I had a great buying experience here. I am happy with my purchase of a used motorcycle. I was not pressured or up-sold, it was a relaxed experience. Steve was able to answer all my questions regarding the bikes history and specs. The financing department was cool to work with. And their accessories department had a plethora of options for riding gear. Now to get outside and ride.

Really good sales staff by no means did I feel pressure in buying anything. They were willing to work with me to get what I wanted and treated me very well. The follow up after purchase was good as well. I really like the line of bikes they sale. Was suprised with the triumph brand never road or knew much about them even though I’m new to a chain on a motorcycle they walked me through a few things.

Steve was great to work with. He showed me several different bikes and answered questions about them all. Also Ryan (with several customers overwhelming the accessories section) was very helpful with helmet and the comms.

Had a 70 mph rear blow out on Easter day. Took in Tuesday, also had them change oil & add air to the rear shocks, was told MAYBE saturday. Done friday & bike finally feels right. Way to go guys. Donnie is a good dude running the place.

Just purchased a 2017 Kawasaki Vulcan! I showed up not looking to purchase a bike but found a used one that I was interested in. I brought my wife back to check it out and we ended up test riding and purchasing it the next day! I bought a new Triumph last year with them, easy process with the purchase. I havent been there in almost 6 months until today for some warranty work. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by name, and given a handshake. The sales staff are always helpful, and will NEVER pressure you into a sale. Parts and service staff are more knowledge than other dealerships that I have been to. Definitely will buy from them in the future.

The people that work here rock. I dumped my bike on a gravel road and ended up bending the handlebars, breaking the headlamp, snapping off the left rearview mirror, and bending the clutch lever. They literally fixed it all in a handful of hours. Put me back on the bike so I could continue the trip to Yellowstone. Thanks again Eric!

I purchased a new triumph from Struthers in 2013. The process went well and they were friendly and decent to work with. Though, the delivery/assembly fee was not disclosed & I was not aware that I was going to be charged that fee until signing.Since then Ive returned for a few small repair services which have gone well. I also laid by bike down and had to do an insurance claim and Struthers assisted in the whole process. They came & picked up my bike at my residence (as scheduled with the confirmation call from Struthers), wrote up an estimate, and completed the repairs to satisfaction. I have not had a single issue with any of the repair work that Struthers Bros has completed on my Triumph.

These guys really are the best. I bought my first bike here a couple of years ago and they have been incredibly helpful. Everything from actually buying the bike to buying gear and parts. Helping with maintenance questions for things I can do myself and performing expert service on my bike for the things that are a little outside of what I feel comfortable doing. Shop time is a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. I will continue to come here for parts/ service/ and hopefully a new bike soon.

Overall my experience here has been positive. They have worked with me on financing and were happy to give me all the information Ive needed on a bike. Good place to look for a good deal and a good bike.

Dont buy a helmet here. At no point do they mention they will refuse to return it once you leave the store. I bought one as a gift, and when it didnt fit they absolutely refused to even consider a trade in. The helmet was not worn. Brand New. What a way to support a customer. The salesman was at no way respectful to my requests.

Im here to say, my experience has been a good one.Last September, I purchased my new Bonneville. They cut me a good deal on the new bike, gave me a fair trade on my other bikes, and any service work that Ive needed, has been quick, convenient, and accommodating.The merchandise is kept clean and orderly as we as the showroom. I found a pre-owned motorcycle on their website that I was interested in. I did an inquiry online. I was hesitant, as I have never purchased a bike sight-unseen. Katie promptly responded with answers to my questions. She also offered to send more photos of the bike if the ones online werent clear enough. She accepted a [refundable] deposit from me over the phone while I secured the funds for purchase. After purchasing, I arranged shipping of the motorcycle to AZ. Struthers Bros did a great job prepping the bike for shipment and facilitating the pickup with the shipper. Katie shipped my keys, documents, and even a T-shirt to me. The motorcycle showed up in great shape.The whole process was very smooth, and there is no question that Katie knows what she is doing. I highly recommend them!

Have been here a couple of times. Have a 2007 and went in for an oil change today. Great FRIENDLY service!!!!!!!! Get an oil change, and their Spring Inspection every year, bought 2 coats for myself and my wife. Ive been so happy with the service that last year I called and thanked the owner.Thanks Struthers this is one customer that appreciates it!!!!!!!!!!

I was able to communicate with Grayson before making the effort to drive from the Davenport area to the Des Moines area to look at a motorcycle and work out a deal. Once we agreed on the deal, it was everything we agreed to. I bought the bike and was out the door in about three hours total. Nice customer oriented shop. Nice variety of bikes for sale, and the ability to support you after the purchase. Makes me happy to be their customer.

