Ive gone here a couple times. Its a good spot to chill out and talk to friends. Prices are high, but its a Starbucks, you know? I had a pretty good experience overall.

I like this Starbucks in Derby, but the line can get super crowded. It can make it take a little while to get through. Otherwise, they have really good service. Also, their baristas can make some really good drinks. I will just say that my Chai Tea Frappuccino was absolutely delicious! ❤️ My husband said his Mocha Cookie Frappuccino was great, too.

This location has excellent customer service. A young man by the name of Elliot is especially attentive to customers and extremely knowledgeable over the menu.A lot of times at other locations it seems like the wait is exceptionally long. However this one is fast paced and their concoctions are always made excellent.

Great Pumpkin Spice Latte! The barista knew just how to personalize it for me and asked questions like “do you want whip?” That made the coffee even better. Service with a smile and kindness! I’ve had good and bad experiences here before, but I think the crew is better than ever.

I placed an order through my app while I was at work but started running errands and forgot about my order. I went back over two hours later when I finally remembered and the manager remembered my forgotten order and made it fresh.

I got the Peppermint Mocha drink, and it was pretty nasty. I prefer sweet and Subtle, but if you little chocolate bitter flavor this is for you. I love other drinks from Starbucks including refreshers, but the Peppermint Mocha didnt hot the same. The service is great and so are other drinks so 5 stars.

Im sorry I am not a fan. But many are and those whom are will enjoy this same thing different day no I dont have that one ingredient kinda overpriced thing if your in a big hurry theres another right across a parking lot inside target you are welcome.

The drive thru line was really long decided to go inside only 4 people in front of me. My wait was almost 25 min. They do online orders and drive thru priority . There was at least 15 people while I was still waiting an older women who was well after me walked up ask about her order they said they did not know where she was in line but theyWould make it which they did. I asked for a refund told them how bad they were with customers and I apologized to the customers inside that they had to hear me get onto them. I was given thumbs up and smiles when I walked out. I wont be going there again.

They took my order fairly quickly, but it seemed liked it took a while to get my order with 3 Baristas behind the counter. Only 1 of them was making drinks and it looked like he spent more time either talking or goofing off.

This is by far the worst Starbucks around I’ve gone here a hand full of times the have NEVER got an order right and wait time for drive though is always 20 mins or more. Save yourself the time and frustration and go over to the one inside target at least they are semi competent..

Great service! They are usually busy but what Starbucks isnt.

Was patiently waiting and then realized I was being ignored given the one taking orders was just doing her thing and just when I thought of walking out, I guess the supervisor asked the lady to help me. I then proceeded to wait for my order, realizing this is taking to long again, turns out they haven’t even started my order . Which is basically warming up the sandwich and my loaf. Am a patient person but I noticed. I would have understood if they were very busy. Trust me I know. I give up to the supervisor who took it upon herself to do it. We could do better. The one on hillside is usually busy and you can see the hard work and dedication.

Flat while tastes like hot milk.

I understand they are busy in the morning but when you place a mobile order for two items one would not expect it to take over 30 minutes to have those items ready. Waited in store and checked twice to find out they havent even put my order in the oven.

Only customer inside yet took 15 minutes for a warm hot chocolate and white chocolate mocha. Drive thru and app orders are priority. Totally overrated in my opinion. First and last time at Starbucks for me.

Drive thru line can be long depending on the time of day. Tends to be quicker to just go inside, but with a toddler sometimes its just easier to wait in line in the drive thru. I never have problems with them getting my order wrong, so the wait doesnt bother me cause they are consistent.

Idk what it is, but every Starbucks seems to make the same drink differently. This one has a more sweet approach

Kind employees and even though its a wait their positive attitudes help lighten the mood so the wait didnt seem to long. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and enjoyed my kiwi star fruit refresher. I also love the brown sugar oatmilk expresso. I hope it becomes a permanent change on the menu.

This place is ok. They stay pretty busy, especially in the drive thru. Their coffe is good and the barista are usually pretty experienced and good at making the coffee.

The slowest Starbucks on earth!!!! Sat in the drive through for 15 minutes, waiting on two drinks. I wanted to be nice and give two stars. That’s all I got.....

Dirty place and really the clumsy and immature employees, every time I come to this location they always charge me a different price...but seems that management doesnt care about it!!!!

I was traveling for work and the gentleman who helped me the other night was so friendly and nice and helpful.....even though i showed up right before they closed. He was great! Great customer service each time i visited that starbucks the last couple of days.

I had never used an email gift certificate before but the barista helped me figure it out on my phone very easily and the vanilla latte I ordered was fabulous!!❤

Waited for 25 minutes in line in the drive-through just to pull up at the window and be told they can’t make my order because the coffee machines are down even though they did not mention anything of the machines being down when they originally took my order

Its pretty upsetting when we order 2 items. We were waiting inside for our drinks and 1 was put at the drive thru and my pumpkin spice latte was not even filled to the level it normally is and no cool whip. What happened to the service today?

I wont be back! The barista was very rude and they dont listen I asked for lite ice and they filled the glass full!! Im tired of them never listening. This is the second time.

Maybe try NOT leaving your customers at the window for over 5 minutes without acknowledging them.

