of that Delicious Denver Flavor. Make sure to say your prayers. The menu here is a blessing from the food Gods. I got a Cheese Burger and a Small fry and a bottled Tea. The Best. Everything had a gourmet touch. From the fries to the bun. Dont hesitate on stopping by and getting some. Nothing but major flavor. 5280 4 life...ππ½ππ₯Έππ₯π₯π₯π₯π₯β€οΈβπ₯ππ―ππ»
God it is so hard to find decent service now a days but let me tell you I am beyond impressed. I manage a restaurant myself so maybe I am more critical of restaurants in general but with that said this was an amazing experience. Best Iβve had in a long long time. Sarah was attentive and personable just like waiting staff should be. Very impressed and we definitely will be back. Delicious everything!!
Great customer service and the food was fantastic!! It was too good to be true!! I love this place I will definitely be back with the rest of my family. A great place to eat and be entertained AND I loved that I was able to go walk it off with all the shopping and entertainment around there. A+ just might be my new favorite place to eat.
Visited Denver & found this spot. The location is great, close to my hotel & shopping. I sat at the bar & ordered the Burger with onion Jam & Onion rings. The burger was just Ok, didnβt care the onion jam but the onion rings are so darn good. I met a nice couple at the bar so I ended up staying & talking.
Great burgers and happy hour is well worth your time. We just landed a few hours ago, checked into my hotel, and walked right over to the Burger Bar. We arrived around 4:30 and walked right across the street. We decided to sit at the bar which only had about 8 chairs around it to respect social distancing. They didnt give us menus but have us cards with QR codes on them. One for the food and the other for drinks.I ordered the jumbo sliders since I couldnt make up my mind. The hubby got the chicken sandwich with queso fries. My order came but the fries were Luke warm so I sent them back. Hot fries came back within a few minutes. The burgers were good and my really hubby enjoyed his chicken sandwich. The server Sydney was awesome. She took good care of us.
Food was good, service was not. We came in on a Monday evening and were seated right away at a high top near the bar. We ordered 2 burgers, a chicken sandwich, and a fry. Our food took 20-30 minutes and our server never stopped by to check on drinks or anything. Our food was delivered, missing the extra sauces we had requested, and we had empty drinks. We had to flag the server down after our food had been sitting several minutes. After getting the sauces and refills, she disappeared again for the remainderof the meal. We were starting to get really irritated at this point. We flag her down AGAIN asking for the check which she brought after a few minutes. After the check sat on the table for over 10 minutes with the credit card to pay, we decided we had wasted enough time here. My husband got up and went to the server computer area to find someone to cash us out. Absolutely ridiculous since it wasnt even that busy and unfortunate because the food was actually pretty good.
Google maps was about a block off.. location is in the pillion area.Standard decor you would find in any breweries. Our high top table had a missing chunk out of the top.. not a deal breaker, but could/should have been replaced or removed. The menu are QR codes.. so hope you know how to use them..πOrdered fired pickles as the appetizers.. they didnt come until after the burgers were delivered and I asked about them.. so thats a down side..I got the daily special of The Fat Boy, it was a good and decent burger..nothing to really write home about. My daughter ordred the What the Guac. She was pretty satisfied with it, it was a little messy.I ordered a cocktail of vodka lemonade.π. let me tell ya this.. it was a stright up vodka on the rocks.. with maybe a splash of lemonade..π€·ββοΈ
We were downtown visiting Monsters World and decided to eat dinner down there in the Pavillions. 5280 has great reviews, especially for service, so we figured we try that. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED! The food was good but the service was OUTSTANDING!! Its tough to find top-notch service these days wherever you go and 5280 had it!! I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant as its well-run, the food is good, and you wont get better service in most places! Thank you 5280!
