Tops has pretty much anything you need and besides groceries,they also have citizens bank, a service desk where you can pay Bills get money orders ect. And they have their own pharmacy but not all locations have a pharmacy

Since returning from abroad, I have had many disappointing experiences at a few Buffalo-area Tops locations. As a child and young adult I recalled many of visits to be second to none if not on par with perineal competitors such as Wegmans, however in recent years, Top Friendly Markets consistently has lagged behind by way of price, cleanliness, quality, selection, customer service when matched against local, national and international chains that have entered the Western New York market within the past decade.My frustration with Tops started when first returned to the area May of 2015. I wanted to return bottles and cans for their deposit at the Tops Main and Union location. I had various redeemable container purchased at different supermarkets throughout the area.I inserted various bottles and cans into the machines which were purchased at several non-Tops stores such as Wegmans. All the cans were accepted and credited with the acceptation of a few others - the containers that were once filled with drinks I had purchased at another Tops locations the other side ofLast year, I was shopping for bananas the Tops Maple and Transit location. After I inserted my phone into the front pocket of my shorts, the mobile phone fell to the floor. As I was about to pick up the phone I noticed a working heading in the path where the phone fell a few feet away. The worker, wearing black shirt with a red collar, was dangerously close, so instead instead of reaching down to pick up my phone I told the worker I dropped my phone and watch out. Oblivious to my commands, the worker ran over my phone with the cart, causing two of the four wheels of the cart to knock the flimsy cover of the phone and and cause damage to the screen and stylus. Judging by the colors of the employees shirt I was certain it was a Tops employee who had damaged my phone.I called Tops customer service explain what had happened but they insisted that they reviewed video of the incident and insisted that it was not a Tops Employee they view in the incident, but a Coca Cola vender and they were not responsible. I had no idea how it would be possible that representative of Cola Cola would be pushing a cart carrying produce into the produce department. She along with other representatives told that a representative of Coca Colas insurance provider would be in touch with me and warned that I could that I could be responsible for committing fraud.When I got in touch with Coca Colas insurance representative I was stunned how unprofessional she was. I assumed she had access to the very same video the Tops employees had allegedly viewed and insisted she view it. Check the video, I said. She then replied yeah, Ill check the video, with a hint of sarcasm.I said it may not have been a Coca Cola employee because the person maneuvering the cart was wearing a shirt like most Tops employees commonly wear. I then asked what she saw in the video. After asking. She then revealed to me that there was no video and the call ended abruptly thereafter.Following the call, I continued to call Tops costumer service to inform them what happened, insisting it was Tops and not the Coca Cola Company that was respnible for the damage of my mobile phone. To this day, I was compesated by Tops with not even a ten-doller gift certificate. Its really a shame how petty Tops has become.

Tops never stops saving you more!

Let’s tell our employees that wearing their mask UNDER their nose defeats the purpose. No longer feel comfortable going here. Not one but TWO employees. It’s an easy concept. Mask goes over your nose to protect the people around you. You are contributing to the ignorance by not wearing it properly and are chancing spreading covid. Was there today at 255ish near the produce. One man with glasses had his below his nose. Noticed another as I was shopping. Won’t be back to this location. As safety of customers isn’t a priority to them.

This tops friendly markets was by far the best tops Ive ever had the pleasure to be in. The other tops markets could learn something from this tops. Front desk staff were absolutely fantastic and courteous and very helpful and took care of what I needed very quickly and thrall.thank you.it will definitely be the store branch that I will use from now on. The Tops not so Friendly Markets on Niagara street in buffalo should take notes from this staff

I went to this Tops specifically because it was on my way home and they reduced some seasonal items and I had been there last Sunday. I went back to buy some more and the same items were 60% off today! I like this Tops because although it is smaller it has many great deals. The cashiers are very pleasant too!❤

We used Tops for our wedding cake and were absolutely thrilled with the result! We received so many compliments on the presentation and taste. The price was amazing since it fed over 100 guests. We were able to meet with the baker prior to the wedding and we showed her some designs that we liked, but gave her the freedom to add her own influence to the design. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted amazing. The only downside is the limitation of designs. If you are looking for a super fancy cake design, Tops is not for you. If you will be satisfied with a simple, but elegant three tiered cake, I would HIGHLY recommend them.

A very, very clean and well taken care of store. Shelves, coolers and freezers well stocked. The staff is very friendly.

Not my usual Tops but I enjoy coming here its clean and staff is always friendly. Their organic and produce seem a bit bigger than at my store which is anplus. i also enjoy their prepared foods section to include the cafe.

Im there so many days because its the closest to home. Very convenient if you live in the genesee/transit road areas

Ran in for 2 things from the deli. One person was working both, deli and carry out cafe. Colin was good but slow, but there was a hiring sign on the deli glass. !

Love this store. Not too big or small. Usually have sale items regardless of when shopping, but if not rain checks are available. Only criticism is that staffing is off sometimes and long lines form. I did notice that there were a few new faces at the checkout so, hopefully that issue has been addressed.

I do all my grocery shopping there. They have the gas station out front where I can use my bonus points on cheaper gas. Huge selection of groceries. And always good sales

Staff are very friendly. Keep the customers informed to the changes in their stores. Very clean and well lit.