My only complaint is they seem to put the customers in store behind the people ordering through the app. I stood there for a while as the only person in line before I was even acknowledged and had to wait about 10 minutes for 2 drinks. When people arent even there to pick up there stuff I would think you would prioritize the bodies currently waiting but I guess thats why the app ordering is more convenient. My recommendation would be to order ahead.

This is the best Starbucks. My Daughter went in to get coffee today, but it was not a normal every day coffee run. I had major surgery last week. I had been craving my Starbucks, but for days wasnt able to have it. In my Daughters excitement for me having my Starbucks, she shared our story as she ordered. They were so happy for us, that my coffee was free! What place do you know of now a days that does things like that? They are so kind, and so personal. Its a joy to come to this Starbucks. Thank you all for making me feel so special!!!!!!!

Baristas were super busy, but still so friendly and conversational. My nephew and I enjoyed hanging out, watching videos and laughing and talking. The hot chocolate and praline latte were really good. Great job at this Starbucks!

Great at personalizing orders, they can do just about anything! and the staff is almost always super kind! Love the diversity there

The team here is very dynamic and all are excellent at their jobs, no matter the time of day or level of business. They even will begin to remember your order as you become consistent, which adds a local feel to the shop. They are helpful to correct any issues with your drink or food creation. Id recommend to use the app and order ahead as this can help with waits and allows for less error (since you make it how you want it and have the full actual menu).

Always busy, almost every other time I go here, they forget something on my order

I travel for a living, and have been to hundreds of Starbucks all across the U.S. It is ironic that the one I happen to live close to, also happens to be the most painfully slow Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

Love this location!!! Drinks are on point and the baristas are great at what they do!! Small conversation while I order is the norm here and they bring my food and coffee out to me when it’s finished! Thank you derby Starbucks 😍

Absolutely understaffed all the time. Order ahead 20/30 minutes probably not gonna be ready. As for inside you wait for the line outside to clear before getting your coffee. If youre inside dont be surprised If the afternoon shift acts like youre lucky that the even wait on you let alone have positive customer service. Ask for pour over and you just caused havoc in a nightmare for them with all kinds of sighing and eye rolling. The only great shift that they have is the crew at 6:00 a.m.. Monday to Friday.

I always have a good time at this Starbucks. The drinks are comparable quality to other stores, the speed of service is decent. Afternoons are busy, especially in the drive-thru, but that isnt their fault. Environment is nice, if a little noisy, bathrooms are usually clean.

Love love love their coffee!! The staff there are very nice, friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our app not working to get our buy one get one free drink but they still have it to us anyway. Happy customers!!

Always busy but great service

I am not a coffee fan, a family member is. I accompany them to Starbucks occasionally but I have only had hot chocolate there. Its not that great. Ok, its BAD. I would go about anywhere for better hot chocolate, cheap gas station fare is better & cheaper. Coffee drinkers may really like the coffee but the HC is watery, cheap and burnt tasting all while being overpriced. The extra star is for the folks inside being very quick and pleasant.

Drinks are usually made correctly but this is, by far, the slowest Starbucks I have encountered in the entire US. Last visit was a 20 minute wait in the drive thru with only 4 cars in front of me. Terrible. If I wasnt trapped between cars, I would have backed out and left.

Very friendly service, and I’ve always gotten my correct order. However, it can get pretty crowded inside and it’s a bit frustrating that it closes at 9pm. It would be awesome to use this location for homework and studying!

Waited 20mins for a drink when we ordered 3 and 2 came out before the third. And they looked at us like why were we there still.. I said we ordered 3 drinks and they were like oh we didnt know but the cups were labeled 1 of 3 and 2 of 3

I do like Starbucks but for the prices I think the cups should be a little bit bigger

For the most part, theyre good. But, I found that sometimes they do not fill the drinks all the way to the top (so, you may want to check your cup). Today, I found my cup only 3/4ths full and I had a pumpkin spice latte. I am not sure if they just filled the rest up with whipped cream, because it evaporated by the time I got to my house. Also, they need to change their store hours and keep open until 10pm.

I used to come here daily, but Ive found that over time the drinks seem to lose more and more flavor and taste more and more watered down. When I go to other Starbucks and order the same thing, there is flavor. Not sure whats going on.

So who doesnt like Starbucks Frappuccinos!! They are absolutely awesome for a quick fill me up!!

Everyone at this location is always super friendly and my order is always correct. This is one of my favorite places for random acts if kindness last time through I paid for my flat white with a 20.00 and told the cashier to pay for everyone behind me till the change was gone.

They are friendly faces serving coffee. Give them a high five when you see them next!

Give them a try. With enough time the baristas will learn your names and drink preferences. Just that small attention to detail is enough to win 4 stars. No company is perfect and mistakes happen. My experience is they will own any mistake and correct immediately. Give them a try.

It took way too long to get a cup of black coffee. I wont be back. Only took drive in orders and totally ignored my order. The coffee tasted burnt.

Awesome location, never too busy and even with a line service is fast and friendly. Its my daily routine to visit. I love Chelsea, shes my favorite barista!

They push the app, yet they wont take time to show you how to use it. I needed yo reload and she was too busy to assist. She just wanted me to pay and move on.

Great customer service however, the baristas need more training. A proper latte is made with a dollop of foam, is filled more than 3/4 of the way, and is not scalding hot where it burns off the roof of your mouth. The oatmeal had so much water in it after the 3 minute steep that I had to drain some of it off the top. Until more training is given, I dont think I would return to this location.