The atmosphere was great, they have a comedic touch to the menu which makes for good conversation with a date. My wife is very picky with food and she was intrigued to try something new from simply reading the menu description. The food was as expected (delicious), and the service was quick and polite. From observation, it seems like a good place to take large parties also. Definitely recommend, good food, decent prices, and good atmosphere.
Food was lackluster. Service was terrible. They werent busy at all and we arrived nearly 2 hours before close. They made it abundantly clear they didnt want to be there and as a result, they didnt want us there. Great location. Ok food. Atrocious service.
One of my favorite locations in downtown. An excellent balance of quality and value. Perfect burger is my go to.
We were a party of seven and each of us was very happy with their choice.Weve had burger, wings and plenty of sides and everything was delicious. As an on top goodie our waiter did not hesitate to have us split our bills. I know its not common in the US, but Europeans do appreciate it.
After being thoroughly disappointed and walking out of Hard Rock around the corner my wife and I decided to give 5280 Burger Bar a try. We were absolutely impressed with the service, the food, and the atmosphere. Ashley was phenomenal and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we sat down to the second we left. I ordered The Boss Hog and my wife ordered the Strawberry Fields salad with chicken. Both dishes were very good. My burger was in my top 3 best burgers Iβve had. I would definitely eat here again if I make it back to Denver.
Really awesome selection of burgers, styles, and toppings. Great location downtown makes it worth stopping by from sixteenth mall. The outdoors seating still allows you to watch the TV and feel like your out on the mall. A classic Denver restaurant and experience. Cant beat it
So I wanted a cheeseburger but also wanted an appetizer so I got both. The egg roll cheeseburger was awesome and fried pickles m I never expected it to be big servings. But everything was delicious and the service was great.
So was in Denver yet again for business. I wanted a burger so I found this spot on Yelp. Called to make sure reservations werenβt required and I headed on down. When I first walked in...I was torn because they have an ice cream shop at the entrance. Surely (as I told myself) I could have dessert before dinner. (Itβs a trap I tell ya!) I grabbed my composure bypassed the ice cream and went to the hostess stand.I wanted to sit at the bar but due to social distancing it was full. They offered a seat at the bar outside which I took but the heat lamp was on and while that may be a good thing in Denver in March for some reason it was 68 degrees this day so that heat lamp was cooking my head. I made my way back inside and the hostess sat me at a high top which I was glad she did because Jess was my waitress. Now Jess was vibrant funny and showing a few dance moves (of course in her personal space) as the 90βs workout playlist was bumping on the speakers above. I told Jess I wasnβt from around these here parts and that I was starving. She first offered me a beverage of which I chose the adult beverage style of course. I went with the IPA Experiment #17 by the Joyride Brewing company. As soon as Jess returned with my refreshing beverage, she recommended the βMile High Cubanβ and I added a half order of Onion Rings and a half order of Truffle Fries (Donβt Judge Me! π©π₯΄)Now if you are greedy like me, this is the burger for you. Itβs got Angus Beef, Honey Smoked Ham and Pulled Pork....and because Iβm from the Georgia I couldnβt resist that PEACAN WOOD SMOKED BACON! GOOD LAWD a MERCY.... my mouth is a watering while Iβm typing this. Itβs topped with pickles and Swiss Cheese and to kick that sweetness up just a notch they had the nerve to drizzle some house made 5280 honey mustard sauce on top of that bad boy. Can you believe the nerve of this Chef to make a burger so good that you really want to order another one but you donβt want to embarrass yourself for eating two extremely large burgers. The truffle fries and onion rings were good but that CUBAN stole the show.I honestly didnβt want to leave. Between Jess and that food... my afternoon was turning out to be spectacular. If you are ever in Denver, go by and check out 5280 Burger Bar. (Fore warning..... that ice cream may suck you in before you get to the burger bar so be careful.)Ask for Jess and tellβem Drew sent ya!Yβall be Easy now!DrewβπΎ
This restaurants costumer service is off the charts. Though our experience didnβt begin well and we waited some time for someone to tend to us upon arrival. We were visiting from Dallas and looking for good food with our children on our daughters birthday. Our waiter comes over apologizes for the confusion and the experience begins. We order as much food as possible because the menu items choices were amazing. The food arrives and our picky children cheer (rare). Finally the food we the chicken burger, cheese fries, egg rolls, and more. Listen, we know good food but this was an experience. The children had chicken tenders served with fries. Now, the ketchup house made and all the bad stuff is gone. The ketchup was amazing and the best experience our children have had. We walked away with a bottle for the mishap in the beginning. The manager was amazing. You guys are the best!