AWFUL! I WENT TO TWO TOPS LOOKING FOR FRIED CHICKEN NEITHER OF THEM HAD CHICKEN READY. MIND YOU UT IS AROUND DINNER TIME AND I DO NOT!! HAVE THE 30 MINUTES THAT IT TAKES FOR THEM TO COOK THE CHICKENS

They have everything you need for a grocery shopping trip prices are great with a bonus card

Front end manager is extremely rude. Not only to customers, but to cashiers as well. Maybe yelling at them in front of customers isnt the best approach, try doing it behind closed doors. Makes everyone feel a little more comfortable.

Midsize Tops. Big enough for assortment and small enough not to have do excessive walking through store.

Very unsatisfied with this location, returning bottles is too much of a hassle. All the machines were down I was told to “count each individual bottle” not once but twice and bring them inside. Once I was inside I was told to recount them and bring them back out to the machines. Will Never come back to return bottles!!!

I like this location (Transit near Genesee) so much better than one near my home.(Transit and Maple). They have more items that I need and like.

Im a former employee of this absolutely beautiful establishment, and the amount Ive stuff Ive seen should deter you from the store. The produce sits for a while before being changed out, and is beyond stacked in the coolers when old/near expired produce is put out before fresh. The near expired is then wrapped at a discounted price and sold, most are nasty. The floors everywhere are rarely cleaned well and the carry out cafe floor is so sticky and disgusting. Theres rat traps all around the store and BLACK MOLD in the produce room on the walls. Youll never have a cashier ready and waiting like Wegmans, since they only schedule 1 or two at a time. I live across the street and go to the Losson Road Wegmans because its so much better than any Tops.

Nice Tops but the aisles near the bakery are a tiny bit narrow with the beer displays there.

Twice in a week I had aweful service. The first time I left $100 worth of groceries there. This time I left without half my stuff. The manager Brandan was not pleasant and when I said I will never go there again he said thats fine. There are many other stores that will take my money. I went to the D&L plaza tops and got treated with respect and no problems

Staff nice but its always messy looking. I went down bulk isle most containers where dirty looking and very empty does not have as good of selection as dnl tops .I only come here when I have to

Workers are not very helpful and seem a little snooty. They seemed to only care about their own conversation. Also prices are never clear. Things that arent on sale are placed where the sale sign is. For instance there was a sign over a big bag of peanuts for $.99 but the sign was for pears witch the pears were on the opposite side of the sign. Ive seen several things throughout the store like this 😒

I Like Tops for the NAME BRANDS that they carry, especially the Italian Brands, Red Pack, Contidina, Goya! Wegmans is getting Greedy & replacing their products which are not that good! So Im switching back to Tops! They have Great Bargains without taking away BRAND NAME PRODUCTS!

In location on 6/1. 3 customers walking around without masks. All the way through checkout. Not one employee addressed this concern. Its a shame.

Tops is inexpensive but its also very dated. Try as they might, they struggle to achieve anything close to the Supermarket aesthetic that consumers demand these days. Almost as if they are locked in a battle of wills between the future and the past. This particular Tops always seems to have a shortage of cashiers - or theyre just trying to push self-checkout in order to save payroll. Who knows. If you live next door, this is the store for you. If you have a car or any way of reaching almost any other grocery store - do that.

Ive shopped at tops for a long time and will continue to shop here for certain items. Some locations are really good. However, quality of produce continues to go downhill at this location. Meats are good, box and canned product are fine, but limited freezer selection, and produce quality has been rather low lately. Ive found outdated orange juice, molded fruits, and rotten potatoes still sitting on the shelves. Might be due to the fact there are so many other locations nearby you can purchase produce at that it takes them longer to sell through inventory. Prices are not bad, but just check you products before purchasing.

Not a huge fan. I only go to tops if its closer or something is on sale. I Prefer Wegmans.

Tops is always friendly and very helpful. Some Customers today are rude and ignorant people. Tops handles them well. I cant believe how many dissapointed people we really live with in todays society.

Only self check out was available around 9pm at night on a Monday night. I didnt mind. Clean store neat and organized. Easy to shop friendly staff. Citazins bank brank and atm inside.But they were out of the kurigg capaccio mix I was looking for.

Never have what they advertise in the weekly ad, I always have to get rainchecks. Their produce is absolutely atrocious and very pricy compared to the excellent quality of wegmans produce. They almost never have more than 2 or 3 max. registers open and the self checkouts are always full of people with whole carts of groceries. Very poor custumer service as well

They always run out of the ad running product and force you to purchase full prices item, not on sale. the staff never seem to know w her anything is located in the store, just a mess. I rather drive to the next local tops.

Terrible customer service especially # 16 checkout girl just now actually said your killing me when she had to lift Pepsi product and kicking my can sofa c. Put eggs on bottom of basket and complained when we put paper towels on belt line front end manager saw her disgruntal face when she walked off station to get a key and said nothing. I was cut off by a kid and bottle return area always dirty with half of machines not operating. What a shame

Pharmacy staff is very polite. Will answer any questions you may have about medications.
