HUGE ice cream selection. That alone took me 10 minutes to go through! Also tried a macaroon for the very first time in my life here. The ube one is my favorite! The owner is so kind and friendly. Knows my family very well and always remembers our orders. We love this place!

I went in for a Mango Raspado and got hooked. Went again this week. It has real mango in it and is super sour!! Kinda like a Hawaiian twist on the mangoneada. Im definitely going back for more.

This is the place to go for caramel caribou ice cream! The ice cream was a very good vanilla base with ribbons of caramel with the chocolate covered caramel buttons! If you love caramel I would highly suggest this when you come here! They have 48 flavors of ice cream to choose from and if that doesn’t satisfy you they have smoothies and Hawaiian shaved iced! This place is hopping and I hope they stay around for a long time!

The kids love the ice cream here and they have different options. One of the reasons I give them 3 star its because today they were out of alot of flavors and second the girl it was working she was wearing a short skirt and of course if youre vending to reach the ice... I mean just not appropriate for the job.

This place has great ice cream, location and service. I had cookies and cream and my family had all different flavors of which I do not remember. Anyways, we enjoyed out time. They also had a flavord popcorn brand called freedom snacks we hadnt heard of so we got some to try.

I was craving ice cream and this place was closest to home. Its a pretty decent little shop. I got a smoothie, which wasnt that great, but their ice cream flavors looked good so if I get another sweet tooth Ill probably go back. Not too expensive either.

Such a great addition to our little community. Clean friendly shop and the owner is just wonderful. He really seems to care about bettering the community for our kids. He is also doing an ice cream program for the schools for kids to earn ice cream through being good at school. Such an awesome place.

Homefront is so good. I haven’t tried something there don’t like. Nesi, the owner, is awesome. He puts on kids movies when I take my daughters in. Really appreciate that its kids friendly. This is a great place for community! Highly recommend!

My whole family loves this place. Its where my kids always ask to go. I like that its such a welcoming space that always has good island music playing and the people who work there are nice.

Smoothies, horrible. they taste fish/dried seafood. it was like powdery. mangos are not fresh from the two of the mango drinks. 14 dollars ? wasted. ice cream though is good.

The ice cream was fantastic and the owner was an excellent host. There was a nice variety of flavors including huckleberry cheesecake which was absolutely delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Me and my family went there today around 3 pm. We wanted to go to a different “ice cream” store and so we found “Homefront.” It was our first time there, when we entered, nobody was there to serve us ice cream, they make us wait for 5 minutes. After that, we just chose 1 ice cream flavor for my grandmother, and my mother said we wanted 4 “sugar cones” with different flavors, and it seems that the employee didn’t got the idea and gave us 2 ice cream cones filled with the same flavor that my grandmother wanted. My and my mother just said that we didn’t wanted to have that and to change it, but instead they got mad. From that problem, the employees had mad faces, the service change and we didn’t felt welcome. The ice cream was melted just after the employee handed it to me. My brother had all his ice cream melted on his hand, and they just didn’t do anything. Our favorite ice cream store has always been “Cold Stone” and “Baskin-Robbins” but for today (to go to a different store) we went there but then we got disappointment. It’s our first and last time on this store.

This place is a gem in Des Moines! Ice cream was great! They also have Dippin Dots and smoothies. 48 flavors of ice cream. Excellent and incredibly friendly service. The prices are very reasonable and scoops are NOT small. Will be back for sure

The worst service ever, the employees were lazy and mad, all the ice cream was melted. Me and my family literally just got there and the employees were already mad. It was easy to notice that they really didn’t had much experience on the job. Another thing that was weird it’s that on the store, after you pay for the ice cream, they don’t give you any receipt, me and my family found that really strange and after asking about it, they got mad at us.

You have to try this place! In the words of my daughter, They have all my favorite things here. Ice cream, summerfun buns, bubble tea, italian sodas, shave ice. Many many choices of flavors and delicious items. Its one of our favorite places now.

Great selection, guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. Ice cream could be a little colder, my Rocky Road was a little soft and started melting right when I got it.

Went there for the first time. Had a ice cream date with my son and grandma. We sat down and there was terrible rap music loudly playing it had multiple curse words in it. My son does not need to learn that kind of language at a ice cream parlor! Not very family friendly. Grandma ordered the pina colada smoothie it was so thin and she was not impressed unfortunately either.

This place is so adorable and my friends and I love coming here for a chill time! Also love bringing my little sister in there too. The music is dippy and hip and overall the icecream is soooo delicious. I recommend this as a family friendly place as well as a cool hangout for teens after the college! The tall girl that works there is also super funny and adorbs! Would love to see some soft served icecream! 😪

Great atmosphere very colorful and clean

Not many choices due to a freezer being down and was surprised that they mainly had sherbert and just a couple ice creams. Also was quite surprised that they where allowing this guy to solicit his daughter into selling Candys for his drug habit to customers.

So so so slow waited 15 minutes and the girl working didn’t even acknowledge us there then half the ice cream was melted being refrozen and the ice cream we had was very crystallized and gross.

Never open during the hours they state. Came 1hr before closing and it was already closed on a Saturday night. Stopped by at 11:32am today, they say the open at 11am, and not a soul in sight. Not bothering trying again.