Joes helped my parents on multiple occasion and he tried to help get me into something they had when I was ready to purchase. I couldnt find anything that suited my tastes at the time, I came back to purchase gear. Youll have a lifelong customer here whether its for parts/service or a bike. Joes a great guy! I appreciate Ryan Printys help with the gear that I bought as well.

Worked with Garrick he was and excellent salesman. I told him what I was wanting to look at and he let me look at it (knowing its not what I needed) he then recommended another product. After looking at his recommendation he was 100% correct. I think I will be back soon to purchase from Garrick and the friendly staff at struthers brothers.

Took my first bike there to get serviced and everything checked out. They were very fast, explained everything to me, and answered all of my questions. They did this all for a considerably cheaper amount than I was expecting. Great overall experience and would recommend them.

This place was a lifesaver! My wife and I were traveling through Des Moine and had a Kawasaki 4 wheeler that needed minor servicing. After pleading my case, they told me to bring it in and they would see what they could do. Well I did and they got it running and showed me how to operate it. The staff were all wonderful! If I was in tge market for a new bike, this would be my first choice.

Looked at a new vehicle and decided to buy. Price went from 15,500 to 18,500 within a few days. It wasnt even a current model and was on the lot for well over a year... I was told it was shipping, setup fees and taxes. Be sure to get pricing in writing before you buy.

I have numerous experiences with Struthers over the last several years. (I actually just helped them pick my friend out a motorcycle.) However most of my experiences are when my bike needs parts. Ive bought a Stator from them and I asked them if I could check it before I left the store. The newstator was clearly not new it was greasy and clearly used. Next issue, I bought a sensor from them and it wasnt the correct sensor and they wouldnt return a $180 sensor! Lastly and more recently my fuel filter gasket has been leaking, and they sold me an old obsolete gasket, not once but twice! The only reason I found it was obsolete was because when I doing research on finding the bolt torque specs I came across it and then cross checked it in my manual as well.

If I could give zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I tried to buy a bike here, and after all the paperwork was filled out we got kicked out so the guys could go to lunch. We waited two and a half days without one call back before going to Garvis Honda and getting a great bike and a great experience instead of waiting indefinitely on Struthers. The salesman was totally disingenuous and disrespectful of my time. I guess my money wasnt good enough for them. Oh well, I like the Honda a lot better anyway.

I rode my way into Ankeny on a Friday night under the impression my rear tire had another 1,000 miles, but a closer inspection once I arrived at my destination revealed it was time for it to be replaced. I called Struthers Brothers the next morning right when they opened got a price quote and was informed they could do same day installation on my tires. They had the EXACT set of tires I was looking for at prices cheaper than what I could get back home and at my online retailers. Their on the bike tire install price was also fair and cheaper than the dealerships at home. They also checked my chain tension and brakes while my bike was in and had me road ready in less than time than I anticipated. Everyone I came across was friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had. I had a great experience and would highly recommend them to the locals and those passing through.

Service department didnt hook tie down on, instead left it laying on the watercraft. Lost the tie downs while transporting the watercraft down the highway. Had the craft in for oil change, found a cooling sensor was bad, fix it. It had been completed for a day, and I had to call them to find out the craft was finished. The very first trip out, after being out of the shop, the crafts went back into the shop. I was informed that they had test drove the craft, which wasnt true, because the first time out the craft wouldnt run because of water in the fuel tanks. This should have become apparent in a test run. So back into the shop they went. - Not Happy

Everyone was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and some even stayed late on a Saturday so I could ride my new bike home that night. The service department guys were great about making the adjustments I needed and everyone was very friendly.

Great initial contact with Struthers Brothers, and Nolan Strauss in particular. Very nice young salesman, asked me about my well-used 07 SV650S, showed me a couple new Suzukis without all the sales pressure. Nolan followed up with me a couple days later, very pleasant and again no pressure. When the time comes, Nolan and Struthers will be my first choice!

All sales on helmets are final or so they say when you try to return one but it’s not posted Anywhere. Then they start acting rude and condescending when you tell them you’re a new writer and made an honest mistake. Unfortunately just bought a bike from them, but will take all my upgrades and services elsewhere.

Great place to buy a bike and a really nice environment. Theyre very quick with the paperwork and can get you on the bike of your dreams within an hour or two.

On January 30th went to Struthers Brothers to look for a bike just to look mind you. And the sales men Joe Mitchell was awesome no push sales no pressure. He listens to what I was wanting to see and just hang out and talk shop an looked at used bikes and boom found me a bike that fits my profile of a 5-9 man that weighs 224. Fz 08. And the next day on February 1 got the bike and Kevin in financing was awesome as well though his printer may not agree with him on a good day. Over all looking for a clean well maintained dealership look no further. The fz 8 I got from Struthers was super clean.
