Only place we’ve bought pork from since finding this place! The bbq sauce is surprisingly good, topped our list and we weren’t expecting it. The porterhouse chops are something you could eat daily they’re so great. Also we love their ribs. The brats were ok wouldn’t necessarily recommend them. We also got a suckling pig for a spit roast which was awesome. For a quick snack grab their pork sticks always a car snack we grab for the way home

Purchased a cherry wood smoked ham for Thanksgiving. It was the tastiest, juiciest ham we have ever had. The Berkshire pork is slightly sweeter and way more tender than your run of the mill pork. My family and myself are now ruined on any type of ham but this! We are excited to purchase and try more products in the near future. We will definitely be purchasing another ham for Christmas dinner as this ham will become a new family tradition!

Best ham I have ever had! Our office used Berkwood Farms spiral honey glazed maple wood smoked ham for our Thanksgiving party. Even people that dont normally like ham went back for seconds. This wont be the last time we order their ham. My office cant wait to try their bacon, pork chops, ribs and pulled pork.

In our quest for the best bacon in the Midwest and with our reining champions being from meat rich Wisconsin. (Neuskes and Usingers) We were first drawn to this product because of prior experience with other Berkshire pork products. The fact that it was an Iowa product surprised us in that most all the bacon here is of the cheap/salty variety. Not this time! After several back to backs we now have a new bacon winner in Berkwood. I have also enjoyed their Franks and can confirm these folks know what they are doing, and guess there is an old German behind this somewhere. One critique would be the poor marketing and supply of these great products. Occasionally found at Fareway stores, instead I would suggest it be highlighted at the better specialty food stores like Gateway market and Whole foods kind of venues. All in all Great Job!