Brussel Sprouts! Excellent! You are warned, it comes in a big quantity. Do it and then tell your mom you are eating your brussel sprouts. Seriously.
Super busy, Im guessing theyve been hit hard by the staffing shortages (I called for take-out and they put me on hold for 10 min before I gave up and just went to dine-in).They have gluten free buns for their burgers, but be careful when ordering the shaketinis (boozy milkshakes) - they seem to put nilla wafer cookies on top of all of them, even though this isnt indicated on the menu? Get the brussel sprouts, you wont regret it.
Service was slow but the food was worth the wait! Good happy hour prices. The burgers were amazing and if you cant decide they do have an option for 2 sliders so you can choose different burgers.
Fantastic service and the best burgers weve ever had! Every time I go here, it is a great experience. Portions are huge and easily shared. The outdoor seating is a great touch on a nice day.
Iβll be honest I wasnβt a fan of this place the first time I went. The burgers were ok and seemed a bit over priced to me. Recently moved to Denver and was looking for a burger place in walking distance. My boyfriend loves it and itβs grown on me. The Nashville chicken sandwich and fried pickles are my go to! So delicious! And make sure to save room for ice cream after π
Great and friendly atmosphere. The staff is always nice and helpful. They have an ice cream establishment connected to it, which makes it even better. Itβs centered at 16 street mall so which is makes it ideal when shopping in the weekends
I was charged three times for one 2 burgers. First delivery didnβt have the full order, so the restaurant tried to blame it on Postmates. The manager told me to put in a second order to get me the second burger and that she would void the charge. She never did- the charge went through a second time. I tried to correct it by calling five separate times and speaking to different managers. They continually told me that they would follow up and call back but no one ever did. Never got my money back for food I didnβt get. Extremely poor service.
Great place with tasty food and drinks. Jasmin, our server, was amazing and personable. Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are back on the menu so we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief. π
5280 burger bar is one of the premier burger bars that Denver has to offer! Be sure to try out the quest fries π π π. If you cant decide on 1 burger they offer the I cant decide Plate. With this order you can choose between two of the featured burgers (slider style). π€€
Amazing Nachos! Great burger. The whole family loved it.. Would highly recommend
The food was amazing and great drinks, but the service was horrendous. It was six tables with no more than 8 per table, and we were only checked on twice with more than 3 servers working.Waited 20 minutes for a refill, 13 minutes for them to bring our check, and they were quick to ring up the bill and make it come back. The only nice service we received was from the guy who brought us our food.We will definitely not come back or recommend to friends and family. If they kept up with their service instead of just standing at the bar talking and laughing (yes we could see them in the window just standing around - photo included) and actually checked on their guests, things would have been better and much faster.
I just eat the burgers at far west was very good the Maneger was very nice and the servers very good
We stopped by one evening to get ice cream for dinner and it was a great choice. They have a bunch of flavors of ice cream and are actually pretty reasonably priced. I chose the make your own sundae route and was very happy with my decision. The two flavors I chose (caramelized banana and campfire marshmallow) were delicious and they came topped with my choice of sauce (caramel or chocolate - I went with chocolate), whipped cream, and a topping (brownie bits for me). They also had shaketinis with alcohol in them that were very tempting but I decided that I just wanted ice cream this time. Maybe next time!
The customer service has been amazing, but I was not impressed by the food. Presentation was nice, but was very bland to the taste. I had the grilled chicken sandwich w/pepper jack and even the cheese was bland- NO spice/kick. My favorite part was the mixed drink from the bar. Still a pretty cool vibe for day date with hubby.
Such great burgers. Their fries are the BEST handcut fries in town. Burgers and ingredients are always delicious. Always a treat!
100% recommend if you are looking for a burger and beer in downtown Denver.
I have eaten at this location before and it rated 5 stars then, but my last visit was disappointing. Fried pickles were wayyyy to salty and they didnt charge me for them, which was nice. Burgers seemed like they had been sitting in the back for awhile because they were room temperature at best and the cheese wasnt even melted. I did enjoy the onion rings, no complaints there! I will give them another chance, but this visit was very disappointing.
The service, food and drinks were all good. This is a solid choice for lunch. I had the mushroom Swiss burger, and a couple dry dock apricot blondes.
A taco salad that was inedible because too much hot sauce dressing. Excellent side of fries and awesome onion rings could not make up for a really bad gin fritz cocktail. Ceasar salad with steak was just okay. Service at bar was okay originally but bartender left without saying anything, never asking how was our food. The other male bartender was enamored with a few ladies and seven other patrons on the bar had empty glasses. Took a longtime to get our check. Guess its only a burger joint and not good for other things on the menu.
Ive never sat down at the actual restaurant but, I go there every once in a while, for their ice cream. The ice cream is so good, and its definitely one of my top 3 ice cream places. You can order more than just ice cream too so theres plenty of options.
It was a good and inexpensive meal, a good choice if you dont want a continental breakfast. Service was prompt, ingredients of very high quality... the sausage produced in the house should be recommended.
My second time here. First with family and now to meet with an old friend. Works for any occasion. Fantastic food and it came out very quickly. Service was fine.
THE RING OF FIRE burger with house-made black bean & quinoa patty was really good!! If you like spicy food I definitely recommend it!!
Finally, a real burger restaurant has opened up in the Denver area. 5280 Burger Bar offers all the fancy burger patties like American Wagyu and Angus, but also includes the Colorado specialty of Bison patties too. There are some creative topping sets to choose from, and if you cant make up your mind, you can pick two and turn them into jumbo sliders. Sides like truffle fries are available. Overall, it was a very good burger dining experience.
THIS is what other burger places aspire to be. I am ruinedβ¦ no other burger joint will be able to satisfy me the way you do.Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is not overdone, wait staff are attentive and knowledgeable, there is a large but not overwhelming beer selection, the fries and onion rings are house made, sauces are house made, ice cream is house made, and last but not least, the burgers are exactly what you want.We started out with chips and dips, which had the holy trinity of salsa, queso, and guacamole. For the meal, my wife enjoyed the mushroom burger and I had their 5280 Prime Burger made from Wagyu beef. Portions were HUGE! And Iβm from Texas, so thatβs saying something. Then for dessert, I got to polish off one of the kidβs chocolate ice cream cones (only $1.50 for a kids ice cream). The ice cream is rich and almost custard-like.Kids ate for about $6 each, and the waitress even got our toddlerβs mac and cheese out before the rest of the food so that everyone got to keep their sanity. There was only one thing that that we did not enjoyβ¦ leaving. Im sad this place isnβt in Houston. This is my new standard. Oh well, one more reason for more Texans to move to Colorado!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks were pretty good but the food was excellent. Definitely my go-to burger spot for when I return to Colorado. I got the 5280 Prime cooked medium, and my friend got the Boss Hog medium. We also got a side of fries and onion rings. Their ranch was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our time here and cant wait to return.
Burgers are great. Service good. Beer is cold. The perfect burger was our favorite.
I made a pickup order on grubhub. The handover in the restaurant worked well and was on time. After that I just had a 3 minutes walk to my hotel and as I started eating the burger, it was totally cold like it never had been warm before. Nevertheless as far as I could notice, the taste was good. The fries were ok and the accompanying queso was warm! I had a Ring of Fire Burger as a vegetarian option with their quinoa patty and cheese fries.
One of the best burger restaurants in Denver! Located in the heart of downtown Denver, the Pavilions mall. Great place to go once youve gotten you shop on and done!
Their burgers are amazing. My family and I came here while on vacation abs it was definitely one of our best meals while there. Loved the atmosphere and the service as well. We will definitely be back.
We had some of the most delicious burgers and sides! Quality and service really stands out. The discipline to commit to the details shows a collaborative effort as a team to provide a true dining experience. My server was enthusiastic and super welcoming, I really appreciated that. The truffle fries, fried pickles, jalapeΓ±o cream cheese really paired well with the 5280 burger and the Baja Colorado burger. My experience was phenomenal and I hope your visit will be amazing too.
Came in to pick up an order for Grubhub. About 5 or 6 employees walk right by and ignored me repeatedly. Order is not ready on time. Very poor service for to go orders. Very rude! I have had to wait extended lengths of time every time I come here for an order.
Good burgers. Poutine had appropriately squeaky cheese curds.
You would think the way this place looked that the burgers would be wonderful. The problem is that the burger was just ok, the meat seems like it may have been previously frozen or if not they are not hand pressed. The best thing on the burger was the pickles. There was a lot of shredded lettuce, the bun was barely toasted and the fries were just ok. Not sure were the ketchup came from but its not Heinz. I love hamburgers and this one was just ok, maybe because we went right before the close, but to me you serve your best meals no matter what time you come in.
I had Ariana and Sarah as my servers and they were both PHENOMENAL and the sweetest ever. I got the mushroom burger with a vegetarian quinoa patty cooked extra crispy per their suggestion and it was genuinely one of the best burgers Iβve ever had. Delicious food and amazing service!
This place was great. The environment was great the place was clean everyone of the workers was dressed properly and our waitress was the best Arianna was the best and politeness was the greatest she made sure we were content and happy with our food also she made sure my food was well done as I asked. I know definitely we are coming back.
BRUSSEL SPROUTS π€€π€€π€€ These were the most delicious and flavorful brussels Ive ever eaten. SOOOO GOOOD. π One of my top choices for a meal downtown. Consisently good service and food. Finally tried the fried chicken sandwich; it was delicious. JalapeΓ±o cucumber marg was on point. Fries were delicious as always (tried the queso on the side... its okay). Also has an ice cream shop at the entrance/exit.
Called to make a reservation and was greeted by a customer service angel, Charlotte. Ms. Charlotte took her time gravely explain to me their reservation policy, never once did I ever feel rushed or anything less than important. Later I called back and Charlotte answered the phone thanking me for taking the time to inquire about the restroom. Eventually, I made my way to the burger bar, sat at the bar and the bartender carefully explain to us the menu, offered up recommendations and worked to satisfy our needs. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease in which each employee worked. The food matched the service, try the truffle fries! In summary please check this place out, you wonβt regret it.
Yum! So many unique and tasty burger combos. Try the pick two jumbo sliders if you cant decide on just one. Onions rings(crunchy and flavorful!) are the best along with the fresh cut fries. The bloody Mary mix was house made. The first one I ordered was thin and didnβt have any flavor. Our server Michael, made it right by personally making us a new one. Hard to describe the flavor other bold and spicy!! Overall itβs an incredible place to have a burger and drinks!!!
They were the first burger I ate in town when I move here three years ago - delicious!! Just recently took a friend in town and it was still delish! Consistent, which I love. They had a good drink happy hour. Staff was polite, nice, and cheery.
Greatly recommended. I had the spicy burger for lunch, so spicy yet tasty, super friendly workers, Ill be back 10/10. You had a Manly Burger with a thin side of Fries.
